An excellent B&B with beautiful decor.

Our stay at Lir B & B was both pleasant and homely, Catherine was a most friendly hostess and went out of her way to make our stay at the B&B both comfortable and cosy,it really is a home away from home, the morning breakfast is delicious and sets you up for the day ahead,I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Lir B& B to anyone who is thinking of booking in here,you won't be disappointed I can assure you that 👍

I couldn't fault anything

Catherine and her home are lovely. She was amazing with communication and we received such a warm welcome even later in the evening. Requests were always welcomed and breakfast was so wonderful . Fresh baked breakfast of your choice and delicious muffins were a gift as we left. The rooms are very comfortable, bathroom and facilities neat and clean- and when travelling, it all felt like home . Would recommend to anyone passing through or visiting the area

Porridge was gorgeous. Loved the fruit to go with it.

Despite arriving late in the evening after landing and driving from dublin airport, Catherine welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home, offering Tea and asking for our wishes for breakfast. In the morning we were served delicious home made breakfast and Catherine even surprised us with home made muffins for the way when we took of to our next destination. Absolute recommendation!

Very friendly host who cooked an amazing breakfast. I really recommend this place, it feels like home.

Nothing that is related to the accommodation itseft. There is a very small village next to it with a good reastaurant but you need to arrive there on time for dinner (before 20:30), otherwise you ll stay without a dinner.

Catherine is the most wonderful host nothing is to much trouble and its truly is home from home and breakfast is a proper full Irish affair which I couldn't fault room was clean and tidy and spacious

Lovely B&B in a lovely area. Catherine greeted me on arrival with tea and bakes.was shown to my room and all amenities . very luxurious room and the bed was so nice . Had a great sleep . Followed up next morning with a gorgeous breakfast. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I couldn't fault my stay in any way

Wir haben uns bei dieser Gastgeberin sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie war uns gegenüber herzlich, hilfsbereit und humorvoll. Das Ganze gepaart mit einer unaufdringlichen Art. Wir wurden mit Tee und selbstgebackenen Muffins begrüßt und beim Frühstück gab es selbstgemachten Obstsalat und Teacake, Eierspeise nach Wunsch. Die Unterkunft liegt nicht weit von der Fernverkehrsstraße in einer sehr ruhigen kleinen Wohnsiedlung. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Für unsere Bedürfnisse war dieser Aufenthalt ein gelungener Auftakt unserer Irlandreise.

Im Badezimmer wäre etwas mehr Platz für eigene Utensiiien gut.

The property is well situated for the village and for the Friary. Parking was no problem. The room was large and well maintained. A good comfortable night. Catherine was an excellent host at all points in my stay.

The listing is very misleading, I booked a room with a “private bathroom”, however the bathroom was shared with guests other rooms. I would never have booked the room if this was clear in the listing.

The breakfasts were fantastic! Lovely food. We liked the quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to Weir’s, which is an excellent restaurant. Interesting local sites. It was our first time in Multyfarnham.

Mattresses were perhaps a little too firm. But bedding was clean and comfortable.

We were met by the host at the door and offered tea or coffee. Our rooms were bright, clean and cheerful. Local restaurant is very good.Had a peaceful night sleep and a freshly prepared breakfast in the morning.

Catherine (the host) was incredibly kind and her hospitality was amazing. Very comfy beds, nice and quiet and a delicious home-cooked full Irish breakfast! We would 100% recommend!

The Full irish breakfast was very good with home-made white and brown bread on the side.

We had a very sound night’s sleep at Lir in a room with a wonderful view to the hills beyond from our window. And the breakfast the next morning was truly comprehensive – everything we wanted seemed to either on the table already or speedily to hand. It almost goes without saying (though I will say it nevertheless) that Catherine is a very warm and welcoming host. Recommended.

Lovely comfortable room in a great B&B just outside Mullingar in the quiet village of Multyfarnham. Breakfast was brilliant and location was great for exploring the locality. Host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, the room & bathroom was very well stocked.

A very warm welcome by Catherine, who offered us a pot of tea with delicious home bakes. Delicious. We slept very well after an evening in Multyfarnham, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was super and the best rashers we've had in years. The black and white pudding you have to see for yourselves....perfect.

The owner was just so welcoming and at same time not intrusive. I stayed here before and returned with a family member who loved it. It is simple and very homely. The breakfast was traditional and you can ask for different things. The owner even asked us if we wanted a coffee or tea when we arrived. You are made to feel so welcome!

Lots of towels and facecloth in the bathroom. Selection of toiletries was good. Plenty of hot water.

No shower cap in bathroom. Room not very warm. Mattress very uncomfortable with indented shape. No kettle/tea or coffee facilities in the room When I lowered the bathroom blind a lot of large flies flew out

The breakfast is first rate, with homemade scones and bread. The room was well appointed and very comfortable.

Multyfarnam is small and walkable. Ann is an exceptional hostess, and great cook. Very lovely area, quiet & peaceful. The Friary nearby is beautiful.

Catherine was very welcoming. I was leaving very early in the mornings so she made up a breakfast hamper for me which was very kind of her. All of the food was home made and delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The room wasn't ensuite which I knew before I booked. The bathroom was very clean and perfectly suitable to my needs however if I had the choice I would have chosen a room that was ensuite

Upon arrival, we were extremely tried. Catherine setup tea and other goodies for us even though it was a late day arrival. She even recommended a nice resturant down the road, called and made us a dinner RSVP.

I had no faults

The room was cancelled a matter of minutes after booking , as it said it was 300 m from town centre this was not the case , we phoned the b/b and they did not refund money resulting in us losing 50;% of cost the owners had the option of waiving the fee as there had been a mistake

Would have preferred a choice for breakfast. But quality was fine.
