2 nachten hier verbleven in augustus 26. Foto’s geven online geen eerlijk beeld van wat je kunt verwachten. Het lijkt een mooi,smaakvol en verzorgd hotel in een grote tuin, maar dit beeld is misleidend. Hotelkamers zijn muf met schimmelgeur en zijn afgeleefd en er mankeert vanalles aan. Sanitair niet schoon en krakkemikkig. Douche met water met zeer sterke ijzergeur. Geen verduistering waardoor we alle ramen met vuilniszakken moesten afplakken om enigszins goed te kunnen slapen.Daarnaast zeer veel geluidsoverlast van de straat. Eigenlijk is het hotel een soort bunker met muren eromheen. Slechte service. Personeel doet niets om je verblijf te verbeteren. Herrie tot 3 uur ‘s nachts van een feest tegenover hotel. Personeel doet niets, zelf uit bed naar feest gelopen. Leuk en gezellig familiefeest, maar eerlijker als het hotel dit meldt. Dorp zelf lijkt overgenomen door de Russen, geen sfeer, afgeleefd toerisme.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The place is close to the bustle of Unawatuna.
It is directly opposite a bar that began playing loud music ~9pm. Not just loud, nightclub loud. It boomed in our room as if we were actually in a club. They also began setting off fireworks at 10pm. We asked the staff at the hotel and they assured us the music would die down soon. When it did not, other guests spoke to the staff at the bar. The music continued. At 2.30am, with everyone in our room exhausted, my husband cracked and shouted at the people from the balcony. The music continued. It went on until 3am. We have a young child and we all didn't sleep at all. It isn't the fault of the staff (they don't have any authority on what other businesses do) but we feel (as did other guests we spoke to at breakfast) that the description of the property makes it feel isolated and peaceful which it definitely was not. Had it not been for the loud music all night on our second night, we would have rated higher based on the staff and breakfast. It's just that the location is very unfortunate.

De waterdruk is laag waardoor er een klein straaltje uit de douche komt.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Хорошее место! Расположение хорошее, да, немного шумновато из-за дороги, но это было только пару дней, потом привыкли. Потом больше орущие павлины по утрам бесили 😁 Жили в номере Alisa, на втором этаже. В этом номере есть маленький холодильник, что является очень большим плюсом. И сам номер очень хороший, особенно отдельное помещение под гардероб и прихожая. Ну и пес Макс, как без него 😁, охрана была круглосуточная.

Das Klo war etwas wackelig und aus dem Bad kommt manchmal ein etwas unangenehmer Geruch.

It's a bit loud as there is a restaurant / bar just opposite to the hotel. But no-ones fault, and after midnight, it was way more quiet.

Vi var her først i tre nætter og vendte tilbage igen. Mam får virkelig meget for pengene. De varmeste anbefalinger herfra.

One worse thing about this apartman was that it’s near by restaurants and bars. We were there for two nights - one was alright just a normal noise from restaurant, nothing special, but the second one was worse. There was some karaoke party or what and that was terrible. But if you have a headpons with noise canceling, you will be fine :)

Номер на первом этаже, окон много, но их нужно закрывать тк все проходящие заглядывают) поэтому после того как опустишь жалюзи темновато. Завтраки стандартные и однообразные, но вкусные. 🌸 Территория очень ухоженная, зеленая. Много живности) Уборка по запросу. Отдельно хочу сказать огромное спасибо персоналу! Все внимательные, тактичные, готовы придти на помощь с решением любого вопроса. 💜 Хороших вам постояльцев 😘

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Недалеко до пляжа, по пути куча лавок и магазинчиков. Сам номер с двумя комнатами и огромной ванной, есть холодильник, чайник. К номеру прилегает веранда. Завтрак вкусный, на выбор омлет, гренки, кокосовые блинчики, обязательно тосты с маслом и фруктовая тарелка. Очень отзывчивая и доброжелательная хозяйка и персонал, всегда спрашивали, не нужно ли нам чего, помогали с прачечной, посоветовали недорогое кафе. Чисто, уборка и смена белья раз в 3 дня, нам хватало. На территории богатый животный и растительный мир на территории. Почти каждый вечер на веранду приходят павлины! По утрам видели варана. Много птиц и бурундуков. Определенно вернемся сюда, если выбор падет на Шри-Ланку!

The location was a bit off-putting as you would swear we were in Moscow if you know what I mean by that. Nothing the property can do about it. The location isn’t sketchy in any way, it’s just the atmosphere is it off. Be forewarned. Wish I did a bit more research about Unawatuna in general and its connection to Russian tourists. Head elsewhere along the coast if this would be an issue for you.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Это просто райский уголок, чуствовали себя как дома. Отель небольшой, всё очень чисто, приватно, территория такая уютная. А самое прекрасное это персонал! Волшебная управляющая Гаяне и её чудесный помощники! Вкусные завтраки возле красивого пруда, очень удобное местоположение отеля, номера чистые и просторные. Мы не смогли забронировать весь период проживания сразу, но после того, как остановились здесь, отменили бронь другого отеля и через несколько ночей вернулись сюда. Если вернёмся в Уну, то только сюда!

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025El alojamiento está decorado con mucho gusto, es pequeño pero tiene mucho encanto. Las habitaciones bien equipadas con AC, gel y champú, toallas, té e incluso nevera. Lo que está cerca de una carretera ruidosa y al otro lado hay un hotel con restaurante donde ponen música bastante alta. Si no fuera por eso, sería maravilloso!

Номера просторные, есть все необходимое для проживания. Территория небольшая, но зеленая, много растений, небольшой прудик с рыбками. Отличное расположение на центральной прогулочной улице, напротив классный ресторан. При отеле есть магазинчик с классными вещами ручной работы.

Diría 2 cosas ..por un lado a la taza del wc.le faltaba la silicona de pegarla al suelo y cada vez k lo usabas tenia traqueteo...y por otro lado k al estar en la calle principal pues empezaba el ruido temprano...si eres de madrugar no es problema..

Чисто, чистое белое постельное белье. Каждое утро на веранде очень красиво сервируется завтрак. И ещё там живет прекрасный пес Макс!!
Напор воды хотелось бы получше и сантехнику обновить.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Struttura molto carina a pochi passi dal mare e dai locali della città per cui ci si può muovere tranquillamente a piedi. La nostra stanza era piccola, ma dotata di tutto il necessario per un tranquillo soggiorno. Sicuramente molto essenziale, ma per il prezzo pagato direi che ci sta, quindi, si tratta di una stanza senza pretese. È presente l'aria condizionata e la zanzariera attorno al letto e questo è fondamentale dato il caldo umido che c'è a Unawatuna. La colazione buona, ma è quella tipica inglese. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto carina e gentile.
Abbiamo trovato un po' di formiche in bagno, ma tutto sommato non erano fastidiose. Date le piccole dimensioni della stanza, c'è Poco spazio per posizionare le valigie. E a differenza di altre strutture, non c'era bagnoschiuma. Di fronte si trova un locale che mette musica e questo può essere un po' fastidioso la sera, ma fortunatamente quando abbiamo soggiornato noi, hanno messo musica sino ad un orario accettabile. Al mattino, invece, si sentono molti rumori di uccelli e animali, quindi chi ha un sonno leggero deve tenere conto di ciò.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2025Super friendly people! We felt at home for our entire stay. Breakfast was good and tasty. Room was extremely clean and we loved our little 4 legged dog friend Max. If you don't pet him, he'll leave you alone. If you give him attention, you will get love from him. Wifi was good as well. Bonus tip: if you love playing Padel, there is a padelclub "Tropicpadel" 1 minute from the hotel. In our 4 day stay I played 2 matches there. If you want, you can also book lessons there. Furthermore, the hotel is in a very good location from which you can see everything near unawatuna. Restaurants close by, shops close by, beach close by. If you would like to have a pool day you can book that reasonably cheap at Araliya beach club which is also on 1 minute walking distance.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Uno dei posti più belli in cui sono stata. Struttura accogliente a due passi dal mare e dai negozi, ma situata in posizione tranquilla. Stanza curata nel dettaglio e con tutti i comfort compresa la possibilità di prepararsi il tè. La zona comune si affaccia su un carinissimo giardino ed è perfetta per rilassarsi con un buon libro in compagnia del cane Max. La qualità della struttura è sicuramente anche data dalla professionalità e gentilezza della staff che ringrazio per come si sono presi cura di me durante il mio soggiorno. Ottima e abbondante la colazione preparata fresca sul momento. Spero di poter tornare.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2025Velmi příjemná recepční. Dala nám plno tipů na aktivity v okolí a zařídila u svojí známé domácí koření. Pokoj čistý, vyzdobený květinami. Snídaně bohatá v krásném prostředí zahrady.
Dojem trochu kazí ruch z ulice a občasné diskotéky ze sousedního baru.

Reviewed May 4, 2025Very nice place located close to many restaurants, souvenir shops etc. Beaches are within walking distance. The room was clean with nice stylish decorations, there were some flower leaves put on the bed, sink, tables, chests which made a nice atmosphere. Good breakfast. The staff was very helpful. They arranged a transport to the airport much cheaper than what we found using Pick Me app. I can recommend that place🙂
