Las Aguas Inn

Tutto bene

comfortable bed. room is as pictured

the cafe only opened much after 8 on at least 2 of the 3 days. Once open, they initially said breakfast couldn't be served because the cook wasn't there. on insisting a bit got coffee and pastries. I fully understand unexpected circumstances happen but a more pleasant and clear communication would be tremendously valuable. Door to street can be tricky to open.

Super Nett, alles bestens.

Propre et confortable. Bien situé. Resto adjacent, vraiment ment bien.

Room was stylish as were the common areas. I was greeted by a friendly owner who was very helpful.

So very noisy as my room fronted the main street with very noisy vehicles and motorbikes passing by at all hours of the day and night. Also on the first night there was a rowdy crowd of people in the street which meant I found it VERY difficult to sleep. At 3am all hell let loose when sirens went off, Blue lights flashing right outside my room, shouting in the street, dogs barking loudly, noisy traffic increased. It went on for over half an hour and then I found it almost impossible to sleep afterwards.

Super friendly staff and very nice breakfast at their coffee next door

I was given street room - super noisy - woken up at 6 or earlier every day. Ask for back room. My late check in didn’t work at all.

The staff is great, really nice breakfast and close to La Candelaria.

The bathroom needs more attention.

Great location within La Candelaria district. Great fresh breakfast offered. Friendly staff & helpful. Room was great. Very clean & safe.

Nothing.

Zimmerservice

Very central location, minutes away to La Candelaria. Tiny hotel with lovely and welcoming staff, the cafe where they serve the breakfast has great vibes.

Loved the location & the amazing Cafe Freddie as part of this hotel that served a full breakfast included as part of the stay & they also had great lunch options & cocktails... simply amazing. The rooms are lovely & the hotel is a historic house which gives it a a lovely ambiance!

Would have liked a remote control for the TV was was easier to operate as the volume could not be decreased at all. As well it would be helpful to have the main access door to Open easier as it is individual access via a Fob & must turn the knob on door to open and is is very difficult to turn & it becomes unsafe at night if unable to open.

Location was great. The staff was lovely when you could find them. The breakfast was really good

The room was really cold and there was only a tiny heater to warm it. It was extremely noisy, we could hear even people coughing in other rooms.

Second visit to this Hotel was here in February, Very clean Hotel, good bedding, clean towels and one of the few Hotels of South America with face towels... Coffee shop is great. I like the location near the 19 and la Candelaria..

Minor things bathroom lights when shaving and tiles in the shower get very slippery when wet a safety bar and/or shower mat would be safer

Really good location, staff very friendly and bathroom facilities were very nice!

We were told that breakfast opened at 8am - we went down at that time and nobody was there, we waited until 8.30am and then decided to have breakfast in town instead. It was frustrating as we had breakfast included but didn’t actually get it!

La atención, la decoración y el desayuno

The room was very comfortable and had heating and sufficient space to store our luggage. The staff we dealt with were very helpful and obliging. The Breakfast in the cafe next door which is included with the price of the room is very generous. Close to and walking distance to all the interesting sites in the La Candelaria district.

We were at the front of the building so the nightclub a few doors down is audible at night

Cute place in the middle of Bogotá. Enormously friendly stuff (especially the barista). The rooms were very clean and well equipped. All in all a great place to stay for a short city trip.

The temperature during our stay was very low, so we felt a bit cold. The heating could be improved.

I like small places. The renovation from house to bed and breakfast is so tasteful (it looks just like the pictures). The price is so reasonable. I like cats. Having Freddie’s, which is open to the public, as part of the building is great for breakfast (see my pic). It is near all the places I wanted to see: museums, Plaza de Bolivar, Monserrate. Longo’s, Pasteleria Florida, Emilio Gastrobar to name three eateries.

The area has some sketchy people, as does all of the historic center. Just be alert.

Next to middle of vibrant town, money vs quality

the water from the shower was splashing everywhere, a bit cold. Cofee machine was broker for 2 days /4

Real Boutique Hotel , super Clean all throughout the Property inside and outside .Top Quality Bed and Bedding, plenty of electrical sockets exactly where needed, luxury & elegant feel this Hotel was planned with real passion in all aspects, the staff is professional and friendly... Vienna style Café at ground floor ..Location is great just 1 block from calle 19 so taxis available 24H just short 1 min. walk... I USUALLY book at Hotel Dann nearby sometimes interbogota and when in need the O... because of the Shakira show all hotels I love were booked tried some of my favorites North parque 93 the were also filled up ..... My new favorite is definitely Las Aguas INN...

Nothing major but I like having a fridge in my room

Perfect location, nice personal and great and delicious breakfast. And of course the 2 cats Mila and Salvatore 😻

Noise in the street (hopefully earplugs offered in the room) and no hot water when we arrived the first day.

Sweet place. Good communication with Duvan before I arrived & he was helpful throughout. Two lovely cats! Comfortable room. Good breakfast in Café Freddie next door. Good location, an easy walk to La Candelaria etc.

It was noisy. I think the noise came from the café next door? This is Colombia and loud music is everywhere but…

Very nice space! We stayed in a room not on the street side, so we had no issues with street noise. The location is excellent for walking around, very close to many things. Two very friendly cats as well!

Our room overlooked the kitchen. Staff were cleaning/prepping and could very easily be heard, sometimes later into the night. We used ear plugs and had no issues sleeping - bring ear plugs just in case! Also bed is on the firmer side and close to the ground. This was not a negative for us, but a good to know for others.

The Beds were comfy and having my own bathroom I enjoyed

Breakfast was in the lovely Freddie's cafe and was excellent every day. Room was basic but perfectly suitable for a value city centre stay.

The area is noisy as it is close to the centre of Bogota. We could smell smoke from our room on a few occasions.

Rooms were ok, Hall and restaurant great

Location was not that great, lonely neighborhood and strange people coming and going on the streets

The staff were so friendly and kind, really helpful and lovely. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we loved the Cafe Freddie and all the great music! We loved the room, the bed was very comfortable. We were in room 7 and had a bath which was a really bonus, our room was really quiet. The whole place has lovely decor and 2 cats which are full of character and very friendly. Good location easy to walk to all the main attractions! The wifi was more than strong enough for everything we needed. It had a good tv with Netflix.

My partners mum was in room 5 and this room was a quiet noisy from 5am onwards and particularly noisy from 6am but on the other hand it was one of the nicest rooms. This probably wouldn't bother a lot of people, especially if you get up early, but if it does avoid this room. My mum was in room 6 and she hard it a lot less.

Good location, great breakfast, value for money and friendly English speaking staff

Nothing really accept if your room is on the street side it is a little noisy up to midnight

Very friendly staff, premium exquisite delicious breakfast 😋 as many others have also noted here... Everything I had on my list to visit in Bogota during 2 days is in walking distance (Museo del Oro, Botero museum, Monserate, Candelaria etc.)

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent for visiting the sights of Candelaria. The chef prepared excellent and innovative breakfasts..

Great location near La Candelaria but removed from a lot of the hustle and bustle of downtown

The rooms were clean but very basic and any noise from the hallway was easily heard

Breakfast was awesome. Jose was amazing and forthcoming. In two days we needed early breakfast because of the early all-day excursions and it wasn't a problem for him to prepare it for us. Cozy room, close to museums and restaurants. There was also a radiator in the room and I'm so glad because of it. We were there in April and it wasn't very warm, so this helped.

Well, what was a little bit of a problem is that there was no one to welcome us who speaks English. However, the staff was very responsive in online communication and Google translate helped for live communication.

breakfast nice ... best one on the entire trip set up, rooms designed nicely staff verry friendly close to all mayor sites in bogota

rooms on the street side are suited only for deaf people - i think far too loud - ear pluggs helped a bit - on the next day i could change to another room not facing the street ... this was good

Very well located, lovely deco, one feels home. Bar Freddie serves great pastry and juices. A special mention to the staff and the breakfasts 😍

We ordered a taxi for 06:45 at the Inn, to bring us to the airport. At 07:00 it wasn't there yet, so we had to find one on the street but there weren't many.

The room itself is very stylish, equipped with a comfortable bed and big smart TV. The bathroom is very modern and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. There are also 2 friendly cats that live on the premises. Great and safe location for exploring the historic city (Candelaria) on foot (easy walk to the Montserrat Teleferico, the Museo del Oro, and restaurants in Candelaria). Great breakfast.

a little bit noisy street outside, windows are very thin and don't protect against the noise at night.

Fantastic staff and delicious brekfast !!!!

Everything was qool!

Great location, extremely helpful staff, very tasty and thoughtful breakfasts. Everyone goes out of their way to please, which is why we will be returning to this hotel for our last 3 nights in Colombia. Highly recommended.

Location, staff, coffee, breakfast, comfy bed.

Very stylish, comfortable accommodation, and being able to use the kitchen was a huge bonus. Nothing was too much trouble for the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Great and safe location for exploring the city on foot. Fabulous home cooked breakfast. We hope to go back.

Close to historic. town center. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Jose. Chic decor.

From beginning to end Hermes our host , was so helpful and charming . Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is both quirky and charming . The views are some of the best you’ll ever get to see . Enjoy and candle lit supper overlooking the mountains ahead . My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommended it to every type of traveller

The hotel is on a main road, but it didn’t impact our stay.

I really liked the property a lot. Very cozy and very pretty. Walking distance to the center.

Awesome breakfasts, nice interior design, friendly staff, good WiFi.

There's a very noisy street outside, windows are very thin and don't protect against the noise at night.

Location, decor, cleanliness, staff, breakfast

Nada

Wow! We did not expect such a nice hotel. Starting from the pre-stay communication - super professional, super friendly! Our check-in quite late in the night - fast and without any bureaucracy. The room itself is very stylish, equipped with a super comfortable bed and big smart TV. The bathroom very modern and clean. The breakfast just mind-blowing. Fresh fruits, artisanal honey, awesome Omelett, fantastic coffee. We loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay for another night. They even honoured our original rate. Fantastic hosts, feels like family!

This is an amazing place. I usually stay in hostels so I am very picky with hotels and feel they are usually not worth the price but Las Aguas inn was even better than I expected. The place is lovingly decorated, nice products in bathroom, a smart TV and really comfortable bed. There is even a small heater you can use at night. It's 10 min walk from gold museum. The best part is the breakfast which is handmade for you every morning and is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, I actually didn't even need to eat the rest of the day. The price is worth it just for this.

I asked for a takeaway breakfast on the last day but it wasn't there in the morning and there is no reception to ask, my Spanish is bad so probably a miscommunication.

The staff was helpful and friendly, and live on the premises. The rooms and building are cute and feel recently updated. They gave great recommendations and own the coffee shop/bar next door so you can take drinks to your room if you want and the breakfast was what was being sold that day. (Try the quiche!) The location is great for tourism, as you’re able to walk to museums, Monserrat, and La Candelaria amongst others. There are also 2 friendly cats that live on the premises. The coffee shop and decor is all Freddie Mercury themed, so expect to hear a lot of Queen.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it’s an old building without much insulation, so it was noisy. My room had a window on the indoor courtyard and I could hear every conversation taking place. (It didn’t bother me at all, but if you are a light sleeper this might not be ideal.) For accessibility purposes, it’s important to note that there is at least one room on the first floor, but the only way into the property is up 3 steps and the beds are very low to the ground.

N/A

Beautiful, comfortable, clean. It was like been home 🫶🏽

Everything I liked everything including the 2 cats, we have a very good breakfast, the towels N blankets like the personal ones and decorations 👌🏽

Wonderful, helpful staff. Beautiful decorated house and cosy atmosphere. Delicious breakfast.

Nothing

The hosts were very generous in accommodating our request to store our large bag and make sure we were able to pick it up even though they were out of town at the time. It's a homey, comfortable spot that's an easy walk to the Teleferico, the Museo del Oro, and restaurants in Candelaria.

Everything was great. (Last time we complained about the pillowcases, but the hosts replaced them.)

The owner and manager were extremely friendly and helpful and had good recommendations about where to eat. The shower was great. It's a homey and welcoming place.

The fuzzy pillowcases were weird.

Great location relative to centre of Bogotá and La Candelaria. Restaurants aplenty nearby. Decor of hotel and room really elegant and comfortable. Stayed 1 night but easily could have stayed on, good short-term stay option when on business or leisure. Tried public transport and it worked excellently, very near hotel.

All good

The hosts were very welcoming, the coffee was fantastic and it's a very beautiful space.

The best Hotel I stayed in during my trip through Colombia. Service is excellent (the morning coffee is very tasty), everything spotless clean, mattress is super comfy and the hot shower is divine! I had a room to the yard and it was very quiet (everything looks exactly like the photos which are on the booking.com website). La Candelaria and a lot of the sightseeing spots and museums are in walking distance. I highly recommend staying in Las Aguas Inn

It was perfect, absolutely nothing to complain about.

The property is beautiful - has a classic yet modern minimalist look. Looks just like the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable. The room included a private bathroom. Location was close to Monserrate and La Candelaria and about a 25 minute car ride from the airport. The host was very nice and responded to my messages quickly. He was even able to accommodate an early check in for us. The bed and blankets were comfortable. We were able to sleep well because it’s not on a loud street.

The room was a little small but it still worked well for my husband and I who were exploring Bogota for the first time. Room was a bit chilly (in February so it was expected), but a small space heater was included in the room and the blankets were fluffy and warm.

Excellent value for a great location, comfortable room, with fantastic hot shower (including strong water pressure), solid wifi (which I needed for some video calls for work), and super delicious coffee, which the kind and generous staff make for you in the morning. Enjoy your stay!

Our room was comfortable and nicely furnished and we liked the modern – industrial decor. The entire property was very clean and quiet. It’s also well located, only an eight minute walk from the central pedestrian strip. The manager and his assistant were very friendly and we enjoyed our conversation with them over coffee in the morning. And the coffee is delicious!

The hotel is on the relatively busy street, and noisy sometimes, but it was quiet at night and we could sleep comfortably.
