Reviewed May 5, 2026Alan and Linley were very friendly and accommodating hosts. We were surprised but delighted to see yummy homemade treats on our arrival. Breakfast was very tasty with homemade jams and marmalade. The room was very cosy and we had our best night's sleep since we'd been away. The location was close to town and although we drove it could be walked in about 15 minutes or so. We'd definitely stay here again.
We honestly can't think of anything.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Beautiful location, lovely room, excellent breakfast and the most lovely hosts ever ❤️ The whole experience was really nice, we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The homemade food was amazing (especially the brownies, yogurt and bread). I would highly recommend this place.
I could have sat there eating yogurt and fresh fruit all morning. I had to rush off unfortunately so my fault really.

Wilden het ons naar de zin maken. Uitgebreide uitleg etc. Ze namen de tijd. Echt een B&B echtpaar dat geïnteresseerd is in ons, ons verblijf etc. En het leuk vindt gasten naar de zin te maken en te verzorgen en niet voor ‘het geld’.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Our hosts Alan and Linley were wonderful - so welcoming, kind and thoughtful without being intrusive. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and our breakfast was delicious. The location suited us very well. Set in magnificent gardens, it was beautiful, tranquil and within walking distance to one of our desired destinations, the Warkworth historical music. The town centre was a short drive. Thank you Alan and Linley for a lovely stay!

Parking is easy and convenient. It was very quiet at night, and the garden is beautiful and relaxing. I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Fik lækker morgenmad, meget var hjemmelavet og smagte virkelig godt. Vores værtspar gav os brød med til at fodre fiskene ved Goat Island.

Even a special treat of cookies and chocolate left for us at the end of our days out. The cooked breakfast was plentiful and done to our requests. Our hosts were helpful with suggestions of local places to visit and we had no trouble finding things to do nearby. Would certainly stay there again.

Reviewed Nov 21, 2025Wunderschöne Lage im großen Garten. Die Wohnung hatte eine Terrasse und einen Balkon jeweils mit Gartenblick. Die Vermieter waren supernett und sympathisch, haben uns mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt. Es gab ein leckeres Frühstück im Haus der Familie.
