Nice little hotel with very kind staff. We felt welcome from the first day.
The hotel has a nice local feeling and the people working there were very welcoming. We enjoyed having breakfast in the morning and sitting outside later in the day. Overall, a comfortable stay.
Amazing view of the Pyramids! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay.
Great location, clean room and beautiful pyramid view. The breakfast was good too.
The room was very nice, clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were some of the friendliest people we met during our trip. They were always ready to help us and made sure that everything was perfect during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent.
Perfect location with an incredible Pyramids view. Very peaceful place, good service and excellent breakfast.
Very nice hotel and perfect location. The staff were kind and helpful. I would come back again!
One of the best views of the Pyramids! Very friendly people and excellent service.
The hospitality and cleaning and sure the view
The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the view of pyramids in the rooms and roof top And I Advise anyone who comes to Cairo to stay at the Draz Pyramids view and the hostel was nearest all the facilities and pyramids and DownTown and specially thanks for Mr Hassan for his hosting ❤️
Hasan was really helpful and kind. Terrace view is amazing you can have your breakfast with the pyramid view. Breakfast is quite well, you can enjoy local Egyptian foods (falafel is 10/10) The room was clean only bad thing there is no toilet inside the room. Location is too bad, we were having trouble to walk on the street at night. There are no good restaurants near the hotel so you need to take a taxi to eat something. ( you can easily call a taxi so no worries)
Very close to the piramids, walking distance and very nice and welcoming owners
All was perfect, host was so kind and welcoming!! Recommended!
Nothing.
Such a wonderful experience! Very friendly staff, the girls working there were super nice and always smiling. Shout out to Hassan, who woke up to check me in at 3AM, upgraded my room without me asking and made sure I'm comfortable during my stay. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality! I will absolutely come again.
Nothing.
Friendly host who took care of everything. He allowed us to check in at 3am. This hostel is very good accommodation near the pyramids with comfortable beds and a hearty breakfast on the rooftop. The rooms have different facilities, and ours had a shower and a view of the pyramids. Everything was neat and clean. They allowed us to leave our luggage. The host is the best 🔝
Everything was perfect
Everything was perfect. Comfortable room, very nice terrace Work vies over the pyramides to eat the yummy breakfast. The staff was very friendly, and giving us a lot of advice and help. I’d definitely recommend .
Location is good, staffs are nice. Good view from Top
Everything was perfect! The owner of the place Hassan was very nice and upgraded our room, so we stayed in a room with the pyramids view! The view is amazing, also from the terrace it is very beautiful. Everything was clean, the breakfast was tasty (served in a requested time), Hassan gave us useful recommendations about visiting the pyramids. The place is very close to the pyramids (20 min by foot to the ticket office). The staying in this hotel was a pleasure for us, highly recommend this place!!!!!!!
Everything was perfect
The owner is very kind. The breakfast is good and terrace is lovely. I would stay there again.
The owner was great. Kept us in a bigger room than we booked. The breakfast is great! Also, the owner allowed us to keep our luggages for a few days.
Very kind owner, great breakfast and nice terrace.
The place is very close to Giza pyramids, but the neighbourhood is not very good.
The tranquility of the place is amazing and the view of the pyramids. The rooms are big and comfortable and the terrace is amazing. Thanks Hassan for your hospitality and kindness during our stay.
All good nothing to complain
Everything. Absolutely everything. This place is a must if you visit Cairo: - amazing rooftop view over the pyramids - amazing owner Hassan, gave tips and helped with everything - amazing breakfast, room, hospitality Giving this place a rate of 10 is NOT enough!!!
I had to stay longer
Hasan was an excellent host. Our room was spotless as was the whole hotel. The breakfast was large and filling. The view was great. Hasan was helpful from start to finish and went above the call of duty helping us with medical issues that arise. Hasan organised our pyramid tour and airport transport which was great.
Nothing,
It's always a pleasure to stay at Draz
Great terrace on the roof with fantastic view of the pyramids - it's actually much better than on the photos. The room was nice and clean.
The room with lots of windows that unfortunately are not sound-proof, so it was really noisy until very late from street traffic. The only place in Egypt where we used earplugs to sleep. Breakfast was okay, but based on the previous reviews I was expecting some home cooking and proper coffee, not a takeout with instant coffee.
We liked the friendly welcome from Hassan (Hassam?). We also enjoyed the 5 comfortable beds in the family room. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace, looking out on the pyramids and surrounding neighbourhood. Hassan went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He also found us a reasonable priced private guide for the pyramids and Memphis.
I greatly enjoy a typical, bustling neighbourhood. This is a very busy Giza street with cheap local stands and markets the entire length. As world travelling backpackers we loved this. However, some guests might be put off. It is also very hard to find a taxi. Make sure to ask the owner or assistant for help. Yousef did all he could to make sure we got an Uber, even sharing his mobile connection with us until we were safely away. Thank you!
Hasan was very helpful if you needed to order some food or change money. He also gave us some food to take to the airport as we had an early flight. The view from the terrace is amazing!
A bit noisy at night when some new guests arrived.
Great rooftop view, very tasty Egyptian breakfast, helpful staff, spacious room, great location near pyramids.
Great breakfast, fantastic location with great views. Loved my huge room and the friendly helpful owners and staff. A real treat.
No complaints.
We had a wonderful time. I was traveling alone with my 4 kids and all the staff went out of their way to make sure we had all the help we needed. Mr Hassan, Youssef and Mona are the best. They helped us order pizza for dinner and we booked a great tour though them to the pyramids of Darshur, Saqqara and Gizeh with a driver and a great tour guide. The Egyptian breakfast is a feast every morning, served on the roof terrace overlooking the pyramids. We stayed for 5 nights in the family room with 5 comfy beds in it. Do note that most rooms have a shared shower and bathroom, but that was no problem for us. The hotel is close to everything and only 15min walk from the Sfynx entrance of the pyramid complex. It's in the middle of bustling Gizeh life, so if you're looking for a real experience compared to a boring generic hotel, this is the place for you!
Nothing
Great location, friendly staff, loved the view from rooftop
In winter, having Breakfast on the Rooftop can be a bit cold - maybe provide some blankets. Also, we didn’t have mobile phone data and there was no doorbell when arriving. Thankfully our cab driver helped us to get in though by asking a local lemon cart driver to call the owner
We loved the attention and good disposition of the staff. The Egyptian breakfast was delicious every day. The beds are very comfortable. The hostel has a very nice rooftop with a spectacular pyramids view. The owner, Mr. Hassan, is a very kind person and always willing to help. We would always return.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We felt safe there.
.
The host is so friendly and open. We had to leave early suddenly and on emergency, and he allowed us to refund the night we couldn't stay. Amazing man And the breakfast was good. Location great. So close to the pyramids. Very clean. Kind people
I didn't like that it was a little cold at night. But that isn't something the hotel can control, I came in February so it's expected.
Great first night in Cairo with beautiful pyramids views. Host were more than helpful arranging options to see the pyramids (which is easy walking distance so no transports needed) as well as Saqara, Memphis and Djoser. Very nice breakfast spread on a gorgeous rooftop as well.
Some traffic noises from the streets, nothing good earplugs wouldn't fix.
During our recent stay at Daz Pyramids View Bed and Breakfast, Hassam and the team made sure we had everything we needed – and then some! They even arranged for us to have a tour of the pyramids with the most amazing guide, Eraky, who was so knowledgeable about all things Egyptian that we were convinced he was actually a reincarnated pharaoh. But the fun didn't stop there – we also got to relax on the rooftop with a shisha pipe and enjoy the breathtaking views of the pyramids. And let's not forget about the delicious meals that Hassam arranged for us – we didn't even have to leave the inn to taste the best of Egyptian cuisine. In fact, the food was so good that we were tempted to say, 'Belly full, heart happy!' (Just like the Egyptians do!) And we can't forget about Yousseff, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He even joined us for a round of shisha and shared some hilarious stories with us. Overall, our stay at Daz Pyramids View Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of amazing. The friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and stunning location all contributed to an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back and stay here again in the future!
Although the room was a bit chilly during our side in the middle of the winter months, a few cans of local stella helped warm us up in no time!
The warm, kind, and generous hospitality of the hotel manager, Hasan, and his staff, Yosef, made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The wonderful view of the pyramids on the rooftop terrace was also a perfect bonus! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Cairo or Giza.
We cannot think of anything we did not like. There is nothing to complain about.
The property is very clean and has a great rooftop terrace with view of the pyramids. The breakfast was traditional Egyptian and delicious. Hassan is a great host and is so helpful in anything you need. The warm welcome was a great start of our trip!
people. still. thigs from my room
no. counter people. at. time. arriving
The staff is friendly, we have to check out quite early, the staff prepare the breakfast for us, in order to make sure we won't feel hungry, so nice of him:)
The towel is not too clean, also the bed as well. The toilet is not in the room, you have to share toilet with other guest. The accommodation is close to the local market, so don't expect that how quiet it would be.
The view on the Pyramids is incredible ! We had the view from the room and there's also one amazing from the rooftop. Toilets were to share with other Rooms but really clean and easy to use. The staff is perfect ! Kind and helpful :)
We were super happy with our stay here. The management is extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. They have us alot of tips about visiting the pyramids, what restaurants to eat at and things to see in the area. And the best part is they didn't put to much pressure on trying to sell you tours. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was super hot, with good pressure. Our breakfast was a delicious falafel, with coffee on the side. The location is nice. Close to the entrance to the pyramids. And you can even see the pyramids from the awesome rooftop, where it is very comfortable to relax. I would definitely come back here if we return to giza.
The noise in our room was really loud from the street. But in my opinion this is not the fault of the hotel.
beautiful room, big space, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, gorgeous view
Wi-Fi a little bit poor
They are not lying about the view. It looks amazing you can stare all day at the pyramids, which looks way better than in pictures and videos. It is something you need to experience for yourself. To eat breakfast here every morning was a gift. This place is a real hidden gem. A very affordable price, the staff will take care of you, the view is surreal, really good AC to escape the heat, and a place to remember forever when you think about Egypt.
Some people may not like the location, because it is in the center of a neighborhood, you can hear cars and music all night and all morning. If you are a light sleeper this might not be for you. Me on the other hand found the sounds very pleasant. You can hear the sounds of the mosque singing for prayers, horns from tuktuks, Arabic music. And right when you step outside of the hotel you are engulfed into the real Egyptian life, which I believe if you are traveling you should see and experience, instead of staying in a comfortable tourist area. Get out of your comfort zone and don't miss this gem hidden in Giza.
I like the area near to the Pyramids plus the staff Hassan،Muna and Rakia. More the Breakfast was Egyptian Breakfast which was a good experience plus they ask you what you need for breakfast so they give a choice to choose what you need in the breakfast otherwise its a Lovely Egyptian Breakfast.
Mostly I like the staff they were wonderful from Hassan (Manger) to Rakia and Muna. Plus the WIFI connection is the best 👌 I have ever Seen In Egypt.
