Perfect location, 8 min walking from Giza entrance at the Pyramids site and nice Pyramids view from the window
The building has six floors and no elevator, although this is not a major issue. The breakfast consists of a standard plate with only one option. The room provides only the minimal essentials. In addition, the power outlets were very unstable, making it difficult to charge my phone. Furthermore, I was not given the room I had originally booked; the staff claimed it was Booking.com’s responsibility to inform me of its unavailability. However, they then asked for an additional USD 11 to “upgrade” me to that room.
After someone steals from you, there is just nothing to do to make it right. The price for the room was supposed to be just over 30 dollars for the whole stay. We had a late evening flight, and because the room was supposed to be so cheap, I was willing to pay for one extra night so we wouldn't need to carry our bags around. Little did I know, that upon arrival, when the person working in this awful place asked to see my phone to check the reservation, in reality he took my phone to update the reservation, without me knowing, to be able to charge over twice the real price. Service was already poor in my opinion, because when I contacted the place to make sure they would accept either card payment or payment in cash in euros, they decided not to mention me that there will be 5 % extra charge for paying by the card. When customer specifically contacts you beforehand, it doesn't take much effort to mention this to them. If they only had charged just this 5% extra, but instead of 30 dollars they took almost 70 dollars from my card. I know people in Egypt are not the most trustworthy but this is something I would never hace expected, that someone dares to use my phone to change the reservation and change the price behind my back. So don't go to this place, because there are some of the most dishonest people I have ever met working there. We were also asked to change the room after first night. I know sometimes it is very difficult to be able to handle the reservations in the way that everyone is able to keep the same room during the whole stay. However in this case I am pretty sure it was just an act to steal that extra 35 euros from us. We also weren't provided with any information, what to do with our stuff during this time. It is very basic act to promise to get the new room ready as soon as possible, but here even that was too much effort. I don't know if there was wifi, but at least we weren't provided the password for it.
Honestly super great! Clean rooms, very kind and helpful staff! Would highly recommend! Great view from the window!
My stay was great..I was here for a business trip and everything was fine and pleasant... Room super clean. Amazing breakfast ..Ragab is a great guy he serves lovely breakfast each morning . The owner Mr Mohamed was a great of help and greets everyone with a smile ...if I need anything he goes for it right away. Thank you for the lovely stay.
My booking cost was 22 $ just when I get in hotel to check in he changed my booking to 33 I do not know how but the funny he did changed me 37$ believe that will happen to you if you book in this hotel it will be hard for you to looking for another hotel if you just arrived from long trip trust me do not go
Amazing experience, very friendly staffs. I can’t wait to see you again guys!!
The hotel is close to pyramids and has as nice rooftop view. Shops, bazaar, taxis, (first shop on the left has beer (rare to find btw)) are all close by, hotel offers good variety of food, and is not expensive. The staf is very helpful and knows english.
Beds are realy bad, maybe just that room we were in. The hotel offered Us a planed trip to see the pyramids for which we paid 50eur + the tickets 80eur = 130eur for 2 person. The trip was bad 3/10. The "guide" aka driver didnt tell us anything about the history, he simply drops you at the pyramids and waits for you. Camel ride was fun, but we made a deal for 1h, but got 20min. I would advise to book all trips on Your own, its much cheaper and you can get more for Your money
Couldn't dream better for our last night in Egypt! The rooftop, the view on the Pyramids and the sphinx, the nice rooms, the gorgeous breakfast, the helping staff especially Yussef, the optimal location just 2 minutes from the Pyramids, all perfect! Chukran and see you soon ❤️
We loved everything! 🫂✨
Location
They took a lot of my money, don’t get tours from them. Cause I paid almost 400 hundred dollars for tours that costed less than half of that amount. They already have arrangements with people to make you blow your money.
The view from the rooftop, probably has to be the absolute best in Giza. If there are any other ones, please point them out. The Oreo Milkshake is my favorite thing to get from the restaurant on the roof.
Can't really think of any negative things.
View from the terrace and location (few minutes walk to the ticket office/entrance for the pyramids) are the main goal here. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. A good place
View from the room was amazing, really helpful staff.
They didn’t have a sign with the name the taxi driver drove for 10 minutes before finding it
Very friendly staff, convenient location, just steps away from the pyramids.Nice roof top patio with view to the pyramids with nice breakfast.
It was what I expected.
Best hotel to see the pyramids. Better view than at the pyramids themselves
ffordable and great value for money plus the beautiful view
Good location, great rooms for this price
No elevator 6 floors building
The total price was showing in the app 42 dollars but they charged 10 dollars extra without any information.no daily maintenance.
The room and place. Also the breakfast and rooftop view with pyramid view.
None.
Near to pyramids
hospitality, availability, stuff
breakfast should be varied
Nice and amazing, like always, when we stay there. Thank you.
Nothing
Cleanliness, no body care about guest requests
The location We loved watching at Pyramids at breakfast and at night. The breakfast and the lovely lady who served the meal. The manager and staff were very helpful and respectful.
The room I wished It had a bigger window. It was little and hight on the wall that made the room stuffy without acgood ventilation.
Friendly staff, they organized the transport from the airport. Close to the pyramids entrance and you can easily reach them by foot ( don’t listen to the horse riders that want to force you to book with them). amazing view of the pyramids! Okay breakfast.
Property is great, but the shops nearby scams turist, be aware.
When I got to the room, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned before I arrived. Actually, the cleanliness of the place is what I liked the least during my stay
the women who prepared breakfast were without a doubt the best when it came to providing a very good service
The terrace ; the breakfast and the desk service. Mohamed was very helful.
Nothing seious but I missed a window in our room.
the view. wifi was good
bathroom ;)
Amazing location
Nothing
Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The women made fresh egyption breakfast on the rooftop and Mohammed organized great excursions and perfect transfers.
generally very good location and we have mountain view room it was great . terrace has great view of the pyramids
the breakfast is just a about ok.
The hotel has an brilliant view of the pyramids. Mohamed is a very gracious host and was very hospitable in every way.
The view from the roof and the breakfast.
You can hear the noise from outside, but it is normal in this location - we still liked the local experience.
Mohammed and his team were amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. breakfast was lovely considering the amount one pays it’s really a treat
busy in the area but the staff was so accommodating with everything and every query.I cannot thank them enough
Amazing view from the rooftop ! One of a kind ! You pay for what you get :)
Really know it’s far from the city center !
Friendly staff couldn’t do enough for you. Central location. Nice rooftop terrace where you could take your own food and drink and watch the the pyramid light show. Enough hot water a decent shower and breakfast didn’t look much but was plenty for one.
This was called pyramid hills not pyramid inn. There’s a lot of hotels with the same names be careful to book a taxi through the hotel in order to avoid getting harassed at the airport and being taken advantage of. The hotel was up a side street and easily missed. Very noisy during the night and very early in the mornings. The internet wasn’t available through the whole of the building.
amazing staff that were always helpful and fabulous views
small rooms and I did not feel comfortable walking around in the area
The view is absolutely astounding! Can’t miss. The food they order you for dinner is even better! Such a unique place that is a must stay.
The bed was a bit hard, but not too bad.
it's a nice place, everyone was very helpful, the location is a walking distance to Giza n yeah my room had the pyramid view 😍
Great location--Infront of pyramids, all staff very helpful and freindly and breakfast was excellent
Excellent place location staff Excellent internet / wifi. I truly recommend
Breakfast was traditional egyptian and was very nice. The view at breakfast was breath taking as it was served on the roof with a spectacular view of the pyramids. All the staff were friendly and they looked after us very well, we almost felt like 'family' after 5 days there. They offer any trip from the hotel at a very reasonable rate
We were fine but i think if you can't climb stairs very well you will struggle, there are no lifts to the top floor where the breakfast is served
The Manager Mohammed was great and very helpful. He goes an extra mile for his client . His communication leading to the trip and postbthe trip showed he cared about his clients. He was waiting for us at the airport and arranged all our tours at very competitive pricing. He also advised us on do and Not Do.
My room was near the stairs and from time to time there would be some noise people moving up and down the stairs.
The view at the rooftop
The bahtroom, the shower, the bed.
Good Location & Good breakfast Staff will scam you any chance they get. Do NOT book tours here you will NOT get what you pay for. The view on the rooftop is quite spectacular!
1. We never got the same room that was advertised on booking.com 2. Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff with big smiles. We went to the rooftop terrace with Faru to discuss a camel riding pyramid viewing PRIVATE experience. Faru told us promises of amazing photography of the Giza Pyramids in the morning and incredible camel riding experience ect ect. We eventually agreed on a price of $230 USD for both myself and my wife for this tour. The next day we did the tour with our guide named Mohammed who took us on a very rushed tour NOT PRIVATE skipping over 50 percent of Giza (the part we were most interested in) and at the end I asked what about the camel tour? He replied that he didn’t know anything about camels being involved in this 4 person tour… After we arrived back to the hotel to speak to the manager Mohammed. At first Mohammed tried to blame us that we didn’t do the camel tour and after a couple more excuses ect ect he refunded us $80 USD of the money we paid and he pocketed the rest. Unfortunately this is Egypt and we took the small portion refund and learned a lesson. In the end Mohammed the hotel manager, Faru and the guide Mohammed scammed us by giving us the “basic” pyramid tour package valued at approximately $55 USD for 2 people in a NON PRIVATE tour and they pocketed the rest of the money. The next day we did the Giza Pyramids solo NO TOUR by ourselves and it was an experience of a lifetime!
For the price it was a very good stay. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was filling and enough. The hotel itself and my room especially was clean and well maintained. The view from the rooftop was trully outstanding and remarkable. Also noone at the hotel bothered you, or asked you for tips, unless you specifically asked them for something. If you visit Egypt you will soon learn this is a HUGE upside. Overall if you want a safe and nice place to stay for cheap this hotel is a good choice.
The neighbourhood wasnt the nicest. But i learned quickly that it comes with the territory so to speak. I took a walk around the Nile, and even the area, where 5 star hotels like the Four Seasons were located, had some very run down buildings around them. Thats the unfortunate reality of egypt i guess.
The view of the pyrmaids
We're supposedly checked in to City Pyramids inn but they transferred us to another inn without even asking permission if its ok with us. On the new inn, its clearly sooo dirty, noisy and toilet light was not working, we requested 2 times to change them and said yes, bot nothing really happened. Me and my friend is uncomfortable and can't sleep well of how dirty the place is.
All staff were very nice and helpful, specially Mohamed. He was always fast to reply to any doubts before the trip and after arriving to Egypt he helped setup tours for all days and made the whole trip very pleasant. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety The rooftop view was amazing, you can see the pyramids very clearly Strongly recommend!

Small rooms
I recommend this hotel because it is very close to the pyramids and has a very nice view apart from the fact that the staff is very friendly and they guide you in everything, the hotel is comfortable and the hotel manager is very friendly and gives you some offers for the tours very good, I like everything.
nothing
What's next to the Pyramids. And friendly staff.
Unfortunately, the rooms are dirty. Ants are crawling on the bed. I found a large cockroach in the toilet, the walls are dirty, there is mold on the walls.
location is good, friendly staff. tour package value
There isn’t a better view of the pyramids from your hotel than staying at City pyramids inn. I would watch sunrise and sunsets from the rooftop and have a spectacular view. You are within 5-10min walking distance to the Sphinx. Mohamed was a great host and gave us many tips for places to visit, eat, and help with setting up our tours. Apartment interior was new and well maintained. I would recommend staying here for a comfortable stay

9.2/10Very positive: 'Perfect location', about 8 minutes' walk from the Giza entrance and provides a nice Pyramids view from the window.

7.4/10Value impacted by minimal room amenities, limited breakfast, and the unexpected request for an additional USD 11 to get the booked room.
