Location is excellent, rooms were spacious and well-appointed, quiet, good quality window coverings, breakfast was excellent

No parking, shower had strong moldy for, coffee maker didn’t work

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was fabulous, with an amazing variety of choices to suit everyone. The location was perfect — we could easily walk to everything, which made exploring so convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was phenomenal, beautifully appointed and filled with thoughtful amenities that made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience. We wouldu happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Gemütliches B&B mit außergewöhnlichem Restaurant. Das Lagom Townhouse liegt zentral in Kenmare, Geschäfte und Pubs liegen direkt an der Haustür. Das B&B ist an ein hochwertiges Restaurant angegliedert, das sich erfreulich von den üblichen Pub-Gerichten unterscheidet, aber trotzdem in der Tradition der lokalen Küche bleibt.

We have been to several places across Ireland and Brendan and Liz Byrne's Lagom Restaurant and guesthouse in Kenmare was hands-down my favorite. Chef Byrne's breakfasts (Omlettes or French toast and bacon with apple syrup) and especially dinners (slow cooked braised short ribs or daily seafood catch) is a fine dining experience. But his approachable nature makes this stay a unique experience.

There is very little to dislike.

Great sized room and bathroom, location was super for walking into town and around the harbour. It was clean, light and modern. On street parking right outside (but it was mid September). Best breakfast on our trip!

Noise from room above us, you could hear every step, ask for top floor room, I'm sure it'd be worth the extra flight of stairs 😉

Brendan, the owner, was extremely hospitable and helpful, the room was spacious and bed really comfortable, breakfast was excellent. It was exceptionally good value for money.

The rooms are large however there is no dresser or table in the room. Breakfast was not very good, especially the coffee.

Very comfortable bed & large room. Great having the bathroom slightly separate. Fantastic location in the middle of town. Breakfast was very nice & great options. Great having a small fan for the warmer nights.

There was an emergency light in our entrance hallway to our room which gave off a green light & lit up the room all night.

The breakfast was exceptional, everyday was great. The food was the best we had. We also had dinner nthere, the food is marvelous

The room was uncomfortably warm but they are working on it. Other than that everything was nice. The bed and linens were wonderful. The people working there were all incredibly kind and attentive.

Everything was excellent. We had a short stay of one night, we could not fault anything.

The property was lovely in a very central location. The actual room was well appointed, however with the heat in Ireland it was very hot and the only fan provided really had no use to allow an enjoyable nights sleep.

The room was very hot, making sleep difficult despite a very comfortable bed.

Very noisy. Room faced a road that was loud. Needed earplugs to sleep. Breakfast was served starting at 8:30am. We left a little after 7 am. At checkin we asked for a piece of bread or a piece of fruit but the person that checked us in couldn’t get us anything.

Most beautiful room. Very comfy bed and lovely shower facilities. Lovely touches like espresso machine, little chocolates on arrival and gorgeous big towels in bathroom. Large room with lots of space. Breakfast was gorgeous, and there was lovely pleasant girl working there in the restaurant each morning. We can't wait to come back, and would recommend this beautiful accommodation to anyone.

Everything was perfect. Only small downside was that we were in the top floor, so the heat there was overbearing due to the unusually warm weather we got (won't complain about that!). 1 fan was in the room and we were so grateful for that, but maybe suggest 1 more fan if 2 people in room. This is not a 'dislike' as we loved staying here,' but more of a suggestion in the unusually warm weather.

Room was very hot. Had one very small fan. Would be good to have a larger fan that is mounted - maybe a ceiling fan if possible.

We absolutely loved it here. Room was simple but lovely and comfortable, we had dinner in the restaurant downstairs which was incredible, and breakfast was just as good. We will definitely be back.

The location is superb, right on the main street. The room was big, spotlessly clean and had all necessary facilities including luxury towels and an espresso machine. The breakfast was excellent and the young lady who served us was just lovely.

It was very central. Property was spotless and very comfortable bed. Liz our contact gave us our check in details.

One thing I would suggest is to mention that the bedroom keys/lockboxes are in the green box on the wall at the top of first stairs. It is the same colour as the wall so we missed it on the way up but copped it on the way back down.

Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment excellent: choix, qualité et fraîcheur des produits, saveurs, quantités: nous étions ravis. La situation géographique nous a également permis de profiter de Kenmare à pied: à deux pas des pubs animés, restaurants, live music et boutiques sympas

Malheureusement, une odeur de 'renfermé' et d'humidité était assez présente.. et en effet, dans la salle de bains, de petites tâches de moisissures commencent à apparaître. Quel dommage!

Enjoyed the breakfast included, lots of choices. Great location with lots of nice shops and pubs with music. Parking limited on the street but a large free parking lot a nice walk from hotel. A great early starting point to continue the Ring of Kerry clockwise by car on our check out day. We were able to avoid heavy traffic and didn’t meet any buses on the road!
