Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits en août. La chambres étaiet bien équipée et propre (peut être un petit manque de place pour les valises). Nous avons pu louer des vélos sur place pour visiter le site de Anuradhapura. Nos hôtes étaient très gentils ont pris beaucoup de temps pour partager avec nous et nous faciliter notre séjour. Nous en gardons un excellent souvenir de cet ambiance familial. Les petits-déjeuners sont exceptionnels et variés chaque jour, permettant de découvrir un large éventail de spécialités sri-lankaises. Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons vivement !

Super fijne plek om te zijn. Super lieve mensen die hier dit hotel open houden. De vrouw kookt geweldig goed ! Zeer goede plek om de omgeving te bezoeken. Goede comfortabele kamer heel netjes.

Misschien een plekje om te gewoon wat te kunnen zitten of zo . Het zwembad lag wat ongelegen aan de inkom waardoor we er geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt

The cuisine was satisfactory. The staff exhibited a reasonable level of cordiality.

This establishment functions as a homestay, not a resort. The facilities provided did not align precisely with the representations in the promotional images, and the scenic outlook did not meet our anticipations.

Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, leckeres Frühstück, bequeme Bette, super Klimaanlage, die auch sehr leise war. Haben ohne Aufpreis ein größeres Zimmer angeboten bekommen. Vielen Dank dafür! Uns hat die Lage gut gepasst, sie war außerhalb und deswegen war es dort sehr ruhig. Aber mit dem TukTuk war man innerhalb von 10 Minuten für wenig Geld, dort, wo man sein wollte. Alles tipptopp.

L’accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes. Ils nous ont aidé à organiser notre visite des temples, musée, etc… de la ville. Et aussi gentillement permis de profiter de la pisci e après le check out

This place is truly a little piece of heaven. It is wonderfully peaceful and ideally located, close to many beautiful places to visit. The people are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The room is clean, big, with a nice terrace. Breakfast very good. And the pool is definitely a wonderful bonus!

L’accueil était top, les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse incroyable . Nous avons été super bien reçu, les repas étaient excellents!

Bien positionné, personnel attentif et gentil. Service de laverie nickel, petite piscine super pour les enfants.

La salle de bain doit être plus propre, et la chambre familiale était très exiguë. Les déjeuners étaient inégaux mais néanmoins bons.

The host is very nice. The room is a bit small but it is enough for one night. The breakfast is very good.

De airco deed het heel goed. Het zwembad was heel lekker en verfrissend. Het ontbijt was heel lekker. we hadden fietsen gehuurd en we hoefden daar uiteindelijk niet meer voor te betalen

De douche werd niet echt warm. We snapten het niet zo echt.

Make no mistake , the couple managing were lovelly ,wonderful people ! The pkace is very quiet and peaceful , a nice view over rice fields from a balconey,!

It is not for people over 50 y/o or no vechicle ! A long way to walk , and nothing around you though only approx- 10 klms by vechicle , 2 poor eating spots , not good and poor wi-fi ! No fridge in room! Sounds abd looks good on ad but?

La pareja que lo regenta son muy amables y están pendientes de que tu estancia sea la mejor posible, desayuno muy rico! La habitación está bien equipada, gran relación calidad precio y bonitas vistas.

Vriendelijke eigenaren, voldoende en lekker ontbijt. We mochten een tweede kamer gebruiken voor de kinderen. Ook hebben we fietsen gebruikt voor een boodschap, leuke omgeving richting de hoofdweg.

De familiekamer is erg krap en klein. Badkamers zijn niet schoon en het water kan onvoldoende weg. Water is koud en er lopen mieren. Op zich niet erg en het kan een prima plek zijn als er net wat meer wordt gelet op schoonheid en hygiëne.

Le personnel était très gentil et au petit soin, le cadre est très sympa, à proximité des choses à voir de la ville, les rails à proximité sont sympathiques, hôtel entouré de rizières et au calme. La nourriture était très bonne.

L’hôtel rend mieux en vrai qu’en photo, nous étions agréablement surprises !

Fijne rustige locatie aan de rand, op loopafstand van winkels en meer waar je fijn kunt wandelen. Prima avondeten en ontbijt. Zwembad(je) was heerlijk.

Les hôtes étaient très gentils, disponibles et arrangeants. Nous avons pu louer des vélos. Nous y avons dîné les soirs et c'était excellent et bon marché.

Odeur d'humidité présente dans la chambre et salle de bain un peu vétuste.

Owners are extremely helpful and kind. They do their best to help you and serve you as much as they can. They could help us to book a long distance taxi, to find bicycle for our little one, they adapt the breakfast (which was delicious) for our kids who had special wishes and they allow us to check in a bit in advance as we arrived before the check in time. The pool is a big plus!!!!

Everything was perfect

We booked a deluxe double room with a paddy field view and it wasn't enough with the space and we changed the room to a deluxe triple room on extra charge. It also had the view of paddy with a small outdoor area with a balcony overlooking the paddy field. We had tea coffee packets with two water bottles on arrival , but it wasn't refilled the next day. Pool was small ,but enough to have a dip during the hot sunny day to cool down. Our 19 Months old girl loves water which took us to this place. Pool was clean enough to have a dip.

As someone who works actively within the Sri Lankan tourism industry and travels extensively around the island, I always love supporting small family-run businesses. While this property has great potential and offers excellent value for money, the overall hospitality left a lot to be desired. The Positives: Facilities & Value In terms of the property itself, the facilities are absolutely worth the price tag. It is comfortable, and we were very happy with what we paid for the stay. Cleanliness needs to be upgraded a bit. Hospitality & Professionalism Unfortunately, we did not feel the true Sri Lankan warmth and hospitality that is so characteristic of this country. The owners could benefit from brushing up on their professionalism and guest relations. As parents of a 19-month-old, we prepare our own baby food to avoid sugar and salt. After struggling to find suitable options at local restaurants, we asked the owners if we could use their facilities to prepare a quick meal using our own ingredients. We were made to feel quite unwelcome, which is highly unusual for anywhere on this island while trsvelling around the island. Also we felt unwelcomed at the first sight on the first day and later treated differently on two days. Dining & Breakfast Inconsistencies We booked a bed-and-breakfast stay. On the first day, we were served a Sri Lankan breakfast, but it completely lacked fruits, tea, or coffee. On the second day, when the house was fully booked, we choose a Western breakfast that did include fruits and tea/coffee. However, we were advised that if we wanted milk with our hot drinks, we had to pay for it separately, which felt a bit restrictive for a BB stay. The Major Concern: The In-Room Information Sheet The most disappointing part of our stay was the information sheet we found in the room drawer (photo attached). As a Sri Lankan, it was deeply disheartening to read.

La piscine est un plus surtout après un safari ou la visite des temples. Personnel super sympa. Nous on organisé le safari à moindre coût et nous on préparé le petit déjeuner à emporter. Eau chaude à la douche. Je recommande.

Staff molto gentile e sempre pronto ad ogni nostra richiesta! Camera spaziosa e pulita. Colazione e cena buone! Un pò isolata ma con un tuk tuk in 5 minuti è possibile muoversi nella Old Town di Anuradaphura.

Good location and parking available. Close to main sights of Anuradhapura. Room clean and comfortable.

Some small renovations going on while we were there but it didn’t affect us too much.

Die Unterkunft lag in einer Seitenstraße im Zentrum des Ortes. Der Pool war sehr sauber, die Besitzer sehr freundlich.

Der Raum allgemein war zu dritt sehr beengt und das Etagenbett für unsere Tochter unbequem. Das Bad hatte ebenfalls einige Herausforderungen.

The manager and his wife were lovely and helpful. He was interesting to talk to about Sri Lanka’s recent history and current issues. We borrowed bikes and cycled back routes through rice fields to Anuradhapura Buddhist sites. Location was tricky for tuk tuks but it was nice to be away from the smell and noise of the centre. The hotel was the best value we had in 5 weeks and even included a great breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given guidance on how to cycle from the hotel and round the sacred sites on bikes we borrowed from the hotel. We managed on quiet lanes through rice fields.

Slightly awkward location. All the tuk tuk drivers struggled to find us and drop us back though they all managed.

The place is in the middle of the nature at 5’ of the main road. The family running it is awesome, very nice and super servicial. A perfect place for stopping and relax, the vibes are too cool. They cook us the dinner what we have ask and the price was good too, no overcharge. The pool is small but enough for chilling after an intense day.

Andorra is a nice place to stay for a good price, and the pool is a bonus on warm days. The breakfast is great, with fruit, toast, eggs and even a Sri Lankan option. Also the view from our room was amazing! The family who runs this guesthouse are very kind and always willing to help. We enjoyed our stay here.

The room we stayed in is quite outdated, with a cracked window, stickers on the wall that are half fallen off and it has a bit of a damp smell in the room. Having said that, it’s not something we necessarily mind, considering what great hospitality, breakfast and price it has.

We loved our stay here at Andorra. The hosts are so friendly and nice and the food was amazing!! I would 100% reccomend this place to anyone visiting Anuradhapura. The location is quiet and right next to the rice fields. We had an upstairs room with a nice big bathroom and shower and the balcony and view were amazing.

Well nothing, it is a bit out of the town centre but a tuktuk is always a few minutes away.

Anuradhapura es una zona muy húmeda y todas las casas tienen problemas de Humedad sobre todo en las plantas bajas. Mi habitación olía raro y tenía un pelín de moho, nada súper dramático pero soy asmática. Pedí si me podían cambiar de cuarto y todo genial.

The hotel was good value for money. The staff attended to all our requests promptly, and the food was tasty and up to a satisfactory standard. The size and condition of the pool were above satisfactory. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place during your Anuradhapura pilgrimage.

The cleanliness and overall maintenance of the rooms and bathrooms could be improved, although even at their current level, they were acceptable considering the price charged.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, die Betreiber haben sich viel zeit genommen für Kommunikation. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, das Essen gut, es gab einen großen Balkon mit gemütlichen ledersesseln und tollem Blick auf die Reisfelder. Uns wurde ein sehr netter, verlässlicher und sachkundige Fahrer namens Sagara vermittelt, der uns durch anuradhapura fuhr und den wir sehr empfehlen können. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Eigentümer. Wir haben super gefrühstückt und auch das Abendessen ist sehr empfehlenswert. Uns hat der Balkon mit Blick auf die Reisfelder gut gefallen.

Staff was so so good and friendly, we felt like we was at home. The pool is amazing as well, I really recommend the place to anyone that wants to book.

There is literally nothing I didn’t like, it was genuinely great, I will definitely book again when I’m back!!

Dit was een hele fijne plek om te overnachten. De locatie is top, het zit in de buurt van de oude stad, maar niet in het drukke centrum, waardoor het een rustige plek is. De hosts zijn super lief en heel behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was erg goed. Ook fijn dat we de ochtend voor vertrek nog even een duikje konden nemen in het zwembad!

La familia es muy agradable, nos hicieron sentir como en casa y la piscina es un plus. Agua limpia y muy cuidada. Limpieza de 10 y camas y almohadas muy cómodas. Está alejado del centro pero próximo a la zona arqueológica. Si vas con tu tuk tuk se agradece porque te evitas pasar por todo el tráfico del centro. Con taxi llegas en un momento a cualquier sitio. Desayunos deliciosos y abundantes. Puedes pedir con antelación que te preparen comida, nosotros hicimos una cena y estaba todo riquísimo. También puedes pedir refrescos y cerveza para tomar en el porche. Nosotros sin duda repetiríamos. Relación calidad/precio perfecta.

La camera non è accogliente, non abbiamo trovato la struttura in linea con tutte le altre che hanno lo stesso punteggio su Booking, ma un po' al di sotto dello standard degli 8 punti. Per chi cerca un alloggio economico e accettabile invece può essere una buona opzione. Un po' lontano dal centro, ma con PickMe si trovano facilmente Tuktuk. Il prezzo corretto di un tragitto in Toktuk in centro Anuradhapura è di 500-600 rupie, se chiedono di più rifiutate la corsa....alcune guide allungano il tragitto e chiedono fino a 1500 rupie, un vero furto.

Our stay at Andorra Tourist Resort was truly memorable. The highlight is definitely the beautiful swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. The managers were simply fantastic — friendly, attentive, and always present in just the right way. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the heartfelt goodbye was moving. The breakfast was excellent, tasty and abundant, and the property’s location made it very easy to reach Anuradhapura quickly. We were traveling by car and appreciated the convenient on-site parking. The rooms were spotless, well kept, and provided with complimentary toiletries in generous supply. A perfectly run resort, highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!
