Hava yağışlıydı ev sahibi ısrarla eve ayakkabılarımızı çıkarıp girmemizi istedi. Biraz direndik ama geç saatte sorun yaşamamak için kabul ettik. Nırmalde ayakkabı ile girilen bşr yerde çorapla gezmek rahatsız ediciydi. Ayrıca şarj aletimi unutmuşum fakat iletişime geçilmedi eğer haber verselerdi zaten şehirdeydim dönüp alabilirdim.

The house is quite old and hasn’t been renovated recently, so you shouldn’t expect it to be perfectly clean or modern.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025Wir waren wegen der negativen Bewertung die unter dieser Unterkunft plötzlich drin war sehr verunsichert und darum schreibe ich eine ausführliche Bewertung … due Lage dieses Hauses ist wundervoll, mitten im schönsten Dorf das ich je gesehen habe!!! Der Parkplatz ist auch für faule extrem nahe, nämlich genau 145 m, was wirklich nicht weit ist (wenn nan bedenkt das Giethoorn autofrei ist!!!!) also auch von da her ist die Lage perfekt! Neben der Unterkungt hat es Restaurants, Bars, Eisdielen, Bootvermietung ect. Es hat alles in der Nähe!!!! Die Wohnung selbst ist ein Hazs mit Geschichte, das es schon seit 175 Jahren gibt. Spinnen machen mir angst, ich habe aber keine einzige im Haus gesehen und das es draussen in der Natur Spinnennetze gibt sollte normal sein… Es ist so wunderschön da. Eine riesige Unterkunft mit netten Gastgebern und viiiiilen Betten und einer super Küche!!!! Wir sibd so dankbar, dass wir dort 2 Nächte waren , um den morgen und Abend in Giethoorn zu erleben, wenn keine Touristen da sind! Dann ist es nämlich magisch dort!!!! Ich kann nicht verstehen wie man diese Unterkunft schlecht bewerten kann. Wir haben selber Ferienwohnungen in der Schweiz und wir sind extrem viel in Booking Wohnungen unterwegs! Wir sind mit Hund und 3 Kindern gereist (auch der Hund war willkommen) 10 von 10 Sternen von uns für diesen magischen, geschichtsträchtigen Ort mit wunderschönen Gemälden…

Reviewed Jul 24, 2025Our worst hotel experience ever. We do not recommend this place. The building is extremely old and run-down, with creaky floors and doors. The worst part was the terrible smell — a strong, sickening odor coming from the bathroom, like sewage or worse. It gave us headaches and even got into our clothes. Breakfast was equally disappointing: a few slices of ham and cheese, dry tasteless bread (clearly frozen before), and nothing fresh or appealing. There were also spiders everywhere, with visible webs in the corners — clearly not a well-maintained place. Unfortunately, this was the most unpleasant stay we’ve ever had. Avoid this hotel if you can.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2025Location is excellent, right in the heart of Giethoorn, very convenient. Rooms are great size and sleep 4 comfortably, comes with all amenities for your stay. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating when we arrived past checkin time. A very positive experience overall.
Check in time was a bit late, at 5pm.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2023The 1-bedroom apartment has two queen beds, full kitchen, can comfortably sleep four. Parking is free in the cafe lot. The location is great, right on the canal, in the middle of the houses. You should stay a night in Giethoorn because of the morning and evening peace and quiet after day trippers are gone. The canal turns into mirror and you get beautiful pics w perfect reflections. This is not possible during the day w tourist boats.

No furniture like closets to hang your clothes!! Only nails on the walls! Very bad bed sheets and pillows. No lamp tables near the bed .no washing machine. Finally there is no Internet in the property we use the net from next door restaurant.
