Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Tout était préparé par le propriétaire avec amour. Il a été très accueillant nous a même accompagné pour l'achat d'un adaptateur électrique. Il nous a indiqué les plages à découvrir près de Brandon. Je le recommande et j'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Großartiger Gastgeber und tolle Unterkunft. Es wird sich sehr gut gekümmert von Ankunft bis Abfahrt. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit selbstgemchachten Zutaten, das beste Frühstück unserer Irlandreise. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und sauber. Izzy pass auf, dass alles korrekt abläuft 🙂 Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür mit Tor vor der Einfahrt, auf der anderen Straßenseite ein Supermarkt und eine Tankstelle.

Asukoht oli veidi varjatud, esimese korraga sõitsime väravast mööda kuigi Waze näitas täpselt. Maja on peatänava ääres aga magamistuppa ei olnud eriti müra kuulda. Võib-olla oli väsimus suur ja voodi pehme :) Peremees Denis broneeris õhtusöögiks laua linnas ja valmistas maitsva hommikusöögi. Meie jäime rahule.

This place was a little gem! We weren't expecting too much, we just wanted somewhere to put our heads after a hectic communion day with family and we got much more than we needed. The beds were so comfy I think I fully lapsed into a coma, and my Dad (who's not really one to travel far from home at the best of times) had nothing but praise. The amazing breakfast we had the next day was the cherry on top. The owner made us feel very welcome and he runs a tight ship, you can tell. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

I didn't like that I had to go home and sleep in my own bed afterwards, it was very disappointing to return to normal life.

Denis’ house was absolutely lovely. We adored relaxing in the front garden in the evenings. It was evident every element of both the interior and exterior had been picked with care, the result being a unique and beautiful house. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had an assortment of teas and other drinks. Denis is the best host we have ever had at a b&b, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We loved chatting with him and hearing his stories, and if we are ever in Ireland again, we know where we will be staying. Thank you Denis, and thank you Izzy!

The host is absolutely the best. He puts so much effort in hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone that’s looking for the oldschool b&b experience. The place is clean, very beautiful, comfortable and located well.

Dennis, our host could not have been more amenable and helpful. Top notch guy. He was VERY helpful with directions as to where we wanted to go and even drew maps for us and suggested alternate more scenic routes and walked us on two nights to two different restaurants. The breakfast room was excellent and the breakfast was first rate with an excellent choice of everything. Our room was excellent, comfortable and very clean. In conclusion, Dennis could not have made our three night stay any more pleasurable and we have no reservations in giving a 5 star rating.

We had a short but lovely stay in Bandon. Denis was the most charming and devoted host who made us feel at home and gave us many usefull tips for the rest of our journey. We really enjoyed the lovely atmosphere with blooming garden and cute Izzy and cats. Room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast absolutely outstanding.

Our luggage didn't quite fit in the room but Denis offered the next room to store it.

Ganz netter und aufgeschlossener Gastgeber inklusive des Hundes! Das Guesthouse ist gut erreichbar, liegt jedoch am Ortsausgang direkt gegenüber einer Tankstelle. Wenn man allerdings im Hof ist und das Tor schließt, befindet man sich in einem bunten Garten voller Rosen. Es wird ein fantastisches Frühstück gezaubert! Man kann sich von Toast bis hin zum irischen Frühstück alles wünschen. Reisetipps gibt es gratis dazu!

Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sauber!

Slightly dated but very charming

Dennis has to be the best host ever. Simply couldn't do enough and it was genuine kindness. We went out for a day and he loaded us with a flask of tea, cakes, scones and jam. All home made. Breakfast was amazing. Full Irish plus plus Accomodations was spotless Welcome was full on We also got some great local tips on where to go....and we did...and were pleased for the extra trips. Would stay again

Just a bit tricky to find and Dennis has electric gates so can't just pull into the driveway. We phoned and Dennis was there in a flash but some might find it difficult

Diese Unterkunft ist nicht zu übertreffen! Sie ist super sauber und Denis kümmert sich rührend um seine Gäste. Wir haben das Frühstück mit den vielen selbstgemachten Leckereien sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Irland sind. Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage um die Sehenswürdigkeiten an der Südküste zu erkunden.

Denis is an excellent host. Very generous with his time and knowledge of the area. His breakfasts were delicious with lots of choice. Baked treats a big bonus. He prepared a wee picnic for our day out with a flask and baking left from breakfast. Very thoughtful. Very comfortable bed and use of small lounge helpful. The animals are lovely, especially if you love animals. Izzy,the Westie, is a darling. Thank you so much Denis for a wonderful homely stay. All the best. Sandra and Paul

Our host Denis made us very welcome from the off. A cup of tea and some rhubarb tart was lovely.

It was all good.

The house was spotlessly clean and the host incredible warm and welcoming - felt like a close family friend. We were greeted with delicious warm homemade pie and ice-cream and the enthusiasm of beautiful Izzy the dog. The conversation was fun and flowing so much so, we missed our appointment in the morning and left our coffee cup behind. The host went out of his way and drove to where we were heading for our now late appointment with our coffee in tow. The home made breakfast was amazing and plentiful. A stay we will never forget. Thankyou

The heating in the room could have been a little better. We are from the Tropics so in all honesty maybe we are just a little more sensitive to a dip in climate.

Unser Gastgeber Denis ist ein unglaublich freundlicher Mensch, dem das Wohl seiner Gäste sehr am Herzen liegt. Er gibt tolle Tips für die Umgebung und ist ein sehr interessanter, gebildeter und lustiger Gesprächspartner. Wir hatten ein gemütliches Bett, es gab kuschelige Handtücher und das Frühstück wurde nach unserem Wünschen frisch zubereitet. Brot, Muffins und Kuchen backt Denis selbst. Alles ist tipptopp sauber. Ergänzt wird der Haushalt durch seine kleine Hündin Izzy, Katzen, Enten, Hühnern und der wunderbaren Linda, die ihm morgens bei der Arbeit zur Hand geht. Parken kann man direkt am Haus. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Exceptional stay with Denis who was the most welcoming, friendly, and generous host. The room and house were beautifully decorated and super clean, in a peaceful environment behind tall gates. We loved the chats - Denis was so funny, knowledgeable and provided lots of sightseeing tips for our trip, and the recommendations for our drive in the morning were lovely. He booked us in for a great dinner and when we mentioned we were planning to play cards in the evening, he was so kind as to go out of his way to set up the table and prepare tea for us next to the cosy fireplace. The breakfast was delicious and generous including fresh fruit salad and juice, yoghurt, cereals, toast, homemade jams, hot cooked dishes, and homemade brown bread, scones and cakes. To top it off, Denis was so thoughtful and wrapped up and packed the yummy homemade treats for our drive. A truly unforgettable stay with the best, most hospitable and genuine host who went above and beyond in every way, and super sweet dog Izzy. Es ist eine äußerst nette unterkunft mit einem besonders zuvorkommenden Gastgeber. Das Frühstück war auserordentlich gut und es gab sehr viel Auswahl. Die gegend ist auch sehr schön und man kann viele verschiedene Dinge sehen. Der Gastgeber (Dennis) ist sehr höflich und verrät einem auch alle tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung.

It was our first B&B experience, and we absolutely loved it! The host was very welcoming and always ready to help. We had a wonderful holiday and are really happy we met him. The place is perfect if you love animals – there’s a lovely dog and a few cats in the house. You don’t have to interact with them if you don’t want to, but they are truly adorable. Everything was spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping, and breakfast was served at the time of our choice. ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Dennis. He was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Just spending time with him was a highlight of our trip. The food was wonderful, his pets were entertaining, and we felt right at home in his tastefully decorated and comfortable home. He couldn't have been a better host.

Excellent bed and breakfast. Dennis is a perfect host who couldn’t do enough for you. Warm welcome and offered us warm apple pie on arrival. Delicious. We mentioned we were going to have glass of wine and play cards. Dennis kindly offered us the breakfast room table and had set it up with wine glasses and serviettes but also some cheese and biscuits. How kind We stayed in 2 bedrooms with our own bathroom. Super comfy beds and everything you needed Breakfast was amazing So much choice we couldn’t eat it all. We even had some scones and coffee muffins packed for our road trip Would highly recommend

Sehr gute Lage: Geschäfte, Pubs und Restaurants sind fussläufig erreichbar. Die nahe Straße stört nicht und war nachts auch bei offenem Fenster nicht zu hören. Das Einzigartige dieser Unterkunft ist der herzliche Gastgeber Denis, der den Aufenthalt besonders macht.

Nous vous recommandons ce B&B !

Denis nous a accueilli d'une façon très chaleureuse. Il a pris du temps avec nous, sans pour autant être intrusif. Le logement est très propre, le petit déjeuner incroyable. La chambre est bien et la literie très confortable.

The B&B was on the edge of town set back from a main road. Parking was off-road & secure. We had a lovely welcome, & were invited to have a drink & some fruit pie & ice-cream while we chatted with our host & were introduced to the dogs, cats, chickens, ducks etc. Although offered as a suite of 2 bedrooms, we opted to use just the one room, which our host appreciated. The bedroom was small, but comfortable with quality bedding & facilities, although somewhat warm overnight, even with the window open. The overall feeling of the property was a little old-fashioned. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

The bathroom was across the hallway, and in need of some refurbishment.

E su Denny voglio dire altro: è stato uno degli host migliori di sempre, gentilissimo, super preparato (ci ha dato diversi consigli azzeccati). The most caring host waited for us, and treated us with tea and homemade cake on arrival. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, I had homemade soda bread and jams, as well as a full Irish breakfast. The gardens and flowers all around the house were beautiful! The location is peaceful and quiet, in the heart of a beautiful part of Ireland, perfect for exploring different sites and towns along the Wild Atlantic Way!

Our stay at St Martin’s was wonderful. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The beautiful gardens and lovely room were so relaxing. Denis was a wonderful host, making a reservation for us for dinner at a restaurant down the street and waking us there. The room was quiet and restful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you Denis (and Izzy too) for a great stay!! Hope to see you again someday!!

We chose Bandon as we wanted to go to Cork, as part of our tour of Ireland, but didn't want to stay in the city. Bandon is a short distance by bus (30 minutes or so) which was ideal. Denis is a wonderful, friendly, engaging host and his care of us, his guests, cannot be faulted. I can fully understand why guests come back to stay at St. Martin's year after year. His advice on places to go (and avoid) was invaluable. I would highly recommend staying there, as a base for Cork and the beautiful surrounding area. And the bonus is you get to meet Denis and Izzy, his delightful Westie

It was charming and Dennis was lovely. 

Great location on the edge of town for access/parking but only 10 minutes walk into town for pubs and restaurants. Secure parking off road behind a gate but with 24 hour access. Good facilities with two rooms and a bathroom just for our use, as well as use of the lounge/breakfast room if we wanted. The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable on local history (Bandon has a very interesting place in Ireland's history) and places to go/itineraries for sightseeing like nice villages and beaches, along with advice about the best roads to take (and avoid!). Hearty cooked breakfast was very good, but also other options available. House was quiet at night despite being on the main road. Garage/shop across the road (open till 10pm) for supplies and fuel.

Lovely host.beautiful food .

We loved everything about this place. The house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and populated by many sweet cats and an adorable dog; not only it is sparkling clean, but you can tell it is a loved place full of personality. Our bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out in the morning. Our room in general was a little small but in a cozy way, silent, and full of light. Our host is honestly the best one I've ever met in my life and I've travelled a lot: he is a lovely person who really values making his guests as cared for as possible, from his exceptional breakfast (homemade!) to the tea and pies he welcomes you home to after a long day out. Plus, he was full of suggestions on what to visit and told us many interesting stories about Bandon and Ireland. He was the best part of our stay. Location wise, the b&b is at walking distance from Bandon and well connected to Cork and other amazing places; the parking spot in front of the house is a very convenient plus. To summarize, I couldn't recommend Saint Martin's b&b more.

The entrance is beautiful with all the rose bushes, it gave us a good feeling about the place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good . I would definitely recommend St Martins B+B

The cats!!! I am missing my cats so much and chose to stay at St. Martins for the fact he had so many rescue cats.

The rooms were much too cold for our comfort.

The entire property was awesome, a gated front carport filled with beautiful flowers. The host is incredible and friendly as can be. Knowledgeable about the town and insights on what to do or where to go

Denis was the loveliest host. He made sure that we had everything we needed, cooked us delicious breakfasts, and provided advice for our travels. The bonus was meeting Izzy the sweetest pup and his gorgeous cats. The home was a good homebase for our time in Co. Cork.

I had a lovely stay and Denis is an exceptional host. The house is within walking distance of town and the facilities are as described in the adverts. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, fruit juice, cereals, bread, brack and toast even I couldn’t finish everything that was laid out for me. The various pets made the place even more homely and little Izzy always seemed pleased to see me. I would certainly return if back in Bandon.

Fantastic host! Warm, welcoming, chatty, personable--we had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, the food was delicious, the company was lovely, the dog was friendly, there were a bunch of cats on the property, the flowers outside were beautiful, the decor was adorable and interesting to look at...I would recommend this listing to anyone traveling to Bandon, or anyone needing a base to travel to the surrounding region.

i wish I had a map of the location ot Saint Martins.I did not have a smart phone and had to ask directions from the local pizza delivery man!! All part of the adventure. Dennis our host was magnificent. Great breakfast, comfy bed, quiet location. Fantastic rose garden and menagerie.

From the second we arrived we were made to feel at home! Immediately offered a cuppa, then not only recommended somewhere to go eat, but rang and reserved us a table, walked us over and made sure we had a pub that could not only feed us but also be one to watch the football (Euro 2024 England game!). Beds super comfortable, lovely decor throughout. Breakfast was a culinary delight, lovely fresh fruit and yoghurt, plenty of choice of cereals and the best breakfast we had on the trip. We had a lovely chat after before we headed off. Did I mention the friendly house dog too? Guess I have now. Thanks so much, was the best stay of our entire trip!

Very warm welcome from Dennis and Izzy the dog, we were offered a drink on arrival, which was lovely and even something to eat if we had wanted it. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout, our bed was very comfy and the shower was powerful and hot. Dennis made a reservation for us at a local restaurant and even walked us there with the dog, to make sure we got there. Breakfast was really good, all cooked fresh to order using good quality food and nicely presented. We met the ducks , chickens and cats who also live there. The location is good, only a short drive from Kinsale. We would definitely recommend staying here ,it was wonderful.

We were warmly welcomed by our host, Denis. We chatted for quite a while. Breakfast was superb. Denis checked with us on a few occasions to make sure we had enough of everything. Our fry was cooked to perfection. The decor was impressive with a great attention to detail. There was a great sense of security as the property is enclosed by a gate. The surrounds are beautifully kept with a lovely garden full of flowers and plants. As we were heading to a wedding nearby the following morniing and couldn't access our hotel pre-wedding Denis kindly allowed us to return to the premises after check-out time to change and get ready. It was much appreciated with an offer of a cup of tea thrown in. Would highly recommend this property.

There was nothing to not like. The bedroom doesn't have an en suite but the bathroom is just a few steps away. As there was no one staying in the other room it was not an issue.

Everything was perfect… the beautiful house - inside & out, super friendly host & the cutest little co-host (Izzy the dog). Dennis & Izzy made us feel super comfortable… it was liking talking with an old friend. We chatted so much I almost forgot we had to leave! Was really a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!!

Loved the warm and welcoming host! Denis was terrific and extended a very warm welcome especially since I was arriving a little late. The two rooms offered privacy between guests.

Accidently missed the accommodation gates and pulled into the house two doors down. Maybe a more visible sign but wasn't a problem in the end.

The host, Dennis, was so friendly and accommodating, even getting us seats at a local restaurant at the last minute. My child loved the animals on site, which made the stay all the more charming. Animals are clearly not present in the rooms as the rooms are clean and pristine.
