Anny's Warehouse City Centre!

The location was perfect! 5 minute walk from train station, Dam Square, and Anne Frank House. Right in the middle of everything. And there was so much room to spread out and relax. After staying in a cramped hotel room the night before, this was such a breath of fresh air.

To get to the living space, you have to go up very steep and tiny wooden staircase. Terrible if you have luggage or are elderly / bad knees Quite old so be warned

Location is great. Living room, kitchen and bedroom were comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies. Heating worked well. The bedroom was very quiet.

24 very steep steps to get to the second floor. That's quite a challenge with a suitcase. The bathroom is very small and looks old. The picture of the living room has clearly been photoshopped. In reality things are much older than that picture suggests.

Very clean and spacious - close to train station and restaurants. Attention to detail regarding amenities provided.

More about items to be aware of- steps to the apartment are steep (vs what you would expect in the States) which is typical of traditional accommodations in Holland. Also you can lock the apartment door when you are present but cannot lock it when you leave. Security is provided by the entrance door to the street.

Location was great. Very close to Amsterdam Central Train station which made getting there very easy. Instructions for checking in and getting the keys was perfect. Bed was comfortable and everything we needed was thoughtfully available

Very clean. Very central. 5 minute walk to Amsterdam Central station. The apartment contained everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Hard to identify any negative issues. The stairs leading to the apartment might be an issue for people with mobility difficulties but we had no problem.

Our stay was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. Communication with Anny was super easy -- she was responsive to our every question and quick to reply. The location was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Lots of character. Nicely furnished in a very homely way. Spacious and bright and we had everything we needed plus a nice touch of basic provision. The hospitality was definitely there and in a thoughtful and generous way.

Climbing up the steps and into the shower was a bit hard for me but I do accept it’s an old property

En hiver, dans la salle de bain il fait froid. Mais c'est une très vieille et charmante maison, pas facile à moderniser.

It was very nice, clean, and basically soundproof, even as it was on a very busy central street.

I struggled mightily with the skeleton key to open the door to go both in and out of the building. The lockbox was also very different from any other lockbox I've dealt with. I was given no instructions for how to manage these basic things. It once took me 20 minutes to open the door to go out. Thus the apartment is a fire hazard. There was also no one to meet me as the description indicated there would be. I had to cut my stay short and go to a hotel because I was nervous I'd miss my flight trying to open the door. Far more attention to this matter is necessary.

The familiarity. This was i think my 9th stay at the apartment.

Located just 8 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal station, this spacious 1st floor apartment offers a great street view of shops and the side of the old church. Close proximity to everything by virtue of location. Anny herself is very pleasant and mindful of her guests.

Decent room. Anny has thoughtfully put information, books, articles etc in the room. Felt very helpful and personal.

The map location off the Booking.com leads to a wrong place, key the address into your Google maps manually instead. The stairs in the house are pretty steep, might pose difficulties for persons with limited mobility.

Everything about the apartment is great. I have stayed many times and I intend to continue you to stay here when I visit the city. Anny, please let me know when you release next year's calendar.

Easy walk to Centraal station to take train to airport & meet up with tours such as canal boats. Jordaan neighborhood was also an easy walk. Trams nearby get you to museums & anywhere else in city. Anny provided tour books and multiple adaptors, even a converter. Got to meet her on the last day and she explained the history of the property dating to the early 1600s! Light & airy, felt spacious, bedroom on interior courtyard. Very comfortable accommodations

I rented Anna’s apartment for a trip to Amsterdam with my granddaughter. Anny was excellent at answering my questions and provided an amazing apartment! It was very clean and well decorated. It is in a great location….walkable from Central Station and close to so many good restaurants! I would love to return to this apartment for a future visit!

The apartment had everything for a comfortable stay and was very spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fabulous central location but with the great advantage of also being quiet at nighttime. Very sensible organisation for arrival and some useful provisions. Spacious and clean.

Rather sterile and unattractive lounge room furniture and decor. Bad smell of drains one day but this passed.

The location 6 minutes walking from Centraal station, and one street away from Singal canal was excellent for sightseeing. It was quiet and we loved being in the old building. Anny had provided more than enough coffee pods, teas and other products so we only needed to buy any perishables. There were interesting books on Amsterdam available. Anny was very helpful. The rooms were large and warm and it is possible to alter the temperature thermostat.

Location is good for walking access to tourist areas, but with a few ‘Red Light’ window-displays very close. Apartment is spacious and well equipped. Beds are comfortable.

We arrived at 01:00 in the morning, due to flight delays. For first timers in Amsterdam, the arrival at that time was awful! Red light ladies were not nice to see… Did not expect that, as I was under the impression that the location was outside of the Red Light district.. The steps inside to the apartment are extremely steep, especially with luggage. Accommodation in Amsterdam is really very expensive!

Anny’s apartment was in an excellent location. So many sights and restaurants and shops were within easy walking distance including the tram stops. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and full of many simple but helpful accommodations that made me say Anny has thought of everything. Anny herself was extremely helpful, routinely keeping in touch and answering questions throughout our stay. The only small caution is the two flights of stairs to get up to the apartment. It was a bit of a challenge for a couple of 70 year olds with two heavy suitcases. But by taking our time, it was easily managed. I would definitely try to stay here again next time we visit Amsterdam.

It is central, with beautiful decor and a clean, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Every detail was thoughtfully executed. High-end, comfortable bed remote control for posture. Safe and Private. Overall, the flat was in excellent condition, giving me a little taste of living in Amsterdam. (if you get the chance to stay here, go for it you won’t regret) Also, a great host, Anny, went above and beyond when we forgot some items on the property and got them couriered to our home. So, once again, many thanks. We hope to come again next time.

The Dutch stairs but in honesty they are not as steep as many I have encountered but must be noted if you have mobility issues. Positives with these they are well lit and have good foot space.

I liked that the place had the feel of a classic Amsterdam apartment, giving an authentic sense of the city’s interior style

I was disappointed with my stay. The place was listed as a hotel, but it turned out to be a hostel with steep, unsafe stairs to the second floor. I had specifically selected hotels in the search filters and expected a proper hotel experience, not a hostel charging hotel prices.

It was in a great location. So many things within walking distance but a few blocks out of the main tourist area. The gentleman with the art store was very helpful with helping us get in. The bed was adjustable which was great. She had umbrellas which came in handy. The coffee machine was fantastic. The kitchen had a lot of equipment. Just little things like a drying rack for dishes made things so easy. The apartment is of good size. There were bathrobes and extra towels

Prices for lodging in Amsterdam are through the roof but this was a real good bang for your dollar or Euro. Americans love their ice and there was no ice tray. I have to remember to bring one myself next trip over, LOL

Anny’s was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was perfect for two people. Everything was within walking distance, especially Jordaan which was the area we liked best. it was nice that lots of espresso pods were provided for the entire stay.

steps were step ands narrow, but that’s Amsterdam and the price was high, but again, that’s Amsterdam.

Everything in the apartment was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Coffee pods, tea, and basic kitchen supplies were all provided. The wifi worked well. Anny thought of everything - there were even plug outlet adaptors and a safe! It was very clean and organized. We liked that the location was not far from the train station, and other attractions in the city were very walkable from there.

The stairs up from Street level were rather narrow and steep, but it's an historic building, so that is not unexpected.

It was just like the photos. Very tranquil, just off the busy streets. The bed was very comfy. I would have liked to have been able to push the twin beds together, to create a double.

Good, central location within 10 mins walk of the station. The building was surprisingly quiet for a city centre. We were pleased to be able to stay in a traditional Amsterdam house, with solid wooden beams and steep staircase, to the apartment and to feel closer to the history of the city.

Given this was an apartment, the only cooking facility was a multi function microwave. An electric ring or something similar would have been useful. The steep, narrow stairs could cause issues for older people. We managed, but being in our late 60's took the stairs very cautiously.

It is not meant for a long stay: there is no kitchen, only a microwave oven. There is a small fridge but no dishwasher nor washing machine

There is a flight of stairs I was not aware of. They were very narrow. The locks were clunky to work through each time. Not an operational kitchen. Wished it had a hot plate to make eggs at least. The apartment was cold at night

Door to apartment doesn’t lock from the outside, so can’t lock the door when you leave. Front door on the street is very secure though, so not really an issue.

We had a very nice stay in Amsterdam. The apartment exceeded our expectations and the location is perfect. We loved that it has a small kitchen (with coffee, tea, oil, etc. included), the owner really takes care of all the details! Such a good experience :)

Lovely flat, very clean, fantastic location - close to the main attractions and only a short walk to the train station. The bedroom faces a courtyard, so there's no noise disturbing the guests' sleep. Very private. Easy self-check in. Comfortable beds. Nice water pressure. Easy to communicate with the host via booking messages.

It was not possible to leave our luggages at the flat for two extra hours (even if there were new guests coming after us for two days). I was told this was due to the cleaner's schedule, but I would have appreciated some flexibility.

Even though we entered the facility on time, the house was not cleaned. There was garbage left over from the previous customer. The bathroom was very small and cold. No dishwasher no washing machine.

Lovely spacious apartment with modern appliances and lovely little touches like fabulous coffee machine and plenty of capsules. Very well positioned in Amsterdam city centre for easy exploration. Lots of reference materials and map for planning the daily itinerary. Lovely host who was very attentive and readily available. Comfy beds and strong hot water shower.

The only negative point is that to get to the apartment there are two very steep flights of stairs with very narrow steps. It did not affect my stay at all, but for older people it is a problem.

Excellent location near to the Centraal station with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the canals were only minutes walk away. There is a good supermarket within 5 minutes walk. The light, spacious apartment was really well equipped with kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, fridge, toaster and combination oven. The beds were super comfortable (and motorised!) and there were helpful touches for getting ready such as full length mirrors in the hall and bedroom with a plug socket nearby for hairdryer/styler, and as an illuminated make-up mirror on the bedroom dressing table. An iron and ironing board were provided, as were travel adapters. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and the kitchen had the basics you'd need but don't want to buy for a short stay such as salt and pepper and oils. Anny was really accommodating in allowing us to leave our bags at the property after the checkout time as our flight was in the evening. I would definitely stay here if visiting Amsterdam again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Nothing really, but if was going to be really, really picky, a plug in the bathroom sink would have been useful for the occasions you wanted to fill the bowl and freshen up without having a shower. However, I'm almost embarrassed to mention it as everything else was so great.
