Het enige is de steile trap omhoog. Voor ons geen probleem maar als iemand slecht ter been is, is het lastig om boven te komen.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026ein wunderschönes altes typisches Haus liebevoll renoviert (modern und gepflegt). die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und stellen sich individuell auf ihre Gäste ein (Gepäckaufbewahrung vor dem Checkin möglich). das Frühstück ist sagenhaft!! Wir bekamen im Gespräch viele Informationen und Geschichten über Gouda, sehr interessant. das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und ruhig, alles extrem gepflegt. Dank u well, Sandra

Reviewed May 1, 2026Wir haben das B&B gebucht, um Gouda und Freunde zu besuchen. Sandra und ihr Mann sind sehr freundliche, nette und sympathische Vermieter. Schon bei der Anreise haben sie uns geholfen, einen geeigneten Parkplatz zu finden und die Buchung für das nötige Innenstadt-Parkticket übernommen. Man wohnt wirklich sehr schön in der Innenstadt von Gouda. Schon am Abend haben wir uns bei einem Spaziergang das hübsche Zentrum angesehen. Sandra hat uns auch wertvolle Tips für Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Ihr Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und natürlich hat Gouda nicht auf dem Tisch gefehlt. Vom frisch gepressten Orangensaft über Tee und Kaffee, Brötchen, verschiedene Sorten Brot haben wir auch leckere Croissants bekommen. Die Treppe zum Zimmer ist speziell, weil sie recht steil ist. Das wussten wir und es war auch kein Problem. Das liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer und das hübsche Bad befinden sich auf einer Etage. Wir kommen gern einmal wieder nach Gouda und übernachten hier.

On s’y sent immédiatement bien, comme dans un petit nid douillet où tout est pensé pour le bien-être des voyageurs. L’accueil est chaleureux, attentionné et sincère. On se sent comme à la maison dès les premiers instants. Les hôtes, Sandra & Arnaud, sont adorables, disponibles et toujours prêts à partager de précieux conseils pour découvrir la région, les meilleures visites et les bonnes adresses. Le petit-déjeuner est superbe, généreux et délicieux, un vrai moment de plaisir pour bien commencer la journée. C’est un lieu où règne une vraie atmosphère de convivialité. Une adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés à ceux qui recherchent confort, authenticité et un emplacement idéal en plein cœur de Gouda ! Merci encore pour vos délicates attentions.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Sandras B & B ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Hier steckt Liebe in jedem Detail. Das Frühstück ist wie ein Sonntagsfrühstück zu Hause. Man möchte bleiben. Die schöne Altstadt von Gouda ist nur einen kleinen Spaziergang entfernt. Es erwarten einen schöne Häuser, gemütliche Restaurants und Lokale und der Käsemarkt ist ein hübsches Erlebnis. Danke schön, Sandra, dass wir Eure Gäste sein durften.
Wir Best-Ager sind noch gut in Form. Für mobilitätseingeschränkte Menschen fehlt der deutliche Hinweis, dass dieser schöne Ort aufgrund der sehr steilen Treppe zum Zimmer für sie nicht geeignet ist.

Mooie ruime badkamer en heerlijk ontbijt. Gastvrije en gezellig pratende gastvrouw (en gastheer). Zou er zeker nog een keer terug gaan. Ook locatie zo vlak bij het centrum was top.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2025This was a great place to stay in the centre of Gouda in a lovely historic building. The room was lovely, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The morning breakfast was great with a lovely helpful host. We really appreciated the tourist information in the room and followed the walking guide around Gouda. Having under-cover bike parking at the accommodation was also a bonus.
Nothing could have been better but if you have any mobility issues then I would not recommend staying here as the stairs to the room are exceedingly steep.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2025Uitstekende ligging, dicht bij het centrum maar ook een goede uitvalsbasis, bij een paar dagen logeren, om van daaruit met de trein naar Rotterdam, Den Haag, Amsterdam,... te gaan. Geweldig ontbijt, alle faciliteiten op de kamer en niets was ook maar teveel gevraagd aan de vrouw des huizes.

Nothing I didn’t like!!! Just two tips: The staircase is very steep so taking up and down luggage can be tricky so watch your step :) Giving your exact time of arrival is recommended so that Sandra can prepare the room and great you. Everything else is perfect 👌🏼

Reviewed May 8, 2025The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive. She replied my messages in a timely manner. The location was very close to the main town square. Less than 5 min walk and the host provided free parking, a great bonus. The room was nice and large. It has all the amenities needed like kettle, TV, fridge. The host even provided free canned drinks. The breakfast was also very good.
There was not proper signs to indicate the B and B. I was knocking on the wrong door. The stairs leading to the room was extremely steep. Not ideal if you have a large suitcase.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2025It was really nice and prive. Really close to the centre so you can easily go back to pickup or drop some goodies. And the hosts were really amazing, very friendly and extremely helpful. The stairs are a bit steep but just take your time.
Nothing negative to say, just a tip for future visitors. It can be very busy at the better restaurants.

The hosts were really friendly and nice, the breakfast was excellent, and so was the room. Wifi, TV, bed and bathroom were all fine. The only aspect to be aware of is the steep staircase, but this was no problem for us. One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in.

Breakfast was superb and the freshly squeezed orange juice is such a luxury these days. Coffee pods in the room were plentiful and the mini stroopwafels were very welcome. The host was very helpful and the provision of the map and walking tour guide was a really nice touch

There is public parking just under the hotel for 30 eur./day, but a better solution is the parking at REWE supermarket just in the next building for 15 eur./day )it is a bit tight, but OK for a medium-sized car.
Breakfast is too expensive.

The room was very comfortable and well heated and there was a great supply of snacks and tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was delicious and traditionally Dutch.
