The host Adela is a wonderful friendly and helpful person - she excels at the breakfasts and the variety and freshness of the food was fantastic - the cleanliness of the place is outstanding both inside the house and outside garden The location is superb overlooking the harbor and you can sit in the conservatory and take in the magnificent views I don't have any negatives about the accommodation - the food or the host - it was a great vacation

The location is simply stunning. Breakfast was copious and varied,facilities excellent. Added bonus of an excellent restaurant within walking distance. Adela very accommodating host.

The location was beautiful just overlooking the harbour and in a lovely village. Adela, our host could not have been more helpful, accommodating and welcoming. Her house was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations and not only tasted fresh and delicious but beautifully presented.This was a really lovely stay in a beautiful location.

We loved everything especially the views from the room, the breakfast, the friendly owner, the cleanliness and the level of detail. It is a very well run bed and breakfast and highly recommended.

It seems churlish to mention but the towels were rather on the small side. Would have preferred a bath sheet.

All a wonderful experience. Union Hall is a beautiful village.

The location is fantastic with stunning views of both Union Hall and Glandore. The hospitality and welcome from Adela were wonderful. The accommodation is very well maintained. We felt at home instantly. We'll be back.

Das Haus liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse direkt am Pier. Toller Blick vom Zimmer aufs Meer, die große Terrasse ist ein Traum. Absolute Ruhe und Entspannung. Die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich, das Frühstück hervorragend.

We enjoyed a relaxing 2 night break in Union Hall, in this very comfortable, beautiful well kept property. Adela was an excellent host and gave great advice on trips to take locally. Breakfast was gorgeous each morning great attention to detail. Beautiful views of the harbour and surrounding area from this very well kept property. Cleanliness is excellent through out this beautifully furnished home. Hopefully we will return again soon!!

Chambre située dans un charmant petit port, chambre spacieuse, propre, confortable. Adela est une hôtesse très accueillante qui donne de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et très copieux avec des produis de qualité (bcp de fruits frais).

Il n’y pas de gel douche/shampoing dans les chambres. Le petit déjeuner est plus orienté sucré que salé ( mais tout dépend des goûts !)

The property was in a great position, overlooking the water. The view is beautiful. Adella was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of excellent information about where to visit and nothing was too much trouble for her. The continental breakfast was also very good indeed. We didn’t need anything else to eat until the evening! Two local pubs serve good food so no need to drive out to find something if you don’t want to.

Die sehr schöne Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig in einer Bucht des Atlantiks. Der Blick über die Bucht ist traumhaft schön, sowohl von den Zimmern als auch vom Frühstücksraum. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück hat alles geboten, was ein gutes Frühstück ausmacht, von Kaffee und Tee über Toast, Croissants, Käse, Wurst, gekochten Eiern, Müsli und ganz frischem Obst. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und gibt viele tolle Ausflugs-Tipps.

Stayed for 8 days in a balcony room. It was a beautiful property, great views, fantastic breakfasts, amazing hostess she couldn’t do enough for us. A 10+ ⭐️Definitely recommend.

Adela is very friendly and helpful. The house has a lovely, warm, welcoming atmosphere and is beautifully furnished and decorated. The views are glorious, looking onto the hills and the bay. Cleanliness is excellent throughout.

Beautiful house. The location is great, making Baltimore,Bantry and Kenmare all within easy reach. Breakfasts were fantastic. .Good options for evening meals nearby in Glanmore or locally in the village.

We had a wonderful stay at Shearwater Country House Accommodation. Adela is a fantastic host, warm and welcoming in every way. The views from the B&B are absolutely stunning, and the breakfast was delightful, with fresh fruits and delicious salmon pâté. We only stayed one night, which certainly wasn’t enough, and we would love to return.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting - great for exploring West Cork. Adela was a great host and the property was very comfortable for our three night stay. We enjoyed the views from the balcony.

That was my second time in Shearwater and I absolutely loved it. I went with my daughter to rewind after a stressful time and we couldn't choose a better place. Adela is a lovely host the house is beautiful and extremely clean. Delicious breakfast. Hopefully we will be back again.

The owner cancelled the booking on arrival due to my disability as all rooms were accessible bus steep stair case. She took payment for 1 room as a cancellation fee even though she cancelled our rooms. She did try to get us rooms and got 2 rooms at the West Cork Hotel which Booking.com canceled the rooms as my card had a block on it and did not give me time to unblock my card. I had the card in minutes but lost 2 rooms I had booked. My card has a block due to scammers but it was unblocked immediately but I lost the rooms had booked. It would be helpful if hotels stated not suitable for physical disabled clients
