Downtown Hideaway, B&B Grand Deluxe

Prachtige BnB met een heerlijk buiten in een leuke buurt, op een paar minuten wandelen van het centrum. De hosts zijn erg vriendelijk en doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. En het ontbijt was geweldig.

Het totaalplaatje, de vriendelijke ontvangst door de hosts, de communicatie vooraf en tijdens het verblijf, service en locatie. Verder de compleetheid van de inrichting, de faciliteiten en lekker ruim!

Zeer klein aandachtspuntje is het matras, dat had iets harder gemogen, maar dat is echt het enige en zeker niet van invloed op de totaalbeoordeling.

Un grand merci à Frans et Hetty pour leur hospitalité. Tout est prévu dans le moindre de détail pour que les visiteurs manquent de rien et se sentent à l'aise. La surface de l'appartement est grande et la décoration est chaleureuse et soignée. Les baies vitrées du salon donnent sur un charmant jardin aménagé pour se détendre. C'est très silencieux. Le petit-déjeuner est complet et délicieux. Nous avons passé un très bon moment

Veel ruimte en licht. Mooi en netjes ingericht. Je eigen privé tuin, geen inkijk. Verschillende kussen opties liggen al klaar en kan je uitzoeken waarmee je lekker slaapt.

This was a highlight. Amazing welcome and beautiful hosts. Come to Eindhoven just to stay here. It is hidden so look carefully but when you find it. We could have stayed a week.

Too short

Si quieres evitar el ajetreo de un gran hotel, pero no quieres renunciar al servicio y exclusividad de un hotel de cinco estrellas, entonces debes de venir a este B&B! Hetty y Frans te hacen sentir como en casa, muy atentos en todo momento. El lugar es un oasis con jardín en estilo tailandés. El desayuno, al borde del estanque con peces dorados, está hecho con muchísimo cariño, no falta absolutamente de nada: frutas, smoothy, huevos, yogur, cereales, mermelada… En pleno centro de la ciudad y a pocos minutos de estupendos restaurantes de comida nacional e internacional. Y lo mejor de todo, la tranquilidad del lugar que te ayudan a descansar y reponer energía. En fin todo fantástico! Volveremos seguro!

Zeer goede locatie in Eindhoven, op enkele minuutjes wandelen van het centrum. Wij verbleven hier omdat we naar een concert zijn gaan kijken in het philips stadion - dat was perfect. Heel vriendelijke hosts! Verzorgd ontbijt! Bij mooi weer, heel mooie tuin.

Alles !! Het ontvangst, top!, de ligging, top!, de kamer, top, voor de eigenaars is niets te veel…de juiste mensen op de juiste plaats…zij zorgen voor alles en dit met veel liefde🙏 Super goede ervaring en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar👍

The hideaway was spotlessly clean and kept to a very high standard. The in room breakfast was delicious and unlimited coffee hit the spot! It’s a very interesting accommodation, which has been tastefully decorated and you can see a lot of thought has went into its design. The bed was super comfortable and we both had an excellent nights sleep on both evenings we stayed, the area was very peaceful and there was zero noise throughout the night.

Not a dislike, but more of a personal preference. I like to watch a movie in bed when I’m away, so it would have been nice to have the TV in the room :)

There are two types of excellent hospitality. The one that feels professional and delivers value for the money you pay. And one that goes above and beyond your expectations, exceeds the boundaries of a professional service, to offer you a unique experience. The latter can describe my experience at the Hideaway B&B. Both the garden and the house are meticulously designed to offer the feeling of uniqueness. I was there for work, so all work amenities were also present. The outside space is amazing and very well thought of. The selection of handmade breakfast options, the personal service, the interesting discussions, are just some of the things that put the Hideaway B&B above any other short term rental experience I’ve had. And I’ve been to 35 countries. I could go on for hours about this place, but I guess it’s better you visit and find out for yourselves.

Ons verblijf bij Downtown Hideaway B&B was werkelijk een droom. Vanaf het eerste moment werden we warm ontvangen door Frans en Hetty, die een perfecte balans weten te vinden tussen behulpzaamheid en privacy. Ze staan altijd klaar om te helpen – of het nu gaat om een restaurant reserveren of gewoon een vriendelijke tip voor een mooie wandeling – maar laten je tegelijkertijd volledig vrij om op je eigen tempo te genieten. De locatie is perfect: je loopt zó het charmante stadscentrum in, alles is op loopafstand. En toch voelt het alsof je je in een oase van rust bevindt. De B&B ligt verscholen achterin een prachtige, perfect onderhouden tuin waar je helemaal tot jezelf kunt komen. Alles ademt aandacht en liefde voor detail: van de kussens die bij de vijver klaar liggen om comfortabel naar de vissen te kijken, tot de stoelenset met zonnehoeden, een verrekijker en een vogelboek om vogels uit het nabijgelegen natuurgebied te spotten. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. En dan het ontbijt… wat een feest! Iedere ochtend was het weer een culinair hoogtepunt, met verse producten, prachtige presentatie en heerlijke smaken. De gastvrouw is zonder twijfel een ware chefkok. Volgende keer – want dat er een volgende keer komt, staat voor ons vast – laten we ons extra verwennen met alles wat zij te bieden heeft. Zelfs bij een kopje thee werd er gedacht aan de kleinste verwennerijen: verse gember en limoen standaard op tafel. Alles is doordacht, liefdevol verzorgd en tot in de puntjes geregeld. Kortom: Downtown Hideaway B&B is een uitzonderlijke plek waar je helemaal tot rust komt, maar ook volop kunt genieten van alles wat de stad en de natuur te bieden hebben. Een absolute aanrader!

Prachtige, zeer schone en luxe B&B. Hoewel het in hartje Eindhoven ligt, is het er toch zeer rustig en stil. Met super vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, die je het helemaal naar het zin proberen te maken. Reageren direct op berichten. Fijn, groot bed en prachtige tuin met diverse zitjes. Het à la carte ontbijt is geweldig en zeer royaal. In de directe omgeving veel groen waar je prachtig kunt wandelen en fietsen.

Everything was great.

Great location for the city centre and football stadium. Plenty of local restaurants and bars within a 3 minutes walk with the city only 10 minutes walking. The decor had a really nice vibe about it with great WiFi and fully stocked mini bar. Frans was a great host and fantastic communicator too. The garden area had a gorgeous koi pond too. So calming. Would definitely stay here again

We were warmly welcomed by our incredibly nice hosts. They manage this cozy "hideaway", located directly next to their own house, as more of a passion project than a business. Describing the service as merely "professional" wouldn’t do it justice - it’s clear this place is a labor of love for them, and their dedication goes beyond professionalism. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, were out all day and evening, and didn’t get the chance to chat with them more. The place itself exceeded our expectations, offering everything we needed and more. There were many thoughtful touches, like a variety of bed pillows to choose from. Since we stayed in late November, we missed seeing the garden in full bloom, but it looks stunning in the summer photos. The location worked well for us, even though we were attending an event a bit farther from the city center. And the included breakfast was exceptional.

As mentioned above, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. But for those who value anonymity, this might not be the ideal fit. In such cases, a hotel or a holiday home managed by a company might be a better option. For us, though, the personal touch made it all the more worthwhile. And as clearly stated in the renting conditions, this is run as a B&B. While there is a kitchenette, guests are not supposed to bring food and cook for themselves. This was clear to us from the start, and we had no intention of doing so.

The property was absolutely exquisite! The hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond. Every detail was thought of and they had so many special touches. Breakfast was so delicious and healthy. The location is great- quiet neighborhood, and walking distance to the city. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

An excellent place to relax and unwind. The place is super clean, highly finished and furnished, very comfy beds and pillows. Couldn't ask for a better host. The owners are very helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. They also picked us up from the train station. Would definitely revisit. Everyday, host would switch on the air conditioning an hour or so before we arrive so we find the place cool since it was hot.

The breakfast was exceptional and the option for asking for a custom breakfast was much welcomed (we had English breakfast on our last morning!). The hosts, Frans and Hetty were incredibly accommodating and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the area! You can just think of what you would like to do, and the hosts most certainly will have some great recommendations

Small amount of shampoo/shower gel in the shower, might be a problem if you take more than one shower in the day, however I'm sure the hosts could provide more if asked

Ideal location for exploring Eindhoven and proximity to excellent choice of restaurants. Exceptional attention to detail of facilities provided and discreet but always ready to help attitude of hosts. Delicious breakfasts.
