Reviewed Sep 8, 2026It is a unique property in the middle of an ancient residential neighborhood in Akko. There is a certain feeling of uncertainty of safety as you walk through the narrow, sometimes dark alleyways to get to the property. Nothing happened and perhaps the feeling is unfounded, but was present for me.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026המלצה חמה מכל הלב על "ג'וזפין אירוח בעכו העתיקה התארחנו במקום הקסם הזה ונהנינו מכל רגע. המקום מעוצב בסגנון ערבי אותנטי, יפהפה, נעים ומשרה אווירה רגועה ושלווה במיוחד. הניקיון פשוט מושלם. השקט והרוגע שיש במקום, בלב עכו העתיקה, הם פשוט נכס. המיזוג נפלא, הקלחת נקייה וזרם מים פשוט תענוג, כמו גם המיטה והחדר המרווח! תודה ענקית למיקי שהיה זמין, ואכפתי מאוד שיהיה לנו אירוח המושלם. מומלץ בחום רב לכל מי שמחפש פנינה אמיתית ואיכותית בעכו!

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026כבר בסימטה הייתה התרגשות, הדלת הבורדו עוררה סקרנות. מיד בכניסה הייתה תחושה של בית אותנטי במרוקו. כל אחד מהחדרים היה מאובזר ומעוצב ברוח המקום. מקלחות נהדרות . חוייה מאד מיוחדת, בכל פעם שהסתובבנו בסמטאות, כשחזרנו לג׳וזפין הייתה השתאות. מאד מומלץ, נשמח לחזור שוב בקיץ גם בגלל הקרבה לים.

Miki was incredibly responsive, helpful, and fair throughout our entire stay, which made everything so easy and pleasant. The rooms are well organized and beautifully designed in a cozy, comfortable, and welcoming way. Although the location is a bit far from parking, it is perfectly situated near everything in the Old City. All in all- a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

The rooms are spacious and full of character, set within an original historic stone building that truly immerses you in the spirit of Akko. The central patio is a dream! It is perfect for relaxing over an afternoon coffee with family and friends while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. The location couldn’t be better: quiet and serene, surrounded by kind and welcoming neighbors, yet just steps away from Akko’s vibrant old city, market, and attractions. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Villa Josefin is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience!

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025הכניסה למתחם הצימרים ( פטיו) והחדר מעוצבים בטוב טעם ומשתלבים עם קירות האבן והתקרות הגבוהות, נראה שכל פינה בחדר זכתה לתשומת לב מיוחד.האווירה במקום היא שקטה ונעימה. המיקום מצויין ומאפשר הליכה רגלית קלילה לכל האתרים בעכו העתיקה וכמובן מאוד קרוב לים. המיטה מאוד נוחה וגם הכריות. היתה לנו קצת בעיה עם פתיחת הדלת ועם הפעלת הטלויזיה. פנינו לבעלים וקבלנו מיד עזרה. מאוד ממליצה.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025הזמנו את כל 4 החדרים. זו כבר פעם שנייה שמזמינים את כל המתחם. פעם אחת בפורום של 4 זוגות חברים והפעם בפורום של משפחה מורחבת. כל חדר יותר יפה מהשני. החדרים מרווחים ורואים שהשקיעו בעיצוב החדרים ובמתחם כולו. המיטה ענקית ומפנקת. יש כל מה שנדרש כדי לא לצאת מהמתחם. המיקום מעולה - 10 ד מהחומות, מהים, מהנמל והמסעדות. 15-20 ד מכל האתרים והאטרקציות.של עכו העתיקה. בקיצור - לא השתמשנו ברכב בסופש. לא צריך לבקש יותר. בטוח שנבוא שוב .... תודה על הכל.
את המזג אויר שהיה חם באותו סופ"ש.... מזל שהיה מזגן מעולה.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2023Miki was so forthcoming in his explanations that, by the time I arrived at Jozefin, I was completely prepared for what I was going to experience. The surroundings are so authentic, so different from what I am used to and so welcoming! The room was extremely comfortable and the Jozefin complex in general is like a lovely little oasis in the middle of a bustling Middle Eastern Old City.

Reviewed Jul 28, 2023it was a pretty space and nicely decorated. there were 4 spaces to sleep.
this room is a separate entrance but connected to someone’s private home. I could hear the children - late night whistling toys, footsteps of a small child or children running (our ceiling, their floor) at very late hours (like 1 am). also the parking situation was not very clear. the owner told us where to park but when I asked if I had to pay for parking there (public lot) she said they don’t usually check. some guy scammed us into paying him because I wasn’t sure but he was not a legitimate he was just taking advantage because the parking was full. there was a nice Nescafé machine but no milk for the coffee. the 2 beds beside the big bed were thick cushions. when we set them up we were not able to walk the beds were all side by side. not a big deal for a night but just so you know the scale. also old Akko was more run down than I expected. I would recommend to the owner to put in some usb chargers.

Reviewed Feb 15, 2023The room was really in the centre of the city, difficult to find, but really in the middle. The room had a lot of charm, constructed into an old building. Check-in was flawless, no contact required. We were able to access without any further questions. If we would have known, we would have stayed 1 night longer. We were able to leave our luggage longer in the courtyard, which was nice.
There is not alot to say. Maybe the suggested breakfast locations were too far away by food. The room lis abit cave-like without any view. That wasn't a problem though, because we were exploring.

Reviewed Dec 6, 2022Super clean, super comfortable, and a far better value than most other hotels we have stayed in during our trip to Israel. Small touches like comfortable pillows, full size towels, a nice TV, coffee/ tea/ water in the room are so appreciated. I suspect Akko will be extremely developed in the next 10 years and that properties like these will be 3x as expensive soon. Book now and have a wonderful time while you still have the chance.

Reviewed Nov 30, 2022Mike was an incredible host. He greeted us like family and made sure we had everything we needed. He went out of his way to make it an unforgettable stay. The room and property was so Incredibly beautiful, the shower was fantastic and water pressure was great. It was in a perfect location to explore akko too. The bed was big and comfortable, the room spacious and had everything we needed. The towels were luxurious and the decor was great too. There’s a beautiful outdoor courtyard with a grill and a stove and games to sit and play.
Everything was amazing. Not a thing I didn’t like!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2022This was the best experience we had during our trip in Israel. The host were super communicative and helpful, he sent us recommended activities before our arrival. The room was amazing, quiet , beautiful and unique. The bed was amazing and we were very happy with the coffee machine in the room. Will recommend everyone to come here and I'll definitely be back for my second stay in Jozefin.

The noise from the upstairs flat until after midnight each night. Only 1 loo roll provided for 2 people for 3 nights. They cleaned the first morning and not the second morning. There was no where to hang cloths. No chair provided to sit. The shower hadn’t been properly cleaned and the fitted bed sheet was very wrinkled. Our luggage was sand covered from the stone walls as they hadn’t been properly treated. It was a lot of money for what it was.
