Je kunt van af 6.30/7.00 ontbijten tot........., lekker op je gemak. ook hier weer leuke aanbevelingen, door de gastheer. Deze doet erg zijn best en alles; bed, douch, kachel koffiefaciliteit voldoen aan de eisen. lekker rustig maar helaas ver van het centrum, je moet met eigen auto of taxi. Leuk centrum. parkeren bij het huis.
eigenlijk niets, was even wennen maar was goed, moesten wel even aan dit ontbijtconcept wennen. kregen alle privacy.

Una delle due camere era piena di umidità, a causa di un’infiltrazione di acqua dalla doccia, con una insopportabile puzza di muffa; la parete esterna del W.C. era rovinata dall’umidità e così pure il soffitto della camera, da cui cadevano frammenti di pittura; la porta del W.C. non si apriva per intero ed impediva di entrare comodamente; il copriwater di plastica era rotto e non si manteneva fermo nella posizione rialzata, impedendo di orinare in piedi; nella doccia c’erano mattonelle rotte e una gran quantità di muffa vicino alle stesse e alla finestra; i mobili presentavano maniglie rotte; la posizione era molto decentrata.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Es gibt für Autos Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück und die Bushaltestelle zur Stadt rein ist auch gleich nebenan. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und gibt einem auch Tipps wo man am besten essen gehen kann und für die Verkehrsmöglichkeiten.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Überall bildet sich Schimmel, Badausstattung ist sehr alt und defekt. Fliesen drückt es schon von der Wand weg und das Schlafzimmer war mit einer Türe mit Glasfenster zum Gemeindschaftssaal abgetrennt. Preisleistung nicht gut

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Risse in der Decke und in den Wänden, Spinnen und Spinnennetze überall, herausragende Fliesen in der Dusche, sogar der WC-Sitz war gebrochen und dadurch hat man bei jedem Hinsetzen den Deckel auf den Rücken abbekommen. Das Haus ist dringend RENOVIERUNGSNOTWENDIG! Wir waren 6 Nächte dort und zwei Tage vor Abreise wollte man von uns haben, dass wir das Zimmer wechseln, damit sie mehr Cash machen können. Das habe ich abgelehnt, weil ich 1 Tag vor der Abreise nicht herumpacken wollte. Fazit: Reine Abzocke! Das war zuviel Geld für schlechte Leistung!

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026De host, Pat was ontzettend aardig en attent. Er was een mooie ontbijtruimte en de kamer was groot genoeg en lekker koel. Het centrum was goed bereikbaar met de bus. Je bent wel een half uurtje onderweg maar dan betaal je ook maar € 2 per persoon. Voor een taxi ben je ongeveer € 20 kwijt.
Het bed was wat kleiner dan verwacht. Het ontbijt was goed maar vrij basic. Ik had verwacht dat het iets dichter bij het centrum was.

He & his wife provided a lovely, homely place in which to rest after big days exploring. The included breakfasts were fabulous with an ample & varied selection of delicious food to choose from.

Comodo il parcheggio nel cortile e la posizione fuori dal centro è perfetta per raggiungere le località nei dintorni evitando il traffico cittadino. Camera molto spaziosa, pulita e ben dotata di servizi, con armadi grandi e letti comodissimi. Ottima e ricca la colazione allestita nel salotto. Il signor Pat, discreto ma molto disponibile, accoglie gli ospiti con calore, gentilezza e professionalità. Esperienza più che positiva!

But they have charged €300 for both the days to my credit card at that stage. Thankfully booking.com said that they refund me and give me the relocation cost in two weeks but I had to pay new accommodation from my own pocket again. The property was over booked.

Not my favourite place to stay in Galway, check in at 18.30? Not really convenient. The room had a glass door that you could see trough and is just in front of the bed so you need to pull down a curtain when you are in the room and then lift it up to go out and is just not very handy and doesn't feel private. Reviewed Nov 4, 2025Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er gab uns Tips für Essen gehen, Taxi und Busfahren. Parkplatz war für uns auch wichtig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Zwei verschiedene Müsli, hartgekochte Eier, Brot, Toast und ab und zu Croissant. Zwei verschiedene Marmeladen, verschiedenes Obst, Joghurt und Riegel. Kaffee, Tee und heiße Schokolade konnten wir selber machen. Der Aufenthaltsraum war den ganzen Tag zugänglich und wir konnten uns auch Nachmittags Kaffee und Tee machen und die Mikrowelle benutzen. Unser eigenes Essen konnten wir in den Kühlschrank legen und Pat stellte uns für das Abendessen Teller und Besteck bereit. Bushaltestelle direkt an der Straße. Zum Silverstrand waren es zu Fuß 30 min durch die Erholungsgebiete Cappagh Park und Barna Woods. Sehr schön. Wichtig war der Heizlüfter im Zimmer, damit es etwas wärmer wurde. Besonders erwähnenswert sind seine tollen Halloween Dekorationen, die sogar gruselige Geräusche machten.
Es gibt gar keine Aufhänger und keine Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad. Auch im Zimmer gab es keine Haken für nasse Jacken und nur einen Stuhl. Sehr eng. Die Koffer mussten neben dem Bett stehen. Im Bad konnten die Handtücher nicht trocknen. Wir mussten sie über unsere Koffer hängen und vor den Heizlüfter stellen. Insgesamt für uns im Aufenthaltsraum viel zu kalt. Es gab zwei Schränke und eine Kommoden, die aber komplett mit Dekoartikeln und Krimskram gefüllt waren. Bitte diese Schrank aus dem Zimmer entfernen. Wir hatten zwei Fächer im Schrank und 6 Kleiderbügel an der Stange. Für 11 Tage Aufenthalt zu wenig.

The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and beautifully maintained - truly a home away from home. The continental breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of fresh delicious options to start the day right. What really made our stay special was the host, Pat. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area offering great tips on local attractions and entertainment. His warmth and friendliness made us completely at ease. We genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming getaway in the Galway area. Au bout des quatre jours, nous avons senti de l'humidité dans la chambre et pourtant nous avons eu beau temps. C'était le seul inconvénient. Mais pour un court séjour on ne s'en aperçoit pas. J'y retournerai tout de même !!!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und man kann davor parken. In der Nähe gibt es Take-away Restaurants, um in anderer Restaurants oder Pubs zu kommen, muss man das Auto nehmen. Das Frühstück war kontinental, es gab Toast mit Marmelade, Joghurt, Cerealien und Obst.
Der Besitzer schien relativ desinteressiert, hat schnell und emotionslos die nötigen Informationen übermittelt und ward nicht mehr gesehen. Das Zimmer war klein und sehr dunkel.

Tout le reste ! Salle de bains vieillotte et mal entretenue, peu de ventilation, de la moisissure, carrelage qui se decolle dans la douche, le petit dejeuner en autonomie et pas diversifié, sans plats chauds et aucune possibilité d'en preparer, le cafe en sachet soluble ! Vraiment les personnes qui ont mis 10 comme note c'est incompréhensible !
