Every is amazing. It’s super pretty house and the room, living room and kitchen are fabulous. You can have breakfast whenever you get up after aurora tour. Host is so kind and dog and cats are so cute. Everything is spotless.

Breakfast was OK. Nothing special.

Staff could have been friendlier.

This BnB is absolutely wonderful. The host welcomed us personally and even helped carry our luggage to the room. The house has a very spacious layout, with a huge kitchen and a large lounge area. The lounge has a transparent skylight, allowing guests to enjoy the aurora from indoors — truly a top‑tier feature for a BnB. The bathroom and shower are shared, but they are essentially shared between only two rooms, and the space is very large and comfortable. Besides the lovely host, the house is also home to two adorable cats — Fanta and Meemoo — and a friendly blonde dog named Ringo. They were all incredibly charming and made the stay even more enjoyable.

Muy buena ubicación, muy limpio

an assortment of items

Great location, excellent and comfortable room. Strongly recommended for any stay. Couple and family friendly.

1. Nice glass dome in Living area to see the northern lights 2. The Host was very welcoming. Our flight was late and we arrived around 2AM. She waited for us and gave us a brief tour of the house when we arrived.

Everything 😍

The location was perfect. My room was on the main floor with a double bed and a bunk bed overtop, close to the bathroom and sauna. You can hike along Frame Lake, There is a trail just outside of the house,

The bunk bed is right above the double bed and I banged my head a few times on the frame. The breakfast is cereals, muffins, yoghurt, snacks and coffee.

🥰 The house is incredibly spacious, beautiful, and filled with warm, thoughtful touches in every corner. The highlight of the stay was definitely the one dog and two cats—the cats are the most adorable 'welcome ambassadors' ever! The entire place is spotless, and the bathroom is large and very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, making it super convenient to cook your own meals. A special shout-out to the host from Taiwan, who is incredibly kind! Not only did they remind us to stay warm, but they also kindly kept a lost item safe for me after I misplaced it. I felt so much warmth and hospitality here. Highly recommended! 🥰

Awesome hosts and a great place to stay! If you like meeting new people from all over the world, Hacho House is perfect. The breakfast is awesome, the location is excellent, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. Mimo and Panta, the cats, were around all the time — just watch out for Panta, he might try to eat your food… just kidding 😅🐾 Most tour companies in Yellowknife use Hacho House as a pickup point, which is super convenient, and it’s only about 10 minutes from downtown by bus. Also, I had the opportunity to watch Northern Lights from their property on a clear sky day. Thank you for everything — highly recommended

All good.

Very nice place and friendly owner. Her cats are the cutest thing

the house itself was beautiful, comfy and cozy, it was quiet and everyone was friendly. The pets never bothered us. Bathrooms were shared, but they were always clean and perfect. We were in fall, so we had a lot of snow, and the house was always warm. The bed, omg, was great, it's weird the first time I saw it, because is just a blanket over the mattress, but it was amazing to sleep on.

nothing. it was just perfect

Good location, large house, pets welcome and good breakfast.

The bathroom and toilet were not clean during the three nights we stayed.

Nice house beside the lake, host inform rules for stay clearly.

Bath room, Parking space and kitchen for make quick meal offered.

Well located with a good size room and free parking, great range of choice for a substantial breakfast

It felt like being home. Cozy feel.

We used Hacho House on our last night in Yellowknife where we were planning to visit all the museums. The location is quite unbeatable. It's right on Frame Lake by the "Great Trails" and a few minutes walk to the Prince of Wales museum (a must see), the Municipal House, Mining monument and the Legislative Assembly (highly recommend). The house is unique in design and architecture and the the host inviting and lets you use the large living room and outdoor patio where we had our breakfast. The room itself was small but had all we needed with 2 very large, well supplied wash/bathrooms. It was quite sufficient for an overnight stay.

My only negative was the bed i was on - mostly uncomfortable as i could feel the springs on my back - however my husband had a good mattress. I can only assume most other mattresses may also be good.

Nice rooms, very quiet. Flexible breakfast (self serve) with lots of options

Nice house. Lots of space. Snacks and tea and coffee always available

A bit far from the centre

The host was very friendly & kind. She gave wonderful assistance in recommending tours & helping to book them.

Everything was wonderful!!

Great Sauna

The check in times are not accurate, Official you must let her know your check in time 1 day in advance, If you didn't let her know by afternoon the day of check in she will cancel the reservation, I would admire that they should fix there check in time,

Loved the homey atmosphere, the furry pets, and the owner was so kind. The location was close to the core downtown, and we easily walked everywhere. The other guests staying were fun to get to know as well.

Nothing

Welcoming cats and dog! Beautiful house

Nice house, great location, friendly owners, cute pets.

Unfortunately the living room roof was frozen, so visibility wasn't as good as I expected, but for Aurora you should go outside of the city, so it's not a big deal. WiFi in the corner room is quite poor, so good connection you can find in the living room.

This was by far the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The host was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. Rooms were clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast was provided with a wide variety of fruits. We could also use the kitchen to prepare our own eggs. The location of the house is great. It is right next to a lake, so we were able to just step outside and see Auroras right from the frozen lake. There is also a walking trail that takes you to the city, about 7-10 minutes' walk. Ice skating was 7-minute walk from the house. The best part was the sauna in the house.

Location, friendliness and lastly their pets

Breakfast was an open continental breakfast, served all day. If we needed a little snack, we could go and get one. The whole house was available to us and we were made to feel welcome! Our Hosts were very knowledgable and helpful with tours, bookings and general information. Loved having the pets, made me not miss mine so much! I have already recommended them to others!

I was cold - but I always am! And it was -40 degrees! Nothing about the place!

Uniquely excellent in Yellowknife. Cozy and luxurious

None

Home owners put a lot of work into maintaining this place, if you need help just ask. The room ambience is really cozy, bed was the fluffiest ever, I love that the pets are always welcoming guests back. Breakfast available all day :) Aurora can sometimes be seen from this place also, just keep a look out.

Nothing not to like about this place. Is better than the hotels around.

Beautiful home amazing host and great facilities

The place is very comfortable, breakfast available all day long and bed is nice.

Nothing, no problems at all.

Clean room and good kitchen

So loudly and no noise proof

I loved the whole experience! Ihsin really puts her heart into the space and you can tell. The place is super walkable to free museum, legislative assembly and parks. A few nights we could see the aurora just from her deck! It really felt like home away from home. I had not considered coming back to yellowknife but this place and the people I have met made me want to. All of her animals are super docile and adorable! I am super looking forward to bringing people with me when I come back.

The *only* thing is if you’re in the triple room the bunked beds are on the low side so you could hit your head if you’re not used to it but the bed is super comfortable.

We're very enjoyed our stay. very relaxed and comfortable.

The place is amazing. I like the setting here beautiful and peaceful. The cats also cute and friendly. The bathroom is common but there is no trouble at all.
