Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Wir hatten es sehr bequem und nett. Das Haus ist toll und sehr sauber, das Zimmer sehr großzügig, das Bett sehr bequem, sogar mit Balkon und das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und bemüht, uns einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen - den hatten wir ohnehin. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Es war rundum großartig.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Tolles B&B. Man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben, super großes und bequemes Bett. Balkon dabei, große Dusche. Carola und Gerd sind wie Onkel + Tante. Behilflich, wenn es Fragen oder Anliegen gibt.
Beide wohnen mit im Haus (Erdgeschoss). Sollte einem bewusst sein, wenn man absolute Privatsphäre sucht. Dann passt diese Unterkunft nicht.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026We were greeted at the door by the hosts and from there it was like visiting family, even Luca the dog came to show us the room. It was huge and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable too. We were given local information and off we went. The breakfast the next morning was brilliant and had so much choice - we chose the continental and went away with full bellies, I could have stayed for hours just to talk to Carol and Gert :-)

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Very friendly and helpful hosts. There is a path down the road where you can access the beach and its only a few minutes drive to the harbour and shops. Caroline and Gert offer a home cooked breakfast if needed. The room has all you need, is comfortable, clean and spacious with a small balcony (garden view room).
Nothing really, only thing to be aware of is there are stairs up to the room to negotiate.

Breakfast was very generous and everything tasted delicious; besides eggs, bacon, mushrooms, etc., there was also homemade bread baked by Gerd and marmalade from Carol. Reviewed Nov 29, 2025Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door Carol en Gert. Zeer mooie en ruime kamer met uitzicht op zee en voorzien van frigo, koffie en thee faciliteiten. De dubbele zitbank in de kamer was een plus punt. Verder kozen wij voor het continentaal ontbijt en dit was fantastisch. Ook kregen we van de host een lijstje met restaurants in de buurt alsook uitleg wat er allemaal in de omgeving te beleven viel. Een echte aanrader.

Polecam porozmawiać z właścicielami aby dowiedzieć się więcej o Struuisbai i RPA. Smaczne śniadanie - koniecznie polecam zamówić. Herzliche Gastgeber, die ein wunderbares Frühstück anbieten und sehr gern für die Ausflugsplanung Auskunft geben und auch gute Restaurants empfehlen. Praktisch: beide sprechen auch deutsch. Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Die Zimmer waren super ausgestattet, sogar mit Wärmflaschen, Wattepads etc. Im Zimmer wartete gefiltertes Wasser, selbst gemachte Kekse und jeweils ein tv mit Netflix Account. Das Frühstück bestand aus selbstgemachte Marmeladen und Broten und im Ort gekauften Wurst- und Käsesorten. Die Gastgeber haben uns direkt mit wertvollen Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt und waren kein bisschen aufdringlich. Wir haben uns alle wie Zuhause gefühlt!

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025The B&B is in a nice location overlooking the sea, half way between Struisbaai centre and L'Agulhas. The room was very comfortable and spacious and also had a small fridge. There were lots of nice small touches to make things homey and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and told us we were welcome to spend time downstairs anytime and have a chat. Breakfast was excellent and copious. They have a list of some local restaurants nearby which was super helpful.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025La ubicación era práctica para nuestro itinerario. Los dueños son muy muy amables. Las habitaciones son preciosas, amplias, luminosas y cálidas. No pasamos nada de frío. Hay todo tipo de detalles : café, te, galletitas, leche, agua .... en el baño jabón, crema ... El desayuno es espectacular ! Se nota que a los anfitriones les gusta hacer su trabajo con amor. Totalmente recomendable!!

We stayed here for one night and our room was exceptionally, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners of the house were very friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was fabulous, the room was comfortable, and overall exceptional value. The beautiful long beach at Struisbaai was just minutes away, and there was a lovely loop walk from the lighthouse to the marker at Cape Agulhas.

We also had breakfast and it was very good. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. They also gave us a list with recommendations for restaurants, we really appreciated that.
