Cena riquísima. Desayuno aun mejor. Habitación grande, limpia, con vistas. Un lugar más que recomendable. Si lo hubiera sabido me habría quedado más tiempo aquí en lugar de en willpattu. A un paseo del lago Muy recomendable

Nice comfortable room. Great location to visit sites. The historic was very helpful and spoke god English. This was our first location in Sri Lanka and she gave food advice and organised 1 trips with a very good tuktuk driver and guide to see the main sites. Excellent traditional breakfast and we ordered lunch one day, too. The food was great. Go up to the terrace and give right up all the stairs for a great view!! We had a beer up there one night which was lovely.

Struttura semplice ma confortevole e pulita. Le camere sono ampie e dotate di tutto il necessario. La coppia che gestisce la struttura è davvero molto gentile e premurosa. Noi abbiamo anche cenato ed il cibo era delizioso ed abbondante, cucinato per noi tenendo conto delle nostre richieste. Anche la colazione è molto ricca e comprende anche alcuni piatti tipici dello sri lanka oltre a uova, pane tostato, marmellata e frutta. La vista sui campi di riso è affascinante e c'è anche una torretta panoramica da cui si può godere di un bellissimo tramonto.

Qualche dettaglio potrebbe essere più curato in termini di pulizia. Purtroppo in camera nostra abbiamo trovato un grosso insetto (che non saprei dire cos'era), cosa che a me spaventa molto. Trattandosi di una struttura nei campi è comprensibile, ma lo segnalo perché può rappresentare un piccolo inconveniente.

Tolle Unterkunft mit einer atenberaubenden Ausssicht. Schöne Dachterasse mit super Aussicht. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und Personal. Gutes Frühstück und ausgezeichnetes Abendwäessen. Grosses Zimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Personalnist hilfsbereit und hilft auch für die Buchung von Ausflügen oder Touren. Lage ist etwas ausserhalb, mit dem TukTuk, welches einfach über die Pickme App gebucht werden kann, ist man aber schnell im Zentrum.

Zimmer ist gegen den Gang etwas hellhörig. Wasserdruck der Dusche nicht sehr stark aber ausreichend.

Gestori estremamente accoglienti e disponibili. Ci hanno detto di prendercela comoda con il check out. Bellissima stanza sulle risaie. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil. Chambre simple mais confortable, avec vue sur les rizières. Il est possible de manger sur place et le petit déjeuner était très bon. Il a été possible de réserver le safari via l’hôte et de louer des vélos avec un hôtel à côté.

Un peu loin du centre ville (mais en soi on le savait).

Lovely homestay on the outskirts of Anuradhapura with wonderful views from the balcony. Room was comfortable and hosts were friendly. Easy to reach the ancient city with a tuk tuk.

The guesthouse is situated on the beautiful rice fields with easy access to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. There is a wonderful tower to view the surrounding countryside. The family were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastische locatie en ligging. Mooie ruime kamers met prachtig uitzicht. Kamers zijn schoon. Heerlijk vers ontbijt en ook in de avond heerlijke maaltijd van de gastvrouw. Fantastisch personeel. Via de locatie een fietstocht met gids geboekt, erg leuk.

Schöne Lage mit Blick auf die Reisfelder.

Perfect. Lieve familie, lekker ontbijt en avondeten, mooie kamer en prachtig uitzicht. Ik mocht zelfs meerijden naar de stad toen de vader zijn zoon ophaalde van school.

Niks alleen als tip misschien leuk om de tafels wat te mixen bij het diner als meerdere gasten dat willen.

Eine sehr freundliche Familie betreibt das Hotel. Alle waren stets freundlich und ihr Essen war ausgezeichnet. Sehr hilfsbereit beim Organisieren von Tagesausflügen etc… Wir kommen gerne wieder!

L’endroit est calme et en retrait du centre de la ville (5 min en voiture). Les chambres sont spacieuses et la vue sur les rizières sont incroyables. L’emplacement est très calme. La salle de bain est un peu sommaire mais fonctionnelle. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils et vous préparerons de très bons repas locaux pour un rapport qualité prix/ prix imbattable. C’est vraiment un très bon plan

Le jardin pourrait être aménagé pour pouvoir s’y reposer ou prendre le petit déjeuner mais c’est déjà très bien

Prachtig uitzicht, zeer vriendelijke host.

A delightful family-run business with a rare personal touch. The family couldn’t do enough to fulfil all our wishes, and were helpful in the extreme. The breakfasts were first class, and the evening meals were home cooked, extremely generous and inexpensive. The view from the balcony looked out over uninterrupted rice fields.

The room could have had a TV provided - there was provision on the wall.

De rustige ogeving, maar vooral de vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van de mensen. We zijn er namiddag aangekomen na een lange rit en binnen de 20 min kregen we een heerlijke lunch voorgeschoteld. Ook bij het regelen van taxi, tuktuk en gids werden we met de glimlach bijgestaan.

Het prachtige uitzicht. Een mooie propere kamer en een ruime badkamer. Alles was heel netjes en ze hielpen ons met het regelen van een uitstap naar de stad. En het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en heerlijk.

Zeer gastvrije, vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Het ontbijt en diner waren erg goed, heerlijk van smaak en vers.

Muy buen hotel en Anhuradupura, con unas vistas de los arrozales increíbles desde la habitación. Todo muy cómodo, muy amables, y genial.

Rustig plek met een prachtig uitzicht. Mooie ruime kamers met comfortabele bedden (wij hadden 2 kamers). Ontbijt was gevarieerd en lekker.

Unica cosa positiva la vista dei campi di riso, con la palma da cocco in primo piano, il giorno prima che li tagliassero. Perché poi, una volta tagliato il riso, anche la vista era piuttosto squallida.

Struttura vecchia e maltenuta, in una stradina stretta e poco invitante. Accoglienza insignificante, neanche un succo di frutta di benvenuto come in tutte le altre strutture di vario livello dove siamo stati in Sri Lanka. Camera sporca, bagno vecchio, piastrelle rotte, tubi a vista. Scale con pianerottoli in abbandono e con oggetti dimenticati lì. Ma forse non se ne rendono conto.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The room was beautiful, and waking up every morning with that view was wonderful. The Rooftop is fantastic Bed was comfy, breakfast and dinner delicious The staff was so helpful, helped us to arrange our scooter rental and also organised for us to go to the neighbours homestay to use their swimming pool.

De ruime kamer met zeer groot terras en waanzinnig uitzicht! Ook de uitkijktoren was fijn om van het prachtige landschap te genieten bij zonsopgang en zonsondergang.

Het ontbijt was minder lekker dan verwacht.

The location is great. Not crowded outside, yet close to the city center. The staff is absolutely lovely and will help you with anything. There are some insects, but in Sri Lanka during the hot season that's what you can expect and it didn't bother us too much. We did the temple tour with their recommended tuktuk driver, would recommend 10/10. The bed was very comfortable and the room well air-conditioned, that's most important.

The bathroom wasn't very comfortable. The shower head was mounted to the wall, so I had to hold it while showering (maybe just our room). Also the massage after dark, was one big mosquito farm with the window open and the lights on. I had to kill multiple mosquito's during the massage, it was not relaxing at all. So I guess don't get a massage after dark. The massage itself was very good.

Het was wel heel basic en geen koelkastje aanwezig.

We had a wonderful time. The room 303 offers an amazing view to the rice fields. There is no growing time but instead you can watch many many birds - really beautiful. The owner and also the staff of the hotel are so lovely people. The smiled every time and fulfill every request we had, for example bicycles for our tour to the sacred city. The provide massage service which was one of the best massage I had in Sri Lanka. Of course the food was also good.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, geben gleich bei Ankunft super Überblick über die Gegend und Sehenswürdigkeiten, konnten direkt in der Unterkunft Fahrräder für den Besuch der Ancient City mieten. Tuktuk Transport zum Mihintale Tempel wurde auch organisiert. Lunch oder Abendessen ist ebenfalls erhältlich.

What a lovely hotel. We were given a lovely big white washed room with a very comfortable bread. Views were over a rice fields- very quiet and peaceful. We went for a really nice country walk first thing in the morning. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. They cooked us a delicious fried rice lunch and breakfast was good.

My only gripe was the bathroom floor. The bathroom is small and the tiles are on three layers so it’s easy to trip.

Het uitzicht op de rijstvelden had echt een wauw-effect. Je kon ook helemaal tot boven in het gebouw gaan voor een prachtig zicht over de hele streek. Ook hier was het personeel opnieuw zeer vriendelijk.

The people running this place are lovely. Very kind and helpful. All the meals were excellent especially freshly prepared breakfast. The view out over the rice fields is indeed lovely , with dawn especially beautiful as the mist rises. You can happily pass an hour or two just sitting in the balcony watching the light change.

The property looks very tired. The bathroom was especially poor. We had repeated problems with a bad smell from the toilet and water pressure was very low in the shower. I was surprised that this was described as a 4 star accommodation. The location was a bit far from the old city so probably wouldn’t have chosen it if I’d realised.

De kamer is outdated. De douchestang van de douche was kapot waardoor ontspannen en fijn douchen niet mogelijk was. Daarnaast stak er een schroef uit de grond in de badkamer.

Mosquitos in the dining room. Lovely sitting area with views at the top of the rood but no one ever told us it was there. Saw three rooms and the one with the palm tree growing thru the balcony obvs the best. Biggest was the ground floor but not as breezy and fewer views (but had the bath)

Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Wij vonden de rustige locatie ook perfect. De gastvrouw regelde voor ons een toer door Anuradhapura met een geweldige gids en zeer betaalbaar! Echt een aanrader. We mochten heel vroeg inchecken en kregen onze kamer al in de ochtend. Onze gastvrouw maakte echt een heerlijk diner voor ons, waarvoor dank!

De insecten in de kamer, maar je zit natuurlijk aan rijstvelden dus dit is begrijpelijk.

This is a great little bed and breakfast with a gorgeous view over the rice fields. The owners are so friendly and the facilities are simple but clean and comfortable. We ate both breakfast and dinner on site and the food was excellent - fresh, tasty and home cooked. We'd highly recommend this to anyone in the area - great value for money.

The road getting to the hotel is a bit bumpy. Not an issue but just be warned!

La vue sur les rizières depuis la chambre avec la terrasse est vraiment le point fort de ce logement. Possibilité de manger sur place, ce que nous avons vraiment apprécié!

Chambre basique. Ceci dit il y a tout ce qu'il faut, donc ca ne nous a pas dérangé!

Nicht nur Insta-worthy Ambiente und Ausblick, sondern wirklich schöne, komfortable Zimmer (wir hatten das Glück, Zimmer 302 zu ergattern), sehr nette Gastgeber, und sehr lecker Essen. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht da, aber würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Die Dusche bedurfte etwas Erklärung, funktionierte dann aber gut. Ein wenig abgelegen, das macht andere den Charme aus!

Die Aussicht von Zimmer 202 war einfach klasse! Genau wie beschrieben. Dass kein Fernseher da war, ist bei dieser Aussicht völlig egal. Wir haben Räder gemietet, das hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Dachaussicht ziemlich spektakulär, 5 Stupas von hier erkennbar ( bis die Palmen zu hoch werden)

Wie üblich alles sehr hellhörig. Da sind die Rufe der Pfaue und das Vogelgezwitscher besser erträglich.

This family guesthouse must rate as our very best stay on our 6 week+ tour of Sri Lanka. The guesthouse has lovely views overlooking the paddy fields, has immaculately clean comfortable rooms, complete with AC, mosquito nets, and warm showers. We stayed here for four nights and opted for half board. The breakfasts and dinners were different each day, were freshly cooked/homemade and delicious. What also made this place so very special were the host and the very amazing staff, who were so helpful, attentive and engaging. Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful and memorable, and we can highly recommend this guesthouse to any potential visitors to the area. 🙏 Gwynne & Christine

La vue depuis la chambre du dernier étage est magnifique, avec un panorama apaisant sur les rizières. Les hôtes sont très attentionnés, serviables et préparent de bons plats.

Les chambres sont vieillissantes et les salles de bains manquent de modernité. L’accès au toit-terrasse est particulièrement dangereux, ce qui pose un vrai problème de sécurité.

Sehr herzliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Hotel Managerin hat sich viel Zeit für uns genommen, um uns gute Tipps zu geben und uns Pflanzen und Früchte zu erklären. Wir können den Ort sehr empfehlen!
