The host went above and beyond to meet our needs. She was the best host ever, she even made next level dinner when we got back from hospital. Everything was simply the best

Whenever our team is in Johannesburg, they always request to stay at Elonda B&B. Our technicians have consistently had a great experience and have shared the following feedback: Lovely and welcoming place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing food, especially the breakfast. Very accommodating when our technicians need to check in late. A great place to relax and unwind after a long day of work. Comfortable beds and a good night’s rest. Overall, one of the best places our team has stayed — it really feels like a home away from home. We really appreciate the hospitality and excellent service provided by the team at Elonda B&B. It has become our preferred accommodation whenever our technicians are working in Johannesburg.

I was spoiled with a chocolate on my bed and some biscuits with my coffee. The rooms are so spacious, clean and well equipped.

We zijn zeer vriendelijk door de host Ellenette ontvangen en ze is een prima host die veel voor haar gasten doet. Kamer was prima aan het zwembad en in de tuin kon je heerlijk zitten. Goede veilige omgeving met goede eetgelegenheden in de nabijheid. En een uitstekend ontbijt verzorgd door Ellenette. Je hebt wel een auto nodig. Zeker een plek om terug te komen.

Nothing! Worst place ever, the host is very dishonest and she did not open the gate for us because it was raining and we called her 12 times and she didn’t pick up after travelling for hours!

She is a very dishonest honest with integrity, made me call her over 10 times and we waited by her gate for so long spending extra money in an uber and she didn’t respond. Ended up having to get an emergency accommodation imagine if no housing were available!

Lovely stay at Elonda B&B. It had everything I needed for a short visit — thoughtful touches like a tea tray with cookies and a white fluffy gown made it extra special. Conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood, I especially enjoyed the beautiful garden and relaxing by the pool with a book. Would happily stay again!

My stay always feel as if I am home. You are always welcomed with a big smile.

Ellenette was amazing, it honestly felt like we were going home to our grandma after being on the road for a long time. The rooms and bathrooms were cozy and clean. Thanks for your great hospitality and an amazing stay Ellenette, we will definitely be visiting again.

The parking is a bit cramped.

Wir wurden bestens versorgt, unseren Wünschen kam man nach , es wurde ein Nachmittagskaffee mit Gebäck (nach unserer Ankunft) angeboten, das Frühstück war ebenfalls grandios, es wurde alles aufgetischt was man sich wünscht, und man führte sehr nette familiäre Gespräche mit der Dame des Hauses. Ein perfekter Aufenthalt auf der Durchreise.

A wonderful vintage guesthouse featuring charming décor, comfortable rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy a blend of nostalgic beauty and modern amenities, making it an ideal getaway for couples, solo travellers, and anyone who loves timeless style.

We just had to wait to enter the property ad nobody was answering the phone. We then hooted and someone opened the gate. Further all was good!

What a lovely, endeering host!

The are is very safe, calm and everything in this B&B is perfect. Elinette makes your stay very enjoyable and memorable by her friendliness and help fullness. The Breakfast was more than enough and delicious.

It's a good place, I liked to stay there despite the parking space being way too small.

Finally that property manager has stopped messaging me. It was annoying, I received spam from nightsbridge, about leaving reviews on tripadvisor, daily. I think you spoke to them, after my low review, it stopped. I had to do something to stop the harassing relentless emails. So the previous review has been removed. I won't be back, because of my subjective reaction to being mailed non stop from a source I cannot block, as it goes via bookingdotcom, and I use bookingdotcom all the time for booking. So for others this is not an issue.

Elonda bnb is absolutely fantastic. The reason I give the terrible review is due to the nightsbridge software sending me messages. I had three different bookings, and now I get a series of reminders, bordering on threats that I must review on bc and on tripadvisor. I am getting these messages daily and in series and it is not stopping. It is extremely annoying. I stayed, and enjoyed my stay very much, but when one leaves, you should be left in peace.

Being inundated with spam, as I cannot block bc which is used as a conduit for the constant badgering about leaving reviews on bc and tripadvisor. I absolutely never review as I am not an expert, but this constant emailing me is annoying beyond belief.

Easy access to major facilities and yet home from home with the quiet and tranquil environment!

The room is very comfortable and spacious. There were special biscuits set out for me to enjoy. The owner is a very special lady who will do her best to make your stay supper special.

The TV didn't have good reception and there were not a big variety of channels to choose from.

The hospitality of the staff is amazing. It is like going to stay at your favourite Aunties house, who understands privacy but also around for company if you want to chat! Very comfortable and in a quiet neighbourhood - really peaceful!
