Very nice host, very good breakfast. would have loved being there longer.

Very friendly host, Maggie. Lovely setting, donkeys in the field next door and 2 gorgeous dogs. Rooms are huge. Ours had a double and single bed, plus table and 4 chairs, plus sofa! En suite big shower. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast very tasty. Only 15 mins to Kells.

We had a lovely stay at the Loughcrew bed&breakfast. The room was super clean ,nice and cosy The walk in shower was amazing with super strong water pressure which I absolutely loved 😉 The kit kats left for us was an absolute bonus which went just absolutely amazing with the tea we had after long day of traveling .we.can highly recommend.its a lovely spot, beautiful location and feels very homely Thank you Maggie

Very pretty location in the neighborhood of Slieve na Calliagh! I was jet lagged and very exhausted when I stayed so hopefully I didn't weird out the hostess, who was lovely.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Loughcrew View Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding – fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. The location is ideal for exploring the area, including the nearby Loughcrew Cairns and the stunning Meath countryside. What truly made this place special was the genuine hospitality and attention to detail. We left wishing we could have stayed longer and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable stay in Ireland. 5 stars – exceptional in every way.

This was, by far, the best B and B we have ever visited. The whole property was pristine and clean. Maggie and Dermot were perfect hosts, and the breakfast was splendid. We plan to visit again and would highly recommend your stay here!

I can't think of a thing that would have been better. It met all the expectations of what a great B and B should be like. Kudos to Maggie and Dermot for making us feel welcome!

Within an easy 10 min drive from Clonabreany House where we were attending a Wedding. Large, clean, modern rooms with everything you need. Maggie is great, so helpful and responds quickly to messages we were travelling with young children so I had lots of questions, Maggie made us all feel extremely welcome and we were able to choose a convenient time for breakfast. Lovely little dining area, with lots of homely touches.

Having to leave 😔 really wish we could have spent longer and managed to book a treatment.

Can not recommend this beautiful house enough. In a beautiful scenic area from the moment we booked Maggie was so friendly and professional and it was no surprise that when we got there the wonderful hospitality continued the house was sparkling clean bedrooms where so comfortable with everything you'd need comfy beds ,great shower and even some lovely sweet treats. We where served a delicious breakfast the next morning in the beautiful breakfast room would definitely recommend a stay in this fantastic b&b .

Location in a fabulous setting. Maggie was so helpful and accommodating for our group for an early check-in which we were extremely grateful for. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful breakfast too.

Recently stayed with Maggie and attended a wedding nearby. I had contacted Maggie in advance requesting the possibility of an earlier check in which without hesitation was accepted. The accommodation was immaculate, had everything we required and a delicious breakfast the next morning. We would be more than happy to stay again when in the region. Two nice donkeys next door which we got to feed also.

`i loved that Maggie was there to welcome us and show us the room. there were little bits extra in the room like some shower gel and wash things also tea and coffee facilities with biscoff biscuits and a small kit kat on each side of te bed. we also got a lovely breakfast and there was many options that maggie made available to use and everything was homemade.

the stay was perfect for us. maggie texted us before we arrived to confirm her husband would meet us. The rooms were spacious, clean, new towels each day. Extensive breakfast available, cooked breakfast was brilliant, much better than the hotel breakfasts. maggie was friendly and willing to chat at breakfast which made us feel welcome. Also accommodated us when we we went out and came back quite late into the evening. We didnt feel like we were intruding into her home, and we really enjoyed being there. Certainly would return and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you so much maggie, could say so much more in this review... everything was excellent

The perfect place to stay. Maggie is so lovely and communication from morning of our stay was superb. Comfiest bed ever and beautiful large room. Absolutely immaculate and tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was the best ever with so much choice and especially a hot chocolate as that's my weakness 🙂. For anyone booking just remember your shower gel and shampoo as I forgot mine and that was totally my fault 🙈. Can't deny that this was the best B&B I ever stayed in. Thanks so much again Maggie 🙏

Very comfortable and quiet. The room was spacious, very well equipped and absolutely spotless! The breakfast was generous and delicious. The owners Maggie & Dermot were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating and allowed us check in slightly early to get ready for a wedding nearby.

After a little difficulty finding Loughcrew we were welcomed by Maggie, her donkeys and well behaved dogs. Our en-suite room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a good selection of food for breakfast, both cooked and continental style.

We had a lovely and relaxing time at Loughcrew B&B and our bedroom was lovely and spacious, very clean with a great view of the garden. We received a very warm welcome from Maggie and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. The B&B is located in a beautiful part of the country and very close to Dublin. We would highly recommend and are looking forward to returning. Great value for money. 5 stars.

It was beautiful, quiet and exactly what we needed. We went to a wedding close by and it was perfect. Maggie was so accommodating, she went above and beyond for us and I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality. We had a rocky couple of days as our luggage not turning up and maggie did everything she could to make it easier for us. Thank you!
