Breakfast and staff were amazing! Could not fault the staff or how clean the room was.room smelt heavenly!

Doors were super heavy so loud in the morning.Carparking is a long way from the room.

Couldn't stay longer as fully booked for extra night's stay

Reception was super friendly, brought us to our room and introduced how everything worked. Plenty of space for two people, the garden was an extra bonus with fish in the pond we could feed (food provided). Wifi worked good, lots of goodies left in the room for us (beer, water, soda & milk) and chips & cookies. Breakfast was exceptional! Walking distance to everything in Bourton.

Stairs were tricky especially with carrying my suitcase up them. Also the walls were a bit thin so I could hear EVERYTHING the couple was doing next door if you know what I mean 😅

No tissues in bed room, only 1 chair for 2 guests room, need to refill the water in bath room for drinking, The sink in bath room is small. Room is too small for 2 people to stay in.

Excellent location; walked several routes from Bourton on Water straight from the hotel. Breakfast had a wide range of choices & the cooked breakfasts were excellent. The room was ideal for 3 nights. Fresh milk provided for tea/coffee in a small fridge.

Wonderful staff Liana and Tara were supportive , helpful and full of information for my friend and myself. They made the stay even better with places to eat and visit.

Loved the location , beautifully clean crisp cotton bedding , white towels in bathroom was perfect bathroom was extremely clean the bedroom it’s self was a nice size with television and tea facilities . Excellent breakfast with a lot of choice cooked breakfast was delicious.

Firstly this is a well kept property everything is spotless staff are attentive . I would just like to give some feedback on the bathroom window which was open when we arrived unfortunately we closed it in the evening but we couldn’t open it again in the morning this was the case the rest of our stay . I did struggle trying to get some sleep with car noise either from the car park or from the back or side of the property this was difficult for while which made me restless also noise from outside the bedroom maybe other guests back and fourth sadly this was on both nights of our it did eventually settle down . So sorry I have to mention the light outside the bedroom door it shone through the sides of the door and also at the bottom of the door I put my small case along the bottom of the door to try block out the light . Blind fell down slightly when trying to pull cord to lower blind . Please don’t take this negatively we still enjoyed the two day break we came back to the Cotswolds for a rest we are busy mums and a grandmother we work hard and love Bourton on the water .

Such a beautiful stay at The Landsdowne. Easy to find and excellent location. Staff were very friendly and thete was so much attention to detail and im always on the lookout for those little extras that make a difference to the stay like the mini fridge, the fresh milk for tea and coffee and bottle of water. Freshly washed fluffy towels, lovely toiletries and crisp white linen on the bed. We stayed in No 1 which was on the main road but still quiet. The staff put together a very useful one page guide which included places to go, where to drink etc so, so useful. Breakfast was also excellent...very tasty!

Not so much a 'didn't like' but my partner didn't find the bed comfortable...he is used to a firmer bed, and the bed was quite soft and so he was dipping in the middle.

The location is convenient, just a few steps from the main square in Bourton-on-the-Water and a good spot to sport the villages on the North Cotswolds. The breakfast is really tasty, it includes a small buffet and dishes for ordering. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the WiFi is fast. A highlight for the shower, it was probably the best shower I had in years, the water pressure was intense as if you were bathing in a waterfall.

The only thing I can mention is the fact the room was quite stuffy, so my sleeping would have been better if there was a fan available in the room. It was the August bank holiday and the temperature wasn't that high, so I imagine it'd have been impossible to comfortably sleep during the peak summer.

Stayed in the Boutique Quarters and the front door was left open which we did not find secure enough. I think we were the only ones that closed it all the way during our stay.

I had a single room and it instantly felt very homely and comfortable. It was clean and quiet (apart from a squeaky floorboard that must have annoyed those below me!) Breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.

We had an excellent stay at The Lansdowne in Bourton-on-the-Water. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable/cosy, and perfectly located for exploring the village and other stunning places nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Lovely property the perfect distance from the busy square. So easy for walking to dinner but being out of the noise. Lovely room, comfy bedding and great brekkie. Our host Lania was amazing!! So professional yet warm!

The only downside is the walls are quite thin so I could hear the couple talking clearly in the next room until late, and then from very early again. I would recommend ear plugs :)

The breakfast was just what we needed to fuel our day. The continental buffet had good variety. The menu selections we good with the ability to customize our orders. The coffee was excellent!

Maybe a little more variety on the menu. We stayed 4 days and eggs everyday was a bit much, though they were tasty.

We stayed in Oakey Cottage, was such a nice place, clean, nicely decorated.

It was very hot sleeping at night, it was better with the fan that was provided though!

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, well equipped and good value for money. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept really well. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and good quality food. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and the location is ideal with parking. This would be my go to place for a return to the area.

Property was so well located, the cottage was lovely and very well renovated for a Cotswolds countryside B&B. Breakfast was incredible and the service was fantastic, they were both pleasant and helpful!

Not much to say here honestly aside from the fact that the rooms were a little tight/on the smaller side.

Thanks for letting us park before 3pm. Easy checking in. Good sized twin room. Bath/shower with slip mat. Lovely soap and shampoo. Delicious breakfast...be patient if fully booked as all specially cooked....worth the wait. Easy walk into village. Most fantastic Coop nearby which we have ever seen!

Fire door on stairs opens towards you so have to squeeze around it. Would like skinny pillow to go with plump pillows.

Five star rating from me beautiful comfortable room lovely location right near the best pub for food. We went into Burton on the Water and every food place was a poor rating according to the ice cream seller but the pub near this hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing touch a class with the service five stars from me.

The property is in a great location and the parking is a godsend as Bourton is very busy.

There is no air conditioning in the room, it was not a problem for us as it was a relatively cool evening and they do provide a fan.

Dat onze kamer recht boven de ingang van de keuken was, waarom daarom s'morgens vroeg wakker door de bevoorrading, maar we waren dan ook vroeg bij het ontbijt.

Very stylish, fabulous location and very clean

Virtually everything. Room was comfortable and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was truly excellent and the location was perfect for the town centre - far enough away from the busy part, but only a 3 minute walk. Having parking was a big boon. Being on the main road did not matter - we barely heard any noise during the nights even with the windows wide open. Breakfast staff were very helpful and chirpy, and little extras were appreciated.

The only drawback was that we had an attic room with very low beams and no wardrobes I would have liked to have known that in advance. I have a friend 9 inches taller than me and he would have been very compromised.

Perfect location couple of minutes walk to popular area of Bourton on the Water, River Windrush, Motoring Museum and Birdland. Free parking.

The property was perfect for my pregnant wife and me, and we’ll definitely be returning. The team went above and beyond, adding thoughtful touches that made her birthday weekend feel genuinely special. We also loved how close everything was — we met the Jeremy Clarkson’s at his Farm shop, and Hawkstone Brewery was only a five‑minute drive away 🙏🏻.

A staff member ( could be the manager) was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. I arrived one hour before the scheduled check-in time (15:00) and asked if I could use the facilities at the B&B while waiting. Instead, this member told me to use a PUBLIC TOILET. I was shocked by her attitude. At first, I thought perhaps this was normal because it was a B&B rather than a hotel. After speaking with friends who have stayed at B&Bs many times, I learned that this is certainly not normal or acceptable service. Overall, I found the experience very unpleasant, and the staff's attitude left a very negative impression on me. Breakfast is very average..

El trato del personal dejó mucho que desear. Demasiado estricti con los hirarios. Nos kmpusieron el horario del desayuno a las 9 15, pirque los demás estaban ocupados. ????? Pedimos pasar al baño ni bien llegamos, antes de que nos entregyen la habitación y nos mandaron a los bañis públicos a 4 cuadras. No somos huéspedes del hotel???? Nunca nos había pasado recibir tal trato. NO LO RECOMIENDO

Lovely staff greeted me upon arrival and gave me a full tour of the facilities. The room was clean and well equipped. It was so nice to be able to take a bath after a long day of walking in the heat. Very conveniently located at the edge of the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. Excellent breakfast service and space.

The location was very good. Room needed tlc. Breakfast lacked fresh fruit (bananas), nuts, seeds natural yogurt without granola as a choice would have been nice.

The toilet flush hardly worked and the toilet seat was very marked.

Excellent location within walking distance to attractions of Burton-on-the-water. Served a full, delicious breakfast.
