Heel mooi en centraal gelegen appartement in een traditionele woning. Op advies van de eigenaar konden we vlakbij gebruikmaken van een prima parkeerplaats, wat erg handig was. Vanuit het appartement liepen we zo het prachtige stadje in om te genieten van de sfeervolle straatjes, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een ontspannen verblijf. Zeker een aanrader!

Lokacija je savršena, blizu se nalaze dvije garaže ako putujete autom, u centru Matere i s prekrasnim pogledom. Vlasnici su nas dočekali, objasnili sve što se tiče grada i pomogli pri odabiru restorana. Pristupačnije domaćine nikada nismo dozivjeli. Svaka pohvala! Doručak je bio izvrstan; domaće slastice, džemovi i pekarski proizovodi. Soba je bila uredna, čista i jako lijepo uređena. Dočekale su nas vode u mini hladnjaku.

Great location, AC worked well, breakfast great, fast wifi and host was super accommodating. The hair dryer in the room was also great quality so that was a nice surprise! Awesome views from our room as well.

The B&B was sparkling clean. It is located in the heart of the old town. Our host Erasmo was very passionate about Matera's history. He provided us with enough information to explore Matera. The B&B is very pretty, windows opening up to beautiful scenes of the old town. The breakfast made our stay 11/10. Handmade by Erasmo's mom, there were many pastries, focaccia, coffee. The family was very kind and hospitable. I'd definitely recommend this B&B. Parking is a challenge though. Because the B&B is located in a ZTL zone unauthorized vehicles are not allowed. I was fortunate to find a free street parking spot near 4, Via Giovanni Amendola.

The bathroom was quite congested but it was sparkling clean and neat.

Location is excellent and it's a special town.

Breakfast could have a better selection of savoury food, nice if cold water was self serve.

The brothers were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and in a great location.

Breakfast was excellent: coffee, freshly made local speciality cakes and pastries etc The location was perfect: in the Sassi district but a short flat walk to the main square , restaurants, museum, cistern etc. Our room was fabulous , carefully decorated and with a balcony overlooking the historic valley below and beyond.

I cannot think of anything I did not like about this property or the friendly and extremely helpful owners.

Boede i suiten. Den var i super stand og meget flot og lækker lejlighed. God aircondition og bare super fed lejlighed. Personalet var alle super søde. God morgenmad, dog mest sød italiensk morgenmad, med lækre hjemmelavede kager. Intet at klage over. Stedet ligger lige ved historisk centrum. Og der var betalt parkering kun ca. 150 meter væk. Nem at booke på forhånd.

Tutto perfetto e bellissimo!

I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e ci hanno accolto con tutte le informazioni necessarie. La colazione è molto buona e varia. La nostra camera era piccolina ma ben organizzata, non c'è infatti mancato nulla.

Cambierei i tavolini della colazione, un po' scomodi per le gambe e anche nello stile non si sposano col resto della stanza.

Wunderschöne Höhlenwohnung war jeden Cent wert , Frühstück Okay, Parkplatz in der Nähe .

De B&B zit super centraal, eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en denken met je mee. Ze geven tips waar je het best kunt eten en de plekken waar je het beste het uitzicht kan ervaren. De badkamer is heel netjes en goed. Goede douche met goeie druk.

EVERYTHING! Most beautiful stay

We didn't want a cave room, too dark for us, and these rooms were just great. There was a spectacular view, location was great for exploring Matera, the rooms were large, and the air conditioning worked well. Add to this the service by the staff, you will have a great time here!

Breakfast could have had more savoury options. While the custard and cherry filled croissants were amazingly fresh and tasty, they were very sweet compared to what we are used to. Just plain croissants would have been enough. Or plain bread, cheese and meats would have been great. The choices were a little limited.

Avec un accueil exemplaire et le charme, la casa di ele nous a régalé ! Matera est toujours une expérience mais dans ces conditions c’était encore mieux !! Plein de produits fait maison.

La Casa di Ele is the definition of perfection. The accommodation itself is stunning, has a lot of embedded elements from the local culture and offers everything one wants when on holiday - from location to cleaning and aesthetics of the rooms, amazing hosts, delicious home made breakfast.

La stanza era in una vecchia casa di Matera, ben restaurata. L'ottima posizione permette di godere di una splendida vista sui sassi di Matera. Essendo di passaggio per un giorno soltanto, lo staff ci ha gentilmente introdotto a Matera dandoci una traccia di cosa si poteva vedere con una breve visita di un pomeriggio e, dando suggerimenti su buoni posti da mangiare.

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo pero en una zona a la que se accede muy fácilmente y se puede aparcar en las inmediaciones en zona azul. Erasmo fue encantador, nos ayudó en lo que necesitamos, nos explicó todo lo necesario y nos recomendó los lugares imprescindibles. El desayuno muy bueno y la habitación con balcón tenía unas vistas espectaculares. Una pena solo haber estado una noche.

Everything was fantastic! The location is right in the middle of the city and so easy to explore the sites. The owner helped with a parking garage near by to make sure when we arrived we had no problem with parking! The house has room and is flexible for a family to enjoy the stay.

Clean, nice welcoming hosts that took time to explain things and help, excellent location, excellent AC and WiFi, bed and shower were good. I loved the balcony overlooking the sassi, thank you!

The breakfast had a lovely assortment of cakes but not very healthy options to choose from. Parking was available but I opted to park on the street and the host helped me to get an app which made it easy to make adjustments to the time without having to go back to the car. The recommended lot was about 25 euros a night

The location was the best. The hosts are the nicest people. The breakfast is excellent.

Aesthetically stunning and the service was top tier, our host was knowledgeable, friendly and a great representative of Matera!

Wir haben uns ganz bewusst für die Suite Toscanini entschieden, um Matera möglichst authentisch zu erleben – und genau das haben wir gefunden. Die liebevoll restaurierte Höhlensuite verbindet die einzigartige Atmosphäre der historischen Sassi mit modernem Komfort und viel Geschmack. So konnten wir das besondere Wohngefühl einer Höhlenwohnung erleben, wenngleich auch mit sehr viel mehr Luxus als damals. Die Gastgeber herzlich und das Frühstück perfekt. Ein toller Urlaub.

Location was great as we could walk to center of Matera, home made breakfast was great & delicious room size was big, the only thing I did not like was the old smell of the room which was like retirement home smell. I recommend putting some fresh smell in the room to counter act since am sure is due to how old the area is but for me personally was very strong & tough to sleep through. Other than that everything was great & host very very kind.

The smell of old home like a regiment or old hospital setting. Also I am not sure how much the going rate for that area is but I thought the room was expensive $400 euros for one night, a room that was very old. I think $250 would have been ore appropriate.
