Netter Empfang im Pub, sehr unproblematisch. Das Guiness war sehr gut, Essen gibt es in Glint nur in fast Food Form. Dafür ein super Café „Rachel‘s“ -sehr zu empfehlen!

Leider sehr viele Spinnweben und nur 1 kleines Handtuch, -für eine Nacht hat es gereicht.

Los dueños. Nos ayudaron con loas fichas de los enchufes, Nos recomendaron un café hermosisima para ir a desayunar y también lugares para visitar. Un encanto.

A very nice place to soend a couple of nights. A very friendly host, good service and good tourist advice. Right in the heart of the very lovable Glin.

It doesn’t say that the en-suite rooms are across the street. They’re actually nicer than the shared bathroom rooms but not above the pub if that’s what you’re looking for

Clean comfortable bedroom and bathroom upstairs in an old fashioned pub. The staff and locals were all very friendly on a rainy afternoon. They all made me feel welcome and comfortable. The proprietor was exceptionally nice asking how I was and provided me with a cuppa and breakfast before I left in morning. Everybody and everything was perfect for my one night stay.

The husband and wife who own it were so lovely. They both took time to chat with us and share wonderful stories of their lives and family and town history. It was our favorite stay on the trip and I wish we could have spent another night with them. The rooms were across the street from the Pub so it was quiet but very convenient to grab a pint. The town is beautiful and there is a great breakfast cafe right down the street.

Watched the football semifinal 2026.07.15 this evening here with the locals. The township and the people that do not cheer for the once dictating regime suits a Taiwanese Swede indeed.

The location was fabulous, located within walking distance of everything Glin had to offer!

Netter Empfang durch den Besitzer im Pub. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Haus der Familie, ein toller Einblick in die Gebäude. Das Zimmer war klein aber fein. Abends im Pub konnte man sich Essen liefern lassen oder mitbringen und wurde gleich in Gespräche eingebunden. Sehr familiär.

Dusche war wenig Wasser und schlecht zu regulieren, Blick auf en Hinterhof, deshalb war es besser die Vorhänge geschlossen zu halten.

We did not actually stay above the pub as it was being renovated.

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir vom Juniorchef freundlich begrüßt, allerdings wirkte er insgesamt eher desinteressiert, was den Eindruck etwas trübte. Die Unterkunft selbst liegt direkt gegenüber des Pubs. Am Abreisetag hatten wir noch die Gelegenheit, die eigentlichen Vermieter kennenzulernen, nette Menschen, die uns noch viele Informationen zu der Umgebung gaben. Das Frühstück wurde in einem kleinen, liebevoll eingerichteten Café nur wenige Meter entfernt serviert. Die Atmosphäre dort war angenehm und das Frühstück wirklich nett hergerichtet. Man konnte aus einer Frühstückskarte auswählen

The owner of the pub and accommodations was so kind and understanding. The rooms above the pub were the family home, and it has been in their since the mid 1800's. Do not expect the Ritz Carlton. Instead, expect some real old-school lodging, friendly people, and great pints.

It's a great place to meet locals and get an immersion of the local culture. Make sure to pack your ear plugs if you want to go to bed early then closing. The owners are great people that make you feel like family

Super accueil un peu brut de coffrage mais les mains au coeur. 5e génération pour gérer le pub, le fils le soir, ses parents le petit déjeuner. Magnifique à voir et belle soirée au pub !! Je recommande pour ceux qui aime être intégrer dans la vie courante 😊

Owner was friendly. Parking was good.

Rooms were not actually in the pub, but were upstairs in a house opposite the pub. There was no hot breakfast. Guests were able to make tea/coffee and toast in a room at the back of the pub. Other cold food items were available. There are no Glin restaurants open in the evening, so guests have to rely on a takeaway.

Er was tot half 2 's nachts muziek en praten te horen uit de bar. We konden daardoor niet slapen. Personeel negeerde ons ongenoegen.

Our host was very friendly, spent time talking with us and sharing thoughts on places to see at our next destination. A lovely man whose company my son and I greatly enjoyed. We didn’t have time to stay for breakfast as we were heading out extra early but he was kind enough to make sure we had coffee available and waiting for us before we departed. The accommodations were comfortable and just what we needed. We enjoyed our stay at Geoghegans Magpie Bar and B&B and hope to return one day.

Lack of evening dining places in the village.

The room I was in was grand and the location is within walking distance of everything in the village. But obviously any where in the village is within walking distance of everywhere else.

The hosts were only concerned about themselves and getting as much money out of guests as possible for as little effort as possible. Everything was done on their time. This place isn't a B&B, they don't do cooked breakfasts, you have to make your own tea or coffee in a kip of a bar that doesn't have any tables only a bar counter. An absolute rip off of a place.

Traditioneller Pub mit Zimmer im Dorf Glin. Haben auf Empfehlung Essen vom Asiaten im Pub verzehrt. Sehr nette, gesprächige Gastgeber (humorvoller Opa und Tochter?). Frühstück ausreichend. Angekündigte Musiker (Festival) im Nachbarpub hängen geblieben. Aber tolle Wahl beim Einspiel irischer Musik. Gute Tipps für Fähre und Road (Clifs).

Man musste durch ein Gästezimmer zum Gemeinschaftsbad. (Keine Gäste!) Haben auf Empfehlung Essen vom Asiaten im Pub verzehrt. Achtung: Man muss die Heizung selbst einschalten - Kippschalter am Verteiler!)

Wonderful stay in an comfortable en-suite room (bedroom and private bath) in the family home across the street from the pub. The 5th generation family owners were welcoming and friendly. Had a great conversation with their son Aaron in the pub and the next day with other members of the family during the continental breakfast at the back of the pub.

Loved the quiet, sunny room and private bathroom. The breakfast included several options to choose from: various cereals, yogurt, ham, cheese, bread, apples, juice, milk, coffee & tea. The owners were engaging and we enjoyed our conversations. They were helpful, kind and had terrific recommendations for dinner and places to visit in the area.

The bed was not very comfortable.

The museum they recommended was great. I highly recommend it.

The town really didn’t have much compared to other towns.

Il titolare è un irlandese simpatico e gioviale.La mascotte del bar, il cane Penny, è favoloso e il padrone gli fa fare una gag e relativa foto con gli avventori. Colazione a buffet semplice ma abbondante. Parcheggio gratuito nella via.

La pulizia della camera non era granché, c'erano parecchie ragnatele e crepe sul soffitto. La camera con moquette odorava di polvere ed essendo una stanza sopra al pub del titolare è abbastanza rumorosa (fino alla chiusura del locale) Il passaggio, per andare al piano di sopra dove c'era la stanza, era dentro il pub quindi nessuna privacy.

Zurück ins 19te Jahrhundert! Zimmer direkt über den Wintergarten! Sehr laut bis spät Morgens; mussten mit geschlossenen Fenster schlafen! Nach 3Uhr morgens war es still! Fenster musste trotzdem geschlossen bleiben, da das alle 15 Minuten eine Lüftung (sehr laut) anging! Frühstück spartanisch! Frisch aus dem Discounter in Original Plastik verpackt!

The rooms were clean, large and modern. We arrived late for the checkin but this was not an issue. Lastly, we had a wonderful chat with the pub's owners, who gave us great suggestions!

Auf der Durchreise durch Zufall auf dieses wunderschöne Pub und Gästezimmer gestoßen. Wurden vom Vater und seinem Sohn sehr freundlich empfangen und umsorgt.

Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant, notre nuit à Geoghegan a été une des plus agréable de notre voyage en Irlande. Nous avons dormi dans les nouvelles chambres, le patron nous a donné des recommandations sur les restaurants et nous avons eu de belles discussions avec le personnel. Petit-déjeuner continental simple et copieux, servi avec le sourire. Nous recommandons !

Chambre assez grande. L'ensemble des chambres a été restauré.

Notre chambre donnait sur la rue face au bar. Nous avons eu droit aux adieux sonores des clients lors de la fermeture à 2h du matin. Nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner dans une petite salle aveugle au fond du bar. Dans cette salle, des étagères contre les murs où nous avons déjeuner (pas de table). Pour le déjeuner, une bouilloire et un grille pain. La propriétaire nous a mis en vrac des poches de pain, des poches de fromage et de jambon d'york plus des carrés de beurre et de confiture industriels. Pour le café, c'était des sachets de Nescafé. Il y avait quelques fruits et quelques yaourts. C'était nettement insuffisant.

The rooms are upstairs in an authentic, family-owned pub in a small Irish village. The place is amazing and full of history. It was a great place to stay!

Frühstück war das schlechteste auf der ganze. Irland Tour. Tische schmutzig Asche vom Vortag noch drauf usw. Auswahl für den Preis sehr schlecht, da könnte man definitiv mehr daraus machen, da der Rest ansonsten gut ist.

My room was off to the side of a busy family kitchen/living room which i felt was very awkward and at times noisy. Iisting said “breakfast included” but it did not say continental breakfast. I would not have booked this room at this price if i knew it was continental breakfast. No restaurants within walking distance only a takeaway.
