The noise of the traffic from the main road in front of the property. This is only because I live in a cul-de-sac and I'm used to a very quiet noise level in evening and at night. It wasn't a serious issue and did not disturb my sleep.

Mi è piaciuta tantissimo l' atmosfera familiare, che si avvertiva in ogni luogo della casa. Posizione comodissima per visitare i posti interessanti. Noi siamo rimaste solo una notte , di passaggio, ma meriterebbe di fermarsi più a lungo. Ottima colazione con il miele del luogo! Grazie per la vostra simpatia! Consiglio vivamente!!!

The tea and coffee options in the room a bit limited - decaf option would be good.

La proprietaria è stata molto premurosa e gentile e ci ha fornito alcuni spunti per il nostro itinerario.

Reviewed Nov 13, 2024Very easy to access as it's literally 2 mins of the M8 Cork/Dublin Motorway. Value for money is exceptional. Very comfy bed, roomy with a large ensuite with shower, sink and toilet. There was a TV but I didn't use it. There were enough room for 3 people (1 double bed + 1 single bed) Host was very friendly, easy to talk to and accommodating. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked nothing fancy but a full Irish nonetheless. I stayed in 4 star hotel before with a way worse breakfast than this. Honestly 0 fault.
My biggest gripe is that it's just on the N62 main road and there's a lot of traffic, and you can hear it continuously, including at night. So bring ear plugs because it is be a nuisance for a good night sleep. Overall the look is a bit dated and old fashioned but it was just for 1 night, you won't see the room at all. Limited wall sockets, one of them had an extension lead which didn't work. No biggies but this is an easy fix. Nothing major for me.
