Das Hillhouse ist ein wunderschöner Ort für Entspannung. Die Besitzer sind so herzlich und Hilfsbereit. Mein Mann konnte nicht schlafen, da die Matratze zu weich war. Sie haben einen harten Topper organisiert und danach war es einfach perfekt. Sie versuchen einem wirklich jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die private Bootstour ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Hatten den oberen Bungalow. Das Betreiber-Ehepaar ist super nett und kümmert sich. Haben darüber dann auch völlig problemlos einen Motorroller für 2 Tage gemietet.

The bungalow is cute, with a larger balcony and an awesome view- a great place for morning coffee and sunrise. Don't miss the sunrise! Good value for its price.

Het is een mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras. De host is zorgzaam en vriendelijk.

Het is een hele stijle klim naar boven, er is tegenover het resort in de periode augustus nauwelijks tot geen water in de baai. Het strand trok ons niet om te gaan liggen. Na 1 nacht besloten om elders een resort te vinden met zwembad om zo te kunnen afkoelen.

On a adoré notre séjour ici ! La vue depuis le bungalow et le lieu du petit déjeuner est magnifique, le petit déjeuner est très bon, les propriétaires sont adorables. La location de scooter est pratique pour visiter l’île. Il y a plusieurs restaurants sympa à proximité.

Hillhouse exceeded our expectations. We had Glang 2 - and a gorgeous view and complete privacy. The greeting on arrival was warm and genuine. We rented a scooter from the property which was so convenient. The bungalows are like tree houses, so there are gaps between walls and roof etc but it all adds to the charm. The net for the bed was excellent, the the air con great (if a little noisy). We didn't have mosquito issues although we do always travel with and use plug in mosquito repellers. We stayed in the monsoon season but had good weather and although there were 3 National holidays over our 4 night stay we still found there were great local places to eat within walking distance (after enjoying the delicious breakfast of course). Particularly good is the neighbouring restaurant Tha Khao bay view. Beautiful view and delicious local food - plus a private forest walkway between it and Hillhouse bungalows. Oh - and there were Hornbills all around the bungalow. This in one of those rare places that I felt genuinely sad to leave

This isn't a negative - but be conscious that the beaches are not great for swimming - it's a tidal area which has it's own beauty of an ever changing view

Zwei Punkte, die den Aufenthalt für und noch besser gemacht hätten: - Wasserspender (zur Reduktion von PET-Flaschen) - Nachttisch/Beistelltisch im Zimmer zur Ablage

Nous étions dans le Glang 3 et la vue était sublime. Le logement était propre, le petit déjeuner était bon. L’hôtel a pu nous louer un scooter donc c’était pratique. Le personnel n’était pas très souriant (mais serviable). La literie était très confortable.

Sur les deux nuits passées nous avons eu des soucis avec la climatisation et l’électricité en général. Cela se coupait mais pas totalement, les lumières et la fonction refroidissement de la climatisation ne fonctionnaient pas, donc on a eu chaud et on a très mal dormi. Avoir de l’eau potable, au moins accessible au niveau du restaurant, aurait été appréciable pour un hôtel de ce prix là.

The breakfast was incredible! The views were amazing and exceeded all our expectations. Everything we could’ve wanted to do we asked the staff and they were happy to help with everything. We did the most amazing boat ride which we booked whilst we were there. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay it was beautiful. We could also see the sunrise from our room!!!!

Reception lady had a weird manner upon our check out which was not very friendly. Also lots of mosquito’s and noisy nature insects at night.

Not much! Ended up leaving early to not ruin my entire vacation at this property.

This place is a mosquito nightmare- set into the jungle on a hillside away from the beach and breeze. Beware if you like your sanity- the mosquitos are a hell and confined me to the room. Stay closer to beach with breeze if you plan on being outside. Also- no furniture in a bungalow? Not even a side table? Literally sat on the floor- crazy. Poorly constructed wooden bungalows with large gaps in the flooring also allow for insects inside unfortunately. Very hard to believe all the glowing reviews of this place- also very unhelpful staff- much better value elsewhere.

This is by far the best stay I have ever had. It made me cancel my plans to go out and stay in the property. People are truly amazing and kind and oh god the view from the Balcony feels unreal even in reality. Will definitely return back to stay for longer time. And they have the best restaurant with great view, amazing food at such affordable prices!!!

Wir waren im März hier,und hatten 2 wunderschöne Tage hier verbracht! Leider nur 2! Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Der Besitzer ist ganz herzlich und alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet! Unbedingt ein Ausflug mit dem Boot des Besitzers unternehmen - falls möglich 🤗 Alles top!

I loved everything about Hillhouse. The bungalow was just gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable. The views were out of this world but what made it really special was the people 🤍 The welcome we got at Hillhouse was so warm and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They are amazing!

Everything about Hillhouse is perfect. The views are 10/10. The mango sticky rice and breakfast were perfect and the owners went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible

Wir hatten sehr heisse Temperaturen und dementsprechend war es ohne Klimaanlage nicht zum Aushalten.

Die tolle Aussicht und Lage der Bungalows. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, man kann über die Unterkunft alles organisieren (Roller, Taxi, Ausflüge). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sofort wieder hier übernachten.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre est parfaitement équipée, confortable et la vue est tout simplement magnifique — un vrai point fort qui rend l’expérience très agréable.

Malheureusement, malgré ces aspects très positifs, nous ne pouvons pas attribuer 5 étoiles en raison d’un gros point négatif concernant la gestion. Nous avons loué un scooter auprès de l’hôtel pour 200 bahts la journée. Nous l’avons pris à 19h20 et devions le rendre peu après, mais une pluie extrêmement forte s’est abattue, rendant la route dangereuse. Par prudence, nous avons préféré attendre que cela se calme, et avons finalement rendu le scooter à 20h20, soit seulement une heure plus tard. Au lieu de faire preuve de compréhension face à une situation liée à la sécurité, la gérante a choisi de nous facturer une journée complète supplémentaire, sans aucune flexibilité. Cette attitude, très orientée vers l’aspect financier, laisse un goût amer et donne le sentiment que l’argent passe avant la sécurité et le bien-être des clients.

The quiet peaceful area. I could relax on my hammock in the morning with a cup of tea and listen to all the birds and animals surrounding. Its a nature lovers, PARADISE

Schöne kleine Bungalow Anlage, etwas erhöht gelegen , mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht. Liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück Kleines Restaurant gleich daneben mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht und leckerem Essen Ideal, wenn ihr tagsüber die Insel erkunden wollt

Wir wollten uns keinen Roller mieten, sondern den Tag am Resort verbringen. Auf der Terrasse war es jedoch zu heiß tagsüber und am Natur Strand standen keine Liegen, Abkühlen war auch nicht möglich, da das Wasser sich zurück zog.Es war auch niemand dort und nicht einladend Wir haben den Tag somit als Tagesgäste im benachbarten Yoga Resort am Pool verbracht, welches glücklicherweise noch geöffnet war. „Probleme „ gab es auch beim aus checken. Ein Bild lag unserer Meinung nach auf dem Regal ( über Blickhöhe, daher konnte man es nicht sehen) und beim runter nehmen unserer Sachen ist es mit runter gefallen, wurde uns bei der Kaution abgezogen.

A really nice place with amazing views and super helpfull staff! They people running the bungalows were super responsive online and very helpful with information at the spot - so informative, nice and trustable :) Also, breakfasts were delicious - the complimentary fruit shake and mango sticky rice being a great treat ☺️ I wanna come back next year!

Die Lage ist wirklich unglaublich, der Ausblick beim Sonnenaufgang ist unvergleichlich Wir würden auf jeden Fall für den Sonnenaufgang alleine nochmal hier übernachten

Very quiet and the perfect place to lie in a hammock all day while reading a book. Delicious breakfast and helpful staff. The tide goes out a long way so you can walk out to Ko Nui or try to catch a crab (thousands of them!). Our highlight was staying up to watch the thunderstorms over on the mainland.

Obviously people will complain about it being on a hill but you don't get a stunning view without walking a little uphill!

Die Aussicht war sehr schön und die Unterkunft traditionell und sauber. Die Dusche war grosszügig. Das Frühstück (Pancake oder Eierspeisen sowie frische Smoothies) wurde liebevoll zubereitet.

Es war extrem heiss in der Unterkunft. Es hatte zwar eine Klimaanlage, aber da diese direkt und stark auf das Bett geblasen hat, konnte man sie nachts nicht laufen lassen. Etwas Abwechslung bei der Konfitüre wäre auch nicht schlecht. Es gab jeden Tag nur dieselbe. Die Bank auf der Terrasse ist hart und es gibt nur eine Hängematte, sodass es jeweils nur eine Person bequem hat. Das Gepäck wurde bei der Abreise nicht abgeholt, man musste es selbst den steilen Hang hinunter bringen.

Wir waren hier leider nur eine Nacht. Die Unterkunft ist echt traumhaft. Wir konnten von der Hängematte den Sonnenaufgang beobachten. Der Aufstieg von der Hauptstraße zu den Baumhäusern ist halb so schlimm. Mit Roller natürlich kein Problem, aber auch zu Fuß für jeden machbar.

Wunderschöne Aussicht vom Zimmer aus, der Sonnenaufgang ist unvergleichlich! Sehr sauber, Roller kann man direkt vor Ort mieten. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll angerichtet - ma. bekommt Mango Sticky Rice sowie einen Fruchtshake und darf zwischen Eierspeise und Pancake mit Früchten wählen!

A perfect stay, no wonder it's booked out. The hosts have found the perfect balance of serenity and tranquility. We couldn't have asked for more.

Hillhouse was one of the most magical stays we had during our trip. The balcony and views are outstanding. Being on the sunrise side of the island, it was so special to wake up to. The doors fold completely back to open the room up to the stunning scenery and surroundings. It's such a gem, tucked away, you would pass it without noticing. I'm so glad we had the chance to stay in such a luscious and serene setting. The breakfast was wonderful, mango sticky rice was perfect in itself, nevermind the extra choices. Try the coconut smoothie.

Lokalizacja i widok z tarasu był niesamowity. Śniadania były bardzo dobre, mango sticky rice i coconut milk shake wspaniale! Domek był świetnie wyposażony, niczego nie brakowało. Wypożyczyliśmy też skuter od właściciela i przez trzy dni zwiedzaliśmy wyspę. Na pewno wrócimy!

Nous venons de quitter Hill House sur l'île de Ko Yao Noi avec, déjà, un peu de nostalgie. L'île est déjà magnifique, mais cette petite structure est un vrai paradis en pleine nature avec vue sur mer et les îles "rochers" au loin....Quels levers de soleil inoubliables ! Quels petits déjeuners frais et délicieux, avec vue imprenable sur la baie ! Quelles découvertes nature : calaos volant le soir et se posant tout près de nous, écureuils, geckos, grenouilles, lézards... Mais le "gros plus", ce sont les adorables propriétaires, Raw et Don, d'une gentillesse extrême et d'une prévenance inégalable. Nous nous sommes dit que si le monde n'était occupé que par des gens comme eux, la planète tournerait beaucoup mieux en 2026...

Top Lage, super freundliche und hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, Bungalows stehen in einem traumhaften Garten, alles tiptop sauber, traumhafter Ausblick auf die Natur, ein Kleinod - wir waren mehrfach hier und es ist immer wieder das Highlight in unserem Urlaub

The view is the most amazing view ever - you absolutely have to get up for sunrise it’s incredible. The staff were lovely and so helpful, they helped us to sort a taxi back to the pier. Breakfast is great, you make your own hot drink and have a choice of different style eggs or pancakes, and a choice of fresh fruit smoothies. The rooms were lovely, the AC made nice and cool. Walking distance to nearby bars and cafes/restaurant. We had a scooter so we got to go around the island and explore a little more.

We liked the location and the experience.

24 hrs before our booking we were informed that there is going to be power outage for the whole island. Considering how remote or accomodation was and in the jungle we did not find it safe anymore considering the power outage . My wife was scared of having no light in middle of nature and felt very anxious and unsafe , so we informed the accommodation and Booking we will be needing a refund, that was not resolved unfortunately although we payed to stay somewhere else not affected by the power outage.

Great views of the sunrise. Big room with very comfy bed. Property is beautiful and very Thai. Breakfast was nice. Staff are great.

Bit of a steep walk up if you don’t have a motorbike.

Hillhouse was the highlight of our 6 week stay in Thailand, we fell in love with Koh Yai Noi and Hillhouse. Sat on our balcony watching 60 hornbills flying past was amazing and we loved our little frog that lived in our bathroom. At sunset and sunrise the noise from the local wildlife is incredible- some may say deafening but only lasts 1/2 an hour then all peaceful again- if you love wildlife this place is definitely for you - we will be back. Dan and his lovely wife and niece run this place beautifully and are so helpful, breakfast is fantastic- there really is nothing not to love about this place.

Another wonderful stay here. Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Our bungalow was beautiful and spotlessly clean with a wonderful view over the ocean. Daily cleaning & topping up of toiletries. Delicious breakfast served.

Maybe have a small clothes drying rack on the balcony.
