One of the most magical stays these sisters could ask for. It exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of to make our stay one to remember. Our trip was unforgettable in large part to the beautiful humans at Sea Breeze Lodge. We cannot wait to return with our mom.

The B&B was clean, comfortable with an a la carte menu breakfast that was absolutely beautiful with fruit, juices, coffee and a choice of a fully cooked hot breakfast. Fred & Michelle were astonishing hosts with nothing too much trouble.

Probably slightly far from Galway centre although the walk to Galway along the promenade was brilliant. A taxi back was quick an inexpensive if required.

We (a family of 5) finished our 12-days road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way with a 3 nights stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge B&B and it was just a perfect way to finish our Ireland trip. Fred&Michelle are amazing hosts that go the extra mile to ensure their guests have an amazing experience while staying at their B&B. Think fabulous breakfast with gluten-free options, complimentary snacks, refreshments and fruits in the room, beach towels upon request… the beautiful live piano music was just a cherry on top. We also really enjoyed talking to the hosts, the personal stories and conversations they shared with us made it feel that we were being treated like more than simply just ‘guests’. All in all, it was a great stay, wonderful and genuine people, and of course the best location, you can’t ask for more.

Going to leave an honest review because at £325 a night this is hugely overpriced !! 4 o’clock check in - latest time I have ever seen and 11 am check out . Breakfast times were very restrictive 8:30 to 10 - and the quality of breakfast was very poor - no vegetarian options, standard loaf bread toast- no mushrooms, pastries, cheeses etc we didn’t even stay for breakfast on our second day it was that underwhelming. No coffee machine in room. For the price we were expecting a whole lot more. We stayed multiple places during our trip to Ireland and this place was hugely overpriced for what it offered. Were also disappointed in the location - had to walk quite a way just to find a pub 😔Normally stay in hotels with all the facilities they provide but thought we would give this place a try because the reviews were good - wish we had stayed in a hotel closer to town and beach.

Sea Breeze is perfectly placed in Salt Hill, by the sea, just minutes away from the bustle of Galway Town. With the most comfortable beds you can imagine and a luxe feel to the room and facilities, provisions include fresh fruit, ground coffee, snacks and beverages in the room at no additional cost in addition to a welcome drink. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, the room (Penthouse) was so spacious with a view, opening windows, yet a level comfort that made us feel cosy. The bathroom facilities were on a grand scale 0 fab shower and a separate bath.

The Sea Breeze B&B truly exceeded all expectations: the room was loaded with amenities (water, snacks, house slippers, robes, fresh flowers, and…you can hook your phone up to the speakers for music—all included) the bathtub was wonderful, the bed was comfortable and the place was clean and very quiet. The owners, Fred and Michelle, made the experience exceptional! The breakfast was a full on gourmet meal prepared by Fred, himself. It was our honeymoon and they made it really feel special by presenting us with a box of chocolates! I wish all the places we stayed during our trip to Ireland were this amazing. Highlight stay of our honeymoon. Definitely 5 stars.

Das Haus liegt an einer Anwohnerstraße in einem Vorort von Galway, die morgens und abends befahren ist. In fußläufiger Nähe befinden sich ein sehr schönes Pub und ein sehr gutes Golf Restaurant.

We had a wonderful trip to Ireland that began with our stay at the Sea Breeze B&B. The bar had been set very high as the location was perfect, the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, breakfast was delicious and our hosts, Fred and Michelle, were so warm and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our chats with Fred, his recommendations on where to eat and visit and his jokes! We were sad to leave but were so rested and relaxed. Thank you for making the start of our vacation a memorable one-your attention to detail and personal touches made our stay perfect!

The room and the facilities were to an exceptionally high standard. Our hosts were very hospitable and made the whole experience a very positive one.

Everything about the property was first class and for us the location was exactly what we wanted. Opposite Galway Bay, secluded from the City but close enough to allow us easy access to all Galway and the Latin Quarter had to offer. - just perfect!

​We had a truly wonderful experience at this B&B and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, our host Fred went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His hospitality is second to none! ​The room was beautiful, offering a stunning water view that was a joy to wake up to every morning. It featured the most comfortable bed we’ve encountered throughout our entire holiday, and the shower was easily the best we've used—powerful and refreshing. ​What really sets this place apart are the thoughtful extra touches. We were greeted with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, and a lovely selection of cheese and crackers. The entire property is sparkling clean and set in such beautiful, peaceful surroundings. ​Fred’s local knowledge was invaluable; his restaurant recommendations were spot on, and he even took the time to organize a day tour to Connemara for us, which was a major highlight of our trip. If you are staying in Galway, look no further!

It was very clear the owner of Seabreeze takes a lot of pride in his B&B. The breakfast was delicious and the room was comfortable. Close enough to a few restaurants to walk for dinner. A quick drive to Latin Quarter or Eyre Square. Best stay during our trip.

I cannot think of anything I did not like. It was a wonderful guest house and the host and staff were very friendly and kind.

Das Frühstück war vielfältig und sehr lecker, Eierspezialitäten wurden frisch zubereitet. Sehr schöne, großzügige Zimmer. Fred war jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und gab hilfreiche Tipps für Restaurants, kostenlose Telefonhotline um ein Taxi zu rufen.

Die Strasse direkt zwischen Haus und Meer, der Lärm ist natürlich nicht zu vermeiden.

Extremely clean, spacious, a lot of extras like automatic blinds on the windows and a Bluetooth sound system in each room! The view was beautiful from our balcony, facing the bay! It had a very deep tub which made for a long, relaxing bath! The breakfast was absolutely amazing, very flavorful! The hosts are so very sweet and accommodating! The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful!

Beautiful setting with a fabulous view. Amazing Hosts who went above & beyond with many extras to make our overnight stay relaxing as well as providing everything you needed and more in the room. The breakfast experience was an absolute fine dining experience, the owner and staff offered impeccable service and quality. We felt welcomed and comfortable in the entire environment both in the communal spaces as well as in our delightful room. The bathroom was clean and modern with a lovely sizable bathtub and nice fluffy towels and robes provided.

I personally like a fairly flat pillow and all of the pillows were large foam pillows, I ended up placing one of the throw pillows into a pillowcase so I could sleep well.

What a lovely accommodation! The location is great for visiting the charming city Galway but also for taking a trip to the Aran Islands or the many beautiful castles around... or for just enjoying nature. Our room was perfect, always clean and supplied with fresh fruits and snacks every day. Breakfast was delicious and we are really grateful for the wonderful atmosphere Fred and his team created. They are very caring and are happy to share their knowledge about the surroundings. Thank you for the wonderful time we spent here!

Loved the personal touches; for example, the pastries are made in house and breakfast is cooked by a French chef to order. The bed was the best- if I could only take it on the plane. Best of all was the staff. They are wonderfully responsive and went out of their way to solve a problem I had created for myself. Highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated, the room was clean and homey! Fred was a wonderful host with so much information on where to go and what to do. the breakfast was DELICIOUS and everyone there was so friendly!

The shower head in the ceiling was a little weird, but certainly not a deal breaker.

- Very friendly staff. The boss patiently explained the advantages of the accommodation and which restaurants were highlights nearby. - The location. The accommodation was right on the water. Quiet and idyllic. - The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable.

- The hotel is a few kilometers away from Galway Downtown.

Die Lage ist etwas Ausserhalb von Galway in der Nähe von Salt Hill. Mit dem Auto eine sehr gute Alternative zur Innenstadt von Galway. Definitiv eine ruhigere Gegend. Zuvorkommender Empfang und sehr schöne, moderne Zimmer mit viel zusätzlicher Ausstattung. (Fernglas, Soundsystem in Zimmer und Bad, ...) Ein Präsentkorb mit frischem Obst als Willkommen hat uns sehr gefreut. Als Bonus hatte unser Zimmer einen kleinen mit Getränken gefüllten Kühlschrank. Sehr grosses Bad mit schöner Wanne. Direkt in Strandnähe. Traditionelles Frühstück mit grossen Portionen. Aufenthaltsraum wirkt sehr gemütlich. Insgesamt zu empfehlen.

Zimmer mit dem schönen Strandblick hat leider auch die Strasse vor den Fenstern. Wer mit offenen Fenstern schlafen will hört die vorbeifahrenden Autos.

From the moment we arrived, Fred and Michelle were the most warm, welcoming, and genuine hosts you could ever hope to meet. Fred even drove us to a local pub on our first night — such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was absolute perfection: a heavenly king-sized bed, skylights, a luxurious bathroom with a tub (a rare treat in guest houses), and every thoughtful detail imaginable — from a mini fridge stocked with milk and cream, to fresh fruit, snacks, coffee, and tea, all complimentary. The in-room sound system that connects to your phone was the cherry on top, letting us unwind to our own music in comfort. Everything was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and filled with warmth — from the cozy ambiance to the soft piano music playing through the main floor. Breakfast was out of this world — my gluten-free blueberry pancakes were absolutely divine! Fred even treated us to his own live piano playing one morning, which made the experience extra special. They also offer a laundry service, which was so convenient during our travels. Fred and Michelle are not just amazing hosts — they are the heart and soul of the Sea Breeze Lodge, and we truly left feeling like we’d made lifelong friends. If there were a rating higher than five stars, this place would deserve it. An unforgettable stay in every way — we can’t wait to come back!

Der Hausherr war jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und gab hilfreiche Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der B&B entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Beautifully situated looking over the ocean. The owner was exceptionally polite and informative. The room was large with a kitchenette, a sitting area, a king bed and a beautiful bathroom, and very clean. Breakfast was very good with so many options. It was in a very safe area of Galway and the owner made dinner recommendations that did not disappoint. We walked to a nearby Irish Pub and had the best meal of our stay. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough nice things about the Seabreeze lodge! We stayed here on our honeymoon and Fred had a nice bottle of Champagne and a box of chocolates to celebrate our wedding which I thought was a very thoughtful touch. Fred and his lovely wife thought of every detail and everything was exceptional! All of the staff were as friendly and attentive as Fred and his wife! Breakfast was delicious and filling for a whole day of adventure. There was fresh fruit, snacks, coffee and tea in our room. Everyday when we came back the room was tidy and anything we used was restocked. Fred had booked a bus tour for us to the cliffs of Moher and the shuttle bus picked us up right there at the B&B. If we ever make it back to Galway (which I hope we do) we will definitely stay here again!! I highly recommend!!!

La qualità della struttura e il modo in cui è tenuta, tutto perfetto. La disponibilità dei titolari, che si prodigano in molte indicazioni. La camera e il bagno erano molto belli, la colazione è veramente curata e abbondante. Letto e cuscini confortevoli. Parcheggio ok. Quartiere e vista molto gradevoli.

La dimensione della camera (la 2): eravamo in due, con dei bagagli settimanali, e non c'è molto spazio per posizionarli in modo efficiente.
