Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Aoife and Greg were the kindest warmest couple. They were so generous. It felt like we were staying with family. The views from our room were spectacular. Everything about our lodging was comfy and pristine. Our breakfast had unique special little touches like a bird shaped lemon squeezer. Our favorite lodging during our month long trip!
What’s not to like. It’s a 2 km hike into town, but a picturesque walk.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Deze B&B was zeer goed gelegen in de buurt van the cliffs of Moher. De lieve gastvrouw zorgde voor een lieve bediening tijdens het ontbijt en gaf raad omtrent onze uitstappen. De kamer was zeer proper en net ruim genoeg voor 5 volwassenen. Er was ruime parking voor de wagen.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, geräumiges Zimmer mit kleinem Bad. Es gab die Möglichkeit sich Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer zuzubereiten. Es war alles sehr sauber und die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, 2 Autominuten von Doolin entfernt. Aoife war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, die uns mit Infos und Tipps versorgte und uns jeden Morgen ein hervorragendes Frühstück zubereitete. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Lodge uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025The host was so warm and kind, helped us feel like we had a local friend giving us tips for our visit. Lovely breakfast, she really cares. Greeted us warmly on arrival and our place was conveniently located. Really enjoyed our visit and loved their cute little dog.
Everything was great, no complaints. Be prepared to have cash for breakfast.

It's also only a couple of miles to a small town with a couple of great pubs for dinner. The host is super friendly and very helpful with suggestions for things to do nearby or on the way to wherever you're headed next. She also makes a very nice breakfast. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025Wir hatten ein großzügiges Familienzimmer, also reichlich Platz für zwei Personen, mit bequemen Betten, ein schönes Badezimmer und die Möglickeit, im Zimmer Kaffee/Tee zuzubereiten. Auf Wunsch gibt es ein gutes Frühstück im Haus. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, um die umliegenden Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. Sehr gute Pubs mit gutem Essen und Livemusik im nahen Doolin, die als ausgedehnter Spaziergang auch fußläufig erreichbar sind.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2025I loved the location of O'Leary's Lodge! This B&B is situated within the beautiful rolling hills near Doolin. The quietness was soul-soothing for the urban traveler!
This comment should not detract from the exceptional welcome we received, nor the wonderful quality of this space, but I did notice it was easy to hear other guests in their rooms. The sound does travel easily, so this may be an awareness point for families traveling with small children. Sometimes, our little people's excitement may wake other guests.

Everything was great, tbh. During my stay, I can only say that I needed to iron my shirt, but I couldn't find it in the room we stayed in. I am sure if I had asked the reception, they could have helped me.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2025Aoife was a font of knowledge and recommendations for our visit to Doolin and the Burren - this was a huge bonus! We took nearly all of her recommendations and this really made our time well spent. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and the property was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the family room worked well for the four of us.
We loved our time at O'Leary's. Be prepared to have to drive into Doolin, but it's only a few minutes.
