The owners Connie and Peary were so welcoming and helpful. A stunning position on the protected water with easy walk to restaurants and supermarket. 15 minutes from the airport.1000 rg for taxi. A delightful continental breakfast.

La chambre est spacieuse et la terrasse (partagée avec le voisin, le notre était tout le temps sur son kite!) est immense, face à la mer, pieds dans l'eau. Avec la petite brise du large, un régal!

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümer.Sie stellen uns die gesamte Wohneinheit zur Mitbenutzung zur Verfügung. Auch die Ausrüstung zum Schnorcheln ist vorhanden. Wir erhalten viele Ausflugstips für die nähere Umgebung, aber auch für die gesamte Insel.

Très bon emplacement à Mahébourg, très calme. Accueil chaleureux par Connie et Peary qui se plient en quatre pour que nous profitions au mieux du séjour. Fait notable : aucun moustique (en mai), sans doute grâce à l’orientation et au vent. Des grandes palmes sont disponibles en prêt pour le snorkeling. Place de parking juste à côté, restaurants tout proches, marché tous les matins … parfait pour clore un beau séjour à l’île Maurice.

En effet la vue mer n’est pas de la chambre mais du balcon. Mais c’était parfait car des stores protègent du soleil du matin.

Super accueil de nos hôtes, emplacement idéalement placé pour visiter Mahebourg à pied.

De devoir régler une taxe supplémentaire, booking devait intégrer cette taxe au tarif cela éviterait une certaine gêne pour les hôtes et une surprise pour les voyageurs.

The Sea Fever is a beautiful house with great views.It is close to restaurants,shops,the market and bus station.Connie and Peary are the perfect hosts,making you feel welcome and at home. We will be back soon for a 4th time.

We had a great stay. The host, Connie, is a lovely person and we enjoyed our conversations with her. We felt like home. The balcony view was lovely and we really had a great start on our vacation here.

Der sehr angenehme Empfang von Conny war bei der Ankunft schon außergewöhnlich. Ihre freundliche und herzliche Art wird uns sicher wieder hierher führen. Die traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer, das familiär geführte Haus machte den Urlaub einzigartig. Alle Zimmer sind hell und sauber. Wir hatten das Zimmer CLAIRE mit grossem Balkon. Leiider war der Aufenthalt zu kurz. Conny uns Peary gaben uns Tipps für Ausflüge, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Buslinien, die schönsten Strände, wo man gut Essen kann usw. Das B&B bietet ein kontinentales Frühstück an, welches mit frischen Früchten, Joghurt, Marmelade Eiern, Käse, Wurst, Kaffee/ Tee absolut ausreichend ist. Zusätzlich steht ein Kanu mit Paddeln, , Schnorchelausrüstung, Bücher, ein TV im grossen Wohnbereich, welcher im EG sich befindet und in den Frühstücksraum übergeht mit fantastischen Blick auf das Meer, zur Verfügung. So stellen wir uns das authentische Mauritius vor ❤️

Das Bett könnte etwas breiter sein, aber es war ok.

Pas de service de ménage Le voisinage très bruyant dans la journée Le petit déjeuner avec des produits industriels. On aurait aimer du fait maison au moins pour le jus en pleine saison des ananas ,mangues ou fruits de la passion. Chambre Marthe très sombre et éclairage insuffant.

Konnten uns kostenlos ein Kanu ausleihen und damit zur vorgelagerten Insel fahren. Vor der Insel kann man super schnorcheln! Ein Highlight.

Although a bit tricky to find without GPS, this was an excellent first stop in Mauritius. Connie and her husband were extremely helpful and kind advising on restaurants, SIM cards and places to visit. The room was very clean and the large community space with windows overlooking the sea, was very pleasant to sit in.

Connie und Perry waren Gastgeber wie man sie sich besser nicht wünschen kann, zusammen mit der schönen und gepflegten Unterkunft und ihren Tipps hätten wir uns keinen besseren Start in Mauritius vorstellen können. Das tolle Frühstück gab es noch dazu. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Conny ist ein wirklich lieber Mensch und macht viel mit ihrer herzlichen Art.wett. Die Zimmer und das Bett sind sehr klein, daher für 1-2 Nächte okey.

Die Umgebung rund um die Auberge hat uns nicht gefallen. Wirkte etwas heruntergekommen. Das betrifft jedoch nicht die Auberge!

Extremely nice hosts and very clean place! It is a family house, where the hosts make you feel as if it's your second home! They always are available to help you with tips and recommendations on the best things you can experience in the area. You have an amazing view from the location, with a nice terrace where you can admire the colours of the ocean and the small islands. The breakfast consists from bread, jam, fresh fruits and a small variety of cheese and ham. The hosts prepare it for you every morning! Very good experience, VERY clean, VERY warm people!

Connie and Pearie are your parents in Maheburg! The most lovely couple with an amazing B&B. Sea views in a very comfortable and clean room. Dont plan your Maheburg stay as Connie has the best recommendations for things to do and where to eat. We arrived 8pm and Connie kindly organised dinner at the nearby restaurant. By the way we went the next night as it was amazing! The food was delicious and cheap! Definitely stay here when you come to Mauritius and Maheburg. The location is a lovely seaside suburb, quiet but still close to everything. I recommend booking the Sea view room, we spent afternoons reading on the terrace. Connie's jam at breakfast is definitely another highlight. This place is a must stay!

Hello it is a very beautiful accommodation just 10 minutes from the airport. The couple was very friendly and gave us nice tips for beaches and restaurants. We felt like at home here. The breakfast was also very lovely. I would recommend you to stay here. Thanks again for everything!

The room was quite small no iron provided so expect to walk around with creased clothes! Or bring your own iron. There’s no smart tv let alone a tv in general so forget about playing music unless you just use your phone Same boring breakfast every morning ( included 1 boiled eggs, 1 hard bun, 1 small glass of juice. Slides cheese and a chicken leg which was really a slice of ham very much limited breakfast options if you’re a breakfast fanatic this isn’t really your place to be. For fruit we received a banana. This is someone’s house so expect to live like you’re in a commune the balcony is shared too so expect to frequently bump into your house mates. After trying to cancel & requesting for refund the host didn’t respond and when I approached her in person that I’d like to cancel as her place doesn’t meet my needs she told me she can’t refund me as who will pay me so I lost all the mon mey I booked for 7 nights but slept there for 2 without a refund or any form of partial compensation so yeah book at own risk. During the course of our stay on the island after moving to a different hotel we met a couple that left in the morning of our first flight for the same reason (breakfast)

Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux. Les lits sont très confortable et il y a une petite cuisine partagée à utiliser avec frigo, evier etc. L'Auberge est tres bien situé au bord de la mer, sans plage mais avec un bel promenade et proche de l'aeroport. la plage à Blue Baie n'est pas loin. Beaucoup des restaurants très proche à pied. Nous avons passé deux séjours la pendant notre tours d'Ile Maurice et La Réunion. Tout etait très bien passé. Merci.

I loved everything, the sea fever hostel is beautiful, a place of calm and serenity, the view of the lagoon is breathtaking, the interior is super pretty, you feel at home and Connie and her husband are wonderful people with a huge heart and exceptional kindness. Connie showed us everything there was to see in the surrounding area and gave us lots of good restaurant addresses. Everything was incredible and her breakfast in the morning is excellent. I recommend her accommodation with my eyes closed, I will return without hesitation. A real corner of paradise

Loved that it was in a suburb that gave us an opportunity to explore the local food and drinks. It was convenient to travel to various sightseeing spots, close to the beach, the airport, and the mall. The host was fantastic with recommendations 😀

I didn't like that we had to share the balcony, I prefer my privacy. However, outside of that, it was fantastic, and I would visit again 👏

Owners was so friendly and perfect, thank you so much! They give us good tips for trips, and a lot of informations about the island. Part of the breakfast was homemade (jam, jogurt... local fruits) You can use the fridge, kitchen, kitchen equipment.. For low cost traveling is perfect :)

I liked how kind and willing to help are Connie and Peary, always checking in on their guests. The place is simple, yet elegant, clean and it can for sure stand the test of time. Breakfast was delicious, full of stuff homemade and with options for everyone!

The locals garage bar across the road. The area was not the cleanest nor it felt the safest. Local dogs a problem. The breakfast was too basic for the price, needed some wholewheat bread and more options.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Connie and Peary were fantastic host, welcomed us, recommended some local restaurants and have given us snorkel equipment to see the magic coral reef nearby.

The location and view from room is spectacular. We could spend hours watching outside window and standing on balcony. Hosts Connie and Peary were amazing people and treated us like their family members. Connie explained me about nearby tourist spots which was really helpful. Every morning Peary used to prepare breakfast for us. Both of them seems to love hosting and they put whole hearted efforts to ensure all guests stay with smiling face. They also had regular snorkelling kits which could be used in case anybody wants to go for snorkeling. Although tour organizers provide snorkel and life jackets if required, it will be useful if we are doing our own. Overall it was wonderful stay.

A charming guesthouse. It felt like coming home with the lovely hosts Peary and Connie. Connie provided us with so many tips on what to do in and around Mahebourg, organised a guide to travel around the south and did so much more for us and the other guests. It was a great stay and we plan to be back on Mauritius thanks to them.

The accommodation is easily accessible from the airport (within 15 mins) but did not interfere with the stay, the room was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, the lounge and terrace available, so all we needed was a place to hang our wet things to dry. The accommodation is right by the sea. You then have to drive to the beach, the one in front of the house is more for fishermen. We got perfect tips from Connie on restaurants, beaches and snorkeling spots, so our stay was very enjoyable. Delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt and bread. The location is close to the airport (about 15mins drive). Supermarket&mall is 10 mins drive. Room is quiet and clean with a sea view balcony. The host and hostess are warm and nice people. They got up early to prepare breakfast for us, after knowing we will leave early the next day. Thank you for that.

The location was really good to explore Maehbourg and the surrounding area. You can easily get a bus to blue bay. Connie and Peary were fabulous and helpful hosts. We thank them so much for allowing us to check out later and the use of the shower. Great breakfast as well.

We had an upstairs room with a seaview that had a table and chairs and lounger which felt a bit close to another guest . The other guests needed to move their furniture away from us to give us more space. This was a bit unfortunate as this was down to the guest and not Connie and Peary. We still had a lovely time though.

The accommodation itself is also very nice, nice balcony looking out onto the bay. Very close to the airport!

It is best if you have a car to stay at this location for more than a couple of days. It was fine for us for 2 days as we walked into Mahebourg and Blue Bay but to explore more you really need a car. Otherwise, this was a great little place!

Everything was perfect at SeaFever. The rooms are very clean and contain everything you need. The view from the balcony is wonderful (you can see the sunrise from your bed). The breakfast (including tea and coffee, bred, fruits, everyday an other homemade jam, local specialties, yoghurt…) is delicious. But the most important: Connie & Peary are such gracious, attentive and kind persons who are ready to help at any time. That made the beginning of our holiday perfect. Thank you, Connie & Peary!

Very willing owners - got us some helpful advices about the town, managed booking to our trip to Ile aux Igrettes, showed us everything about the villa. Great equipment in shared kitchen (u can cook whatever u want for lunch or dinner and eat it in shared living room with sea view). Few minutes walk to the main bus station and the city centre, where is lot of restaurants and food markets.

Long distance to beaches - but we knew about this. If u want bigger breakfast then bring some salami/nutella/bread by yourself.

Incredibly hospitable hosts, beautiful location, spotless clean, comfortable and relaxing. Nothing not to like about this place!!! Also close from the airport (15mn taxi), so it's a great place where to start your Mauritian journey. The cap d'Esny nearby beach is beautiful.

The location and property are great if you’re looking for somewhere close to Mahebourg, or the airport and it’s easy to explore the Blue Bay Area from there. Its a less touristy part of Mauritius compared to the North/West and well worth visiting. Connie and Peary were so friendly throughout; sharing recommendations on things to do, restaurants, supermarkets,buses etc. which really made it easy to explore the area. Both my room and breakfast were good and exactly what I was expecting… hopefully I’ll be back staying again soon!

The owners make this place special. Very kind and helpful with a lot of information about the Island. Even the communication before our arrival was super fast and they were always available for questions. The room was clean, the kitchen very well equipped and the house is very good located to explore the area by foot or bus. We can definitely recommend to stay here 😊👍🏻

Beautiful accommodation, very open, bright and welcoming. After a long flight, the location is excellent, right on the beach for amazing sunrise from the balcony, far enough away from the main road so that you weren’t disturbed by traffic noise but ideal location for walking into Mahebourg or a 10 minute drive to the boats to Ile aux Aigrettes. Connie and Peary excellent hosts, very knowledgable about the area and very welcoming. The Chinese restaurant they recommended was fabulous.
