Reviewed May 4, 2026We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 12 on Tindall. We were very warmly welcomed by Stacey who was on hand if needed but totally unobtrusive. The property is stunning with everything you could wish for and the breakfast was amazing. Everything about our stay totally exceeded our expectations. Stacey's attention to detail is unbelievable. We're already planning a return visit. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Only gripe would be that the cafetière was a single cup one making it a faff to prepare. Instant coffee whilst provided, doesn’t quite hit the spot if you’re a coffee person. Sorry 😕.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Die Gastgeberin hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert und gute Empfehlungen gegeben. Das Auto konnte sicher im Innenhof geparkt werden. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und mehr als ausreichend. Gleich um die Ecke gibt es ein gutes Restaurant. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Leider hörte man nachts Geräusche von anderen Personen im Haus

The location is beautifully quiet and peaceful, surrounded by lush green trees, fruit trees, and an abundance of birdlife—truly a nature lover’s dream. The loft itself was spacious, luxurious, and far exceeded our expectations. It had every amenity one could need and was filled with stunning décor and thoughtful little details that made the space feel special and welcoming. Tracey, the owner, was incredibly warm and friendly. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we had known her for years. Her hospitality was exceptional—she personally prepared a delicious breakfast for us, which was such a treat, and even sent us off with homemade banana bread for the road.

The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfy. We appreciated the extras offered ie the biscuit jar, water and welcoming drink. The breakfast was meticulously arranged on a tray and was delicious. The slices of homemade banana bread for our onward journey was very thoughtful.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Het is echt geweldig goed. Je merkt aan alles de aandacht van Shirley. Mooi ingerichte en ruime kamer, heerlijk bed en prima douche. Een mooie grote tuin en bij de kamer een privé terras. Ik kom zeker terug. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk met een verse croissant, yoghurt, fruit etc. En dan krijg je ook nog zelfgebakken bananenbrood mee.

All the basics also matched or exceeded our high expectations (bed comfort, hot shower, cleanliness, etc). McGregor also happens to be an absolute gem of a little town.

Stacey was professional and attentive without being intrusive. She freely offered advice on the surrounding area, local eateries and what we should include in our “must see” list! We were quite frankly blown away, everything exceeded our expectations. Excellent breakfast made mostly from locally sourced fruit and ingredients.

The cottage was very well appointed, the breakfast was really great, with lovely little touches ( banana bread for padkos on our trip). It's set in a beautiful garden off a quiet street but just a couple of minutes walk from the main street and the restaurants and shops.

We were warm, cozy and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was the cherry on the top and the fact that we were sent off with plant clippings, absolutely delighted my mom. Will definitely return and would not even look elsewhere. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
