Absolutely everything! Perfect little place by the sea. You have the beach right down from the room for strolls. Suresh was absolutely wonderful in helping with everything and a genuinely a nice animal friendly person. Property serves wonderful views throughout the day!

Seafront Villa is a lovely little hotel with just a few rooms, and its location is absolutely amazing — literally right on the beach! You step outside and the ocean is right there in front of you. The view is simply beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh, delicious and very enjoyable. We really loved the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of this place. Everything felt easy, personal and genuinely welcoming — exactly what you want from a small beachfront hotel in Sri Lanka. We had such a great time here and will definitely stay at Seafront Villa again when we return to Unawatuna! ❤️🌊🇱🇰

The villa was exceptional! The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very spacious. Both the AC and hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the summer hut right over the waves dining there felt truly magical. A special thank you to Suresh for his warm, attentive hospitality and making our stay so memorable ♥️

We booked 2 rooms and had the place to ourselves. As close to the water as you can get with nice outdoor seating areas. A short walk along the beach to the amazing Turtle Beach experience which has nice restaurants. The host was very helpful and did a great breakfast.

Amazing property. The location is top class. Would top even the big hotels with it's unique location. Suresh provided us with LITERALLY everything. He even arranged a bike for us. He guided us on public transport too. Very helpful. Property is right on the beach. We spotted turtles and big land monitor lizard. Had an awesome time.

Location is a big pro. Blue sea just outside the villa, spotted a couple of turtles in the morning by the beach. But the host is superb, he took extra care of us just like a good friend. He arranged scooters and airport pickup for us. This stay was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it has set the bar high. The Host prepared tasty breakfasts and even accommodated our special requests.

Read some comments about the washroom, but to be honest, it's functional and workable if you are not too fussy. At the price, this stay is a steal deal honestly.

Sanitär sehr einfach und alt. Wenig Wasser

Ansprechende Lage direkt am Meer. In der Nähe vom Turtle Beach. Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Zimmer sind für eine Nacht zufriedenstellend länger würde ich hier aber nicht sein wollen. Klimaanlage Ventilator und Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Wir hatten hier übernachtet als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zum Flughafen. Wir hatten für den Preis aber auch nicht viel mehr erwartet.

Diese Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf dringend einer Renovierung. Es fehlt hier und da etwas Farbe und es ist doch etwas schmuddelig.

The room itself was okay, but the bathroom felt a bit rundown and would benefit from renovation. For the price, I expected something in better condition. Dinner wasn’t available on-site, but there were options close by at the beach, which was convenient

Mycket nära till vatten, nedanför min säng typ. Stort rum. Mysigt ute. Bra och skön säng. Perfekt gör surfare, men andra också..

Unglaublich toller Ausblick direkt aufs Meer! Einfach Wow! Das Zimmer war sauber und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Der Gastgeber war auch sehr nett :)

Das Bad bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung, aber für die paar Tage hat es ausgereicht und die Lage direkt am Meer hat einen das ganze vergessen lassen ;)

Крутые завтраки, вид на океан, отзывчивый персонал, расположение, всё было супер!!!

Есть проблемки с горячей водой, напор маленький, но в целом, всё было отлично!!!

La nostra camera era praticamente sulla spiaggia, una vista incredibile sul mare per dormire con il suono delle onde! 🌊 c’erano aria condizionata e ventilatore perfettamente funzionanti, un mini frigo, bollitore, carta igienica, saponette e anche bottigliette di acqua comprese! il proprietario è stato molto gentile e ci ha permesso di fare il check in con alcune ore di anticipo! Ci è stato offerto anche un buonissimo succo di benvenuto. La spiaggia è quasi privata, davvero bellissima!

La doccia si potrebbe migliorare un po’, c’era acqua calda ma il getto era debole, necessita un po’ di manutenzione.

Просто невероятное удовольствие от проживания в этой вилле , как же там красиво ! Своя голубая Лагуна , каждое утро , выходишь из номера и сразу произвольно улыбка на лице от вида на океан , очень отзывчивый хозяин , просторный номер , все есть , скромно , но очень комфортно Вкусный завтрак , по желанию вам могут приготовить обед , мы заказывали креветки и рыбу , очень вкусно . Рядом есть кафе и супермаркет , в 6 минутах пляж с морскими черепахами , абсолютно бесплатно можно поплавать , очень хотели продлить , но к сожалению уже стояли брони . Рекомендую .

Может кто то и увидит минусы , мы их вообще не увидели , сплошное наслаждение .

Вид на океан , вкусный завтрак, заселили раньше, приятный доброжелательный молодой человек, разрешили оставить на хранение багаж после выселения до вечера

There are some mixed reviews about the accommodation, but it's a truly wonderful place! You're right on the beach and can walk to Turtle Beach. The host is very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. The room is large, and the shower is great. We definitely recommend staying there.

Die Unterkunft liegt in schöner Lage am Strand und der Gastgeber ist äußerst nett und bemüht. Die Zimmer sind jedoch leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchten eine Sanierung, um das volle Potential der Unterkunft auszuschöpfen. Deshalb haben wir uns leider nicht ganz so wohl gefühlt wie erhofft. Wenn man jedoch nur zum Schlafen hier ist, ist es absolut ausreichend! Das Frühstück bestand aus einem schönen großen Obstteller und einem Sandwich. Es war sehr lecker, aber im Vergleich zu den Frühstücken, die wir auf unserer restlichen Reise bekommen haben, wenig reichhaltig.

La posizione e la vista dalla camera sono qualcosa di unico. Il propietario una persona gentilissima e disponibile per ogni esigenza.

Location! location! location! 🤩 There were many friendly & adorable stray dogs around and they joined us on our morning walk by the beach. 🥰

Top Lage direkt am Meer mit Zugang zum Strand. Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich, das Frühstück extrem lecker. Der Gastgeber ist herzlich und kümmert sich um alles. Ganz in der Nähe sind Restaurants, die man von der Strandseite der Unterkunft erreichen kann. Meeresschildkröten gibt es direkt um die Ecke. Bezaubernd.

Super séjour avec une vue magnifique sur la mer ! Le logement était propre, agréable et fidèle à la description. L’hôte a été très sympathique et arrangeant. On recommande vivement !

La villa es increíble, preciosa, maravillosa, el mejor lugar para olvidarte de tus problemas. Vistas al mar, bien ubicado y Suresh el anfitrión súper amable y siempre pendiente de nuestro bienestar. Cuando regrese a Sri Lanka tengo claro que volveré. Los desayunos son enormes y buenísimos. Además cerca De la Villa hay un columpio alucinante y súper divertido. Suresh nos informó de todo. Estamos súper felices

The location is incredible. Quiet green location right at the ocean borderline. The beach all at your disposal. There is a nice cafe with the rope swings just 50 meters away. To go to the centre by tuk-tuk is cheap and fast. The host Surezh was always helpful and friendly. Turtles nests are here . We took part in bringing turtle kids to the ocean.

“Our stay in Talpe was wonderful! The accommodation was very nice and right on the beach, with easy access to the ocean. We had one of the best Sri Lankan breakfasts of our lives—the pancakes and local dishes were delicious. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a full Sri Lankan experience and its amazing location!”

I didn’t like anything. Very neglected property, no attendance to guests and absolutely rundown place.

It is too long of the list to describe. I was mislead Ed by some reviews saying how nice it was. The only good side it is basically on the water but with harsh waves and tricky rocks to get down. Dangerous to swim. Nothing close by. No AC! Stained linen. I had to leave as I could not stand it.

Right on the beach. Lovely breakfast, friendly owners/family. Brilliant cafe/bar just next door did lovely food, cocktails and cold beer. The price was very good. Turtles were just round the corner

Didn’t seem to be any hot water but we may of just had to ask by the time we got back we just had quick showers and went to bed so don’t want to bother anyway.

I has a nice location by a beautifull beach. The staff is nice.

The apartment has bad noise isolation, we could barely sleep. There is a very bad smell inside The bathroom is very bad, it is falling apart. Very bad value for money. Very overpriced. We had stays for 14euros per night that were far better. The staff just need to put some effort in to the aparment.

The fan had only 2 options: crazy fast so you cannot sleep because of the noise and wind and barely moving so it was really hot. Not great water pressure and there was no hot water for our shower. This was apparently fixed but we dis not stay long enough to have another shower.

Suresh is dedicated operator. He must improve himself on his punctuality. The location is exceptional. This property can be taken to the next level with bit of hospitality related training, attentiveness and cosmetic changes.

The bed linen would have been bit better. Plus if we had a bit better bathroom would have been great.

We were welcomed very friendly. The rooms are very spacious, clean and we had a wonderful view at the beach. In fact, this area of the beach was wonderful! All the people run to turtle Beach, making it more quiet here. The breakfast was very good! We wanted to stay only one night, but opted for a second! The crew was so nice and we would definitely come again!!!

It would have been helpful if the place was listed on Google Maps. It took some time to locate it.

Suresh was such a lovely helpful person ! Will go out of his way!! He is still renovating... But we had a comfortable stay and clean ! Location and scenery very good!

The main reason I like the property was the sea view it possesses. Further the staff was really supportive and friendly. Moreover there can be seen four to five turtles in the beach both morning and evening which was really amazing. I highly recommend you to get this experience.
