Reviewed Jul 12, 2026I really appreciated the warm winter blanket and the DSTV package with the additional channels. It made my stay even more enjoyable, especially being able to watch the FIFA Club World Cup matches during the week.
One aspect that I feel could be improved is the breakfast. The same breakfast was served every morning throughout our stay. A little variety from day to day would have made the experience more enjoyable.

Heating was an issue as the wall panel heater did not work. Electric blanket only one could be switched on. Lighting not very good. Only half a toilet roll was left in the room. Toilet window too close to the reception Too cold water for having a shower in the morning. Too noisy at night, lights tripped

Place needs a bit of refurbishment and mordenisation. Otherwise a good value for money at a budget price. Place needs to add a microwave in the rooms in case of such guest need

The venue wasn't suitable for the family of 5 as per the booking, 3 adults and 2 children. Only 1 room booked for 3 adults , double bed and single bed. I had to book another room to sleep the two children and R900 extra had to be paid 😒

Lavender Lane was very helpful with accommodation at very short notice, as well as helpful advice to get assistance and supplies in the area. Much love for these superheroes!
