Die Gastgeber-Paar war super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Man konnte vor Ort einen privaten Shuttle-Service in Anspruch nehmen und sich in die nahegelegenen Orte fahren lassen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Bei Fragen oder Wünschen konnte man sich stets an die Gastgeber wenden. Außerdem war der Ausblick wunderschön!

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. So könnten Dinge wie der Kühlschrank oder das Bettlaken erneuert werden. Für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf kann das Meer nachts außerdem sehr laut und störend sein. Auch den Verkehr auf der Hauptstraße war morgens zu hören. Dies hat aber natürlich nichts mit der Unterkunft selbst zu tun!

Séjour trop bien, le logement est tellement bien situé avec une vue incroyable c’était magnifique. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et le personnel était incroyablement gentil. Je conseille fortement ! Le logement était très propre et on avait la plage que pour nous.

Прекрасный вид на океан на удобных стульях, где хочется сидеть весь день. Вкусный завтрак. Прекрасный комплимент по приезде (свежий смузи). Персонал очень доброжелательный и понимающий ( вычли сумму завтраков за несколько дней, которые нам не пригодились, потому что уезжали на двухдневную экскурсию ). Маленький пляж с песком. В номере не было мыла для мытья головы и тела, после просьбы принести - нам предоставили.

Не сказали о времени закрытия отеля на ночь, мы приехали к 12 ночи после экскурсии и не знали, как зайти, потому что дверь изнутри была заперта. Не поняли, как работает душ с горячей водой ( 4-7 минут шла горячая, а дальше холодная)

Location wise it was perfect.. The view the balcony everything was beautiful. Loved the view And the sound of waves .beautiful sky at night.worth the watch.

So, we checked in and the host handed over our keys and just vanished. It's a small villa with rooms to rent. We wanted info and there was nobody to talk to .they just vanished. At nite we vent out for dinner and they locked the main door without knowing we are not in the room. We came back to closed doors. We banged the door for 20mins nobody opened. We called to the number and after 20mins finally they opened. Room was average. Bed not comfortable. No water provided. Ac and fans were okay. Breakfast was also okay. Overall my experience with place was average.

We had an amazing 4-day stay at Fantasea Villa. The accommodation is located right on the beach, offering stunning views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Although it is a little away from the main junction, tuk-tuks are easily available, making it convenient to get around. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even prepared delicious home-cooked meals for us. The combination of beachfront living, great hospitality, and peaceful surroundings made our stay unforgettable.

The only downside was that guests at the neighboring villa were quite noisy on some nights, with loud music continuing late into the evening. This was related to a different property and not Fantasea Villa itself. Overall, the hospitality, beachfront location, and relaxing atmosphere made for a wonderful stay.

We reached that area and tried to contact them to get the correct location but they didn't answer the phone. We asked about the villa from the people in that area but they didn't know. So we had to cancel it and book another hotel

Excellent location. Right on the beach , you can actually walk down from the property. Waves breaking at the boundary. 300 m away from turtle beach . Clean . Good breakfast and easy to reach with parking spot available. Ac working .

Великолепное расположение. Это не просто первая линия , это +superVIP первая линия. Выходишь из своего номера и сразу оказываешься у океана. Вилла небольшая всего 3 номера и это делает пребывание здесь особенно приятным. На побережье мало людей, нет шума и нет продавцов. Для любителей спокойствия, тишины (шум только от океана, разве он может мешать?) и уединения- лучшее место, еще и по приятной цене. Завтраки отличные, вкусно и разнообразно. Хозяева очень приветливые, общительные и дружелюбные. На сколько я довольна визитом?- на 1000% из 100% Если вы любите побыть один , или если устали от людей , суеты и шума, то вам точно подойдет это место.

FantaSea Villa is a dream! It’s a beautiful little place right on the beach, with stunning, postcard-like sea views. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and breakfast is wonderful 😍fresh tropical fruit, toast with marmalade and butter, tea or coffee, an omelette, and even Sri Lankan hoppers freshly made and brought to your table. Fresh juice too. You fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to turquoise water right in front of you. There are even a few little steps down if you want to walk along the beach. What a dream stay. I absolutely loved it. ❤️

L’emplacement et la vue de la chambre sont incroyables ! Le personnel est adorable et nous a organisé nos trajets en tuktuk. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour ici !

Precio calidad está muy bien. Cumple con condiciones muy básicas pero funcionaba todo bien y el baño estaba renovado. Las vistas son lo mejor. Buen desayuno. Personal amable. Zona muy tranquila

La vue de la terrasse est top ! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon , l’emplacement est éloigné du centre mais proche de certaines plages (turtle beach / dawella)

Nous avons diner un soir et le repas etait cher, et semblait plutot etre un reste de diner de la famille que quelque chose de frais. Je pense que la famille n’a pas voulu nous dire non pour le diner comme il etait tard mais il aurait mieux valu La chambre a une forte odeur d’humidité lié a la salle de bain

The location is perfect, far enough away from the hub-bub of Unawatuna but close enough to get a tuk-tuk there in 5 minutes. An amazing view out to the ocean and a beautiful and quiet beach 2 mins away. The people are lovely. The bedroom is also lovely.

The bathroom aesthetic is basic. It has everything you need; hot shower, toilet, sink, clean towels, space and storage and is clean but the decor is utilitarian. It didn't bother me and I would still recommend this place highly, but if you want Italian marble and porcelain tiles this is not for you.

Geweldig uitzicht! Heerlijk om te staren naar de golven en om het geluid van de golven te horen. Zeer goed en verzorgd ontbijt. Vriendelijke eigenaar die goed te bereiken is. Is regelmatig in de accommodatie en is goed te bereiken via Whatsapp. Airco doet er wat lang over om koud te worden, maar uiteindelijk goed koel op de kamer.

De douche is echt een drama. Zeer klein straaltje en een kapotte douchekop waardoor je alleen maar onder een slang staat. Wel goed warm water. Advies: Als de eigenaar wat geld investeert in de douche (en waterdruk) en wat nieuwere meubels neerzet, kan hij zo het dubbele bedrag vragen.

The location, the authentic atmosphere It’s quite decent for this cost , especially considering the location. Only 3 three rooms which makes the stay there more private. The exit to the beach.

Only good thing was that the rooms were decent. Everything else was not.

No service, absolutely no hotel staff at the hotel. No blankets or covers, and nobody to ask. Fan was not working, no effort was made to make it work. Owner/receptionist asked for payment for duration of stay as soon as we checked in. That was the last we saw of him. No amenities provided other than 1 tiny piece of soap.

The owner was very kind and helpful. The location right by the sea was beautiful, and our room had everything we needed. It was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was very delicious. We also really appreciated being allowed to use the kitchen, which was very kind.

La posizione della struttura è davvero suggestiva: affaccia su una terrazza direttamente sul mare, ed è molto rilassante addormentarsi con il rumore delle onde anche se per dormire ho dovuto usare i tappi.

Purtroppo, però, la pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare: le sedie all’esterno erano sporche, così come le federe, e i cuscini all’interno erano in condizioni poco igieniche. Abbiamo preferito usare un nostro telo da mare per dormire. Anche la colazione non è stata di nostro gradimento. Mi dispiace dirlo, ma non è una struttura che mi sentirei di consigliare.

We had a fantastic stay at Fantasea Villa! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring Unawatuna and Galle. Most of all, the warm hospitality of the host made us feel completely at home. The young man did everything to make our stay extra enjoyable.

Perfect location. There are three rooms. All overlooking the ocean. We went there off season so I don’t know if it’s possible to swim during the season. It was always wavy. And sometimes you could here the cars passing by. But still it is a perfect place. The room and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was yummy. And the owner helps with everything. There is a store and lots of restaurants nearby

It's a value for money accomodation which is next to coastline. Although it's not a luxury one but one travelling on a budget can definitely give it a try as it has amazing views and tidy rooms with a delicious english breakfast.

Amazing ocean front rooms. The view is exceptional. Very comfortable room with air conditioning, fan, fridge, hairdryer and the sound of the waves. There are 3 rooms at the property. Great breakfast. Very agreeable host. The bus stops right outside the door - very handy. A 5 minute walk from Turtle Beach where you can see turtles at the edge of the small beach. A 7 minute tuk tuk ride to Unawatuna. 25 bus ride to Galle. The host has a tuk tuk. Lovely stay, wish we had stayed longer.

Viraj is an exceptional host. He ensured my stay was as comfortable as it could be. He served the best breakfast ever and was very proactive. A true gentleman who went out of his way to be always available and assist. I'd recommend fantasea because of him 11/10.

The view from the terrace is beautiful. The turtle beach is 250m away, which is very beautiful and you can see many turtles. You can also feed them.

The view was so special, especially in morning. You feel like you are sitting in the waves - so it's loud but that's the beauty of it. Breakfast was really nice and varied. The room was comfortable and you have several restaurants or shops in walkable distance.

If you are a light sleeper, the sound of the waves might bother you. The hotel is located at a main road, you don't hear the traffic in the rooms at all, but if you want to walk to a restaurant you have to walk on that main road - this might be tricky especially at night.

The staff was fantastic, always willing to help.

Can’t emphasise enough how beautiful the location and view is. Simply superb. The beach right out front might be a little rough for some for swimming but it’s a splendid place to sit Very comfy bed Plenty of drying space for wet clothes and items Breakfast looked pretty good (I’m not really a breakfast eater, but the other guests looked to be very happy with the offerings) Plenty of seating (and a table) out on the patio to sit and see the ocean Multiple beaches and restaurants within a short walk - keep a sharp eye out for beach access paths, there’s fewer ways in than you might think.

Wifi was pretty poor for speed. Not a problem if you have mobile data (as I did) but if you are relying on wifi may be an issue No toiletries whatsoever. Not expecting much (that was clear from the description so my eyes were open) but a bar of soap or liquid hand wash for the sink/ washing hands would be a welcome addition If you’re a light sleeper, the breaking waves are quite loud due to the nature of this particular beach, so you may find them more annoying than soothing. I was fine, but again something to keep in mind

The window didn't close properly, we could open it from outside easily. We didn't feel safe. Also, we ordered an airport drop off, and agreed the price with the hotel/driver, but when we arrived to the airport he asked for more money.

Right on the beach front with amazing views! The breakfast was lovely & the staff were also very kind. Tuktuk to Mirissa was easy to organise also.

Beautiful view guaranteed, very tasty breakfasts and great stuff. Everything that you need, you find in the room (small fridge, air conditioning). Highly recommended!

Fantasea villa is a perfect location to stay in the area outside the strip of Unawatuna. Very nice rooms with a terrace next to the sea and a small private beach. Fantasea villa is runned by a couple of young guys and they are so nice and welcoming. They helped us with arranging a bus, brought me to the bus stand 05:45 in the morning and even prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. The breakfast in the morning is also lovely. The room is clean and the basic amenities are perfect including hot showers also. We also rented a scooter from them for a fair price. I definitely recommend this stay for a good budget and quality balance. Thank you guys!

The only thing that is not so good is the mobile reception in the room and their WiFi is not that good.

The view from the shared terrace was breathtaking, the delicious breakfast came with a wonderful view, and the staff was very kind and friendly.

This guesthouse is located on a very busy street, and since we prefer quieter areas, it was an inconvenience for us.

We loved our host and the breakfasts and the location, but with a little update these rooms would be excellent. Shower needs attention, either too hot or cold and need new towels and mats and some soap. All these things and Viraj could make so much more. We wish him all the best ❤️

Absolutely amazing VIEW. New AC. Comfortable bed. Quiet Location, far from the main beach and all restaurants - For some this could be a problem.
