We enjoyed the easy access to Burton on the water, and liked it was out in the country away from the busy crowds. Our ground floor room was very comfortable. We liked the comfortable beds and mini frig, having a sofa for lounging and an easy parking space out front. The Breakfast is excellent, fresh fruit, and many choices for eggs and meat, etc depending on your preference. We enjoyed visiting the goats out back. Jill was just a wonderful host. Burton on the water is a busy town during the day but quiets down about 5 pm and is very peaceful and easy to find a restaurant after the day trippers leave.

Very pretty property. Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Loved the little dressing area. I also loved the pretty free-standing bath. We had fresh milk and bottled water in our fridge along with a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits and little chocolate bars.

I liked the room, comfy bed and pretty view of the garden. The lovely breakfast room with a great cooked breakfast with plenty of variety. Jill was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The location is within walking distance to bourton the water. 🙂

If I had to fault it, I had one noisy person in the room next door on the last night, obviously this is not down to the owners.

La decoración muy acogedora, muy limpio, habitación muy amplia para tres. Parking disponible. Muy cerca del pueblo y ubicación muy buena para visitar los Costwolds.

Está justo en una carretera y no se avisa en la descripción del alojamiento, se escucha continuamente el paso de los coches lo que perjudica el descanso. Creo que el precio (decidí pagar más para tener un alojamiento top) y la calificación del alojamiento no es adecuado teniendo esto en cuenta. También el estricto horario que nos hizo abandonar la habitación a las 10 de la mañana durante los días de alojamiento para realizar el servicio de habitaciones… Poniendo horarios forzosos en unas vacaciones.

No funcionaba bien el Wifi, el desayuno solo se puede pagar en cash, no hay aire acondicionado en la habitación. Lejos del centro del pueblo, carretera peligrosa para ir caminando.

A great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Magnificent breakfast included. Off-road car parking. Plenty of good pubs and eateries nearby.

La strada per raggiungere il centro non è idonea a piedi perché abbastanza pericolosa con macchine che sfrecciano a tutta velocità e di sera è priva di illuminazione.

La vicinanza al centro del paese ma appena fuori dal caos. La tranquillità del giardino, la camera nuova e pulitissima

The beautiful scenery surrounding the B&B which also has a lovely garden and it is a great location for leaving the car and walking the short distance into town.

Debido al calor terrible y a pesar de tener un ventilador de pie, tuvimos que abrir las ventanas para lograr ventilación cruzada. Se oían los coches que circulaban y parecía que le pasaban por encima a uno. No pudimos conciliar sueño en condiciones.

Lovely clean and comfortable, very relaxing throughout , we parked up for the week ,walked the short distance into Burton, and used public transport to visit other areas bus stop just on the turning by the river (green lane I think). Excellent breakfast ,super fresh, hot and tasty and friendly relaxed atmosphere.. Comfy bed and room with spotless bathroom. Would definitely recommend .

The location was great for the local village of Bourton-on-the-Water. The house was very clean and modern. There was a lovely variety of breakfasts on offer, and served with a smile.

I can't comment on other rooms but there was a lack of wardrobe space in our ground floor, twin room. There was a sofa that wasn't needed in our opinion, which could have been replaced with a good sized wardrobe.

Great breakfast so much choice. Both our bedroom and bathroom was spotless, lovely comfortable bed. Great location. Excellent hosts.

It was a bit too far to walk into the village and it was noisy because it is positioned on a main road.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Nest. The location was perfect, just a short walk into Bourton-on-the-Water. The owners were warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel very welcome. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and the thoughtful touches of chocolates and bottled water were much appreciated. We also enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden, which was so peaceful and tranquil. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Unfortunately it was very hot weather whilst we were there and the fan provided did not cool down the room very much, but appreciate it was extreme heat.

The location is good, only if you go by car. We walked from the hotel to the center of Bourton twice tough - it is a 15 min walk but half the walk is next to a highway which is not super safe

Property was in a beautiful location and just 5 minutes away from the Town Centre. Very quiet and spacious. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Parking space available for each room.

Gezellige en huiselijke B&B waar veel aandacht wordt besteed aan het ontbijt. Heeft een lichte en ruime badkamer (douche in het bad)

De afstand van de bushalte tot de B&B is niet groot, maar op de weg wordt hard gereden en het trottoir is smal

Lovely central location close to Bourton & stow on the wold. Parking was easy & there was always a space available. Jill was very welcoming & informative. Fresh milk & bottled water were provided. The room was very spacious equipped with a a fridge, dressing room, large bathroom with a beautiful bath

My partner found the pillows not to his taste although I found them to be very comfy. There were a few dusty spots but definitely nothing of concern. Overall it was beautifully presented, very clean & tidy

The hotel was very clean, peaceful, and had a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from that were thoughtfully prepared by the host. This place truly completed my holiday perfectly and exceeded my expectations by far. It absolutely deserves its high rating. Thank you for making my stay so relaxing and memorable. If I have the chance, I would definitely love to come back again. Since I had my own car, transportation was not a problem for me. The location is close to Bourton-on-the-Water, although having a car would definitely make traveling more convenient.

Il Sunny Nest è un'oasi di pace, a due passi da Bourton on the water, in posizione strategica per un tour nelle Cotswolds. Parcheggio in loco gratuito, camera pulita e silenziosa. L'host è gentilissima e disponibile, ogni giorno in camera ci ha fatto trovare nel frigo acqua e latte, cioccolatini e biscotti. Colazione abbondante servita al tavolo con ampia scelta. Disponibili tavolini all'aperto e sedie per il relax tra pecore, capre ed asini. Se vi piace il porridge non dovete perdere quello di Sunny Nest.

The hosts were accommodative to one hour early check in. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit salad, cooked breakfast and gluten free bread. It was 31 degrees when we stayed, and the small portable fan in the rooms were helpful at night.

The breakfast was delicious and many choices. Portion was generous too.

It takes about 15 min to walk to the village. Caution to cross busy motorway.

Amazing breakfast every day, many delicious options from the breakfast menu. Super friendly and accommodating host. The property is very nice with some animals sharing the large garden with guests.

The bed was a bit too soft for my taste, other than that nothing to complain.

Nice little touches like chocolate and water by your bed on arrival. Complimentary shower products were very nice too. Breakfast had good quality produce and the hosts were friendly and helpful regarding the local area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunny Nest. The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. The room was great, very clean and well furnished. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras provided in the room, including an EU plug adapter, a USB-C cable, and a Lightning cable. Fresh cow’s milk in the fridge every day was such a lovely touch as well.

Host Gill was warm and friendly on arrival. Location of property was great to walk along the water into Bourton itself, lovely views and peaceful. The room was spacious and had everything you need for a pleasant stay. Especially liked the little fridge with fresh milk. The bed and linen were comfortable and great quality. The bathroom had a big bath with fluffy towels, clean and great light. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of fresh produce. Highly recommended staying here.

Camere pulite e ben arredate, colazione ottima e molto varia, contesto nel verde, host accogliente e molto gentile.

Le camere per quanto ben curate hanno spazio di passaggio abbastanza limitato, il materasso troppo morbido e avvallato verso il centro.

Food was fresh and excellent, good selection on offer.

The accommodation was clean and met our expectations.

The breakfast time of 8.00 to 9.00am was quite short and in our opinion should be extended until at least 9.30, particularly on the weekends. Guests were also advised to vacate their room between 10.00 and 12.00 in order to allow for cleaning. We believe that this is quite an unreasonable requirement and you should be able to utilise the room at any time during your stay.

The hosts were amazing and the location is brilliant as it is only a 10 minute walk from Bourton-On-The-Water . The breakfast was great and the rooms were perfect . Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for somewhere in the Cotswolds and will definitely be back !🫶🏼

La struttura è carina e la proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile . Colazione ottima in bella stanza da pranzo affacciata sul giardino che ipotizzo in estate venga usato per colazione visto che ci sono dei tavoli.

A mio avviso le camere standard ( la nostra lo era)p er quanto molto luminoso e accoglienti sono un po’ piccole…. non ci si può muovere in due adulti con bagaglio . Il letto decisamente troppo morbido . La stanza vicino alla strada un po’ rumorosa se si dorme con finestra aperta ( noi lo abbiamo fatto perché era caldo ). Infine da tenere presente che la casa non è in paese ma a circa 1 km di statale a piedi

La posizione è ottima, adiacente a Bourton on the water. La struttura è molto curata e con arredo tipico locale, molto caratteristica. La proprietaria è squisita e molto gentile, la colazione semplicemente fantastica: con tante opzioni dolci, salate e per vegetariani, cucinate in modo eccellente e al momento! Consiglio sinceramente questa struttura, io ci tornerò sicuramente nella mia prossima visita nelle Costwolds!

Unica osservazione è che chi dovesse avere particolari esigenze di spazio per quanto riguarda i letti consiglio di contattare in anticipo l’host per capire se ci siano delle alternative!

Our 2nd visit to Sunny Nest. Jill is a very pleasant host. We stayed in the triple room, everything was first class, beautiful room with an ensuite with a free standing bath and separate shower, we also had a dressing room. Breakfast was yummy with quality produce. A lovely quiet guest house.Everything was 10/10 Would highly recommend

The property was well situated a short walk from a very popular tourist village, the surroundings were beautiful and it was lovely to see the donkeys and goats enjoying the scenery too. The room was spacious, clean just like the rest of the property and the owners were very friendly and helpfully. I can highly recommend the Cotswolds breakfast, very tasty and the portion control was spot on.

Molto carino, pulito e curato anche nei piccoli dettagli. Proprietaria molto gentile. Buona la colazione preparata al momento. Parcheggio comodo. Buona la posizione non distante dal centro (due minuti in auto).

Non metto le 10 stelle perchè in stanza era pieno di coccinelle. La colazione seppur buona non propone qualcosa di dolce. Per chi arriva di notte è un po' difficile da trovare perchè la strada fuori è totalmente al buio.

The breakfast was superb and was served very quickly, but reflecting the guest's rate of consumption. The location is fine with The Village (Bourton) close by and central for for local attractions.

I honestly could not find any faults with the facilities or the service.

Lovely guest house. Very quiet in a rural setting. Nice clean comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Lovely touch with the chocolate at the side of the bed. Rooms all have fridge and coffee making facilities.

The location although only a ten minute walk into Boughten-On The Water was not ideal as you had to cross a busy main road. There were no proper paths to walk on by the side of the road or a crossing. Not ideal for families with young children.
