AMAZING hospitality and quality.The owners were so welcoming and went the extra yard to make it a wonderful stay. 5 star accomodation with breath taking views.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were friendly and hospitable, and provided so many personal touches and generous, unexpected treats like homemade rusks and brownies. There is a stunning sea view from the spacious apartment.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had breathtaking ocean views. Etienne and Louisa were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and thoughtful touches made our stay even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

Honestly, nothing. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!

I love the view from our room. The room faces the ocean and at night you can listen to the waves. I also liked that the place was spacious for our family. The host and their daughter Miranda were so amazing. When we arrived they had treats and fruits for our little family.

The location is fantastic. The host couple, Louisa and Etienne, are wonderful! Every detail you can think of was covered. And provided for. We will be back!

Liked everything

We liked everything about Imberbe! The hosts were very welcoming and the place itself could not have been better. The extras, which included a delicious homemade lemon fridge tart, rusks, fruit and every type of herb or spice were amazing. The view from the rooms and the braai area were picture perfect.

There was nothing we didn't like!

Truely a gem to stay over. I highly recommend Imberbe if you visit Struisbaai.. The hosts Etienne and Louisa, went the extra mile to make us feel at home. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine and in the fridge was a nice dessert. The place was spotless, the ktchen is fully equipped. The patio is overlooking the ocean and comes with a braai fireplace. Even the wood was supplied. We had a fantastic time and will definitely visit Imberbe again.

The Hosts where absolutely amazing ,kind,courteous,go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable during your stay,the attention to detail is impeccable , the welcome with the wine,fruit basket ,brownies just goes to show their passion for what they do.We felt at home and also private enough to go about our daily activities or just relaxing at the accommodation,this is a must if you visiting Struisbaai and promises to be worth your while ,Outstanding hosts,comfortable accommodation,with breathtaking views

First of all the lovely hosts - Etienne and Louisa are so caring and wonderful people. The apartment is not only new and has everything we needed, on top there is this awesome view. Nice braai place, a garage and a terrace. We loved Louisas homemade rusks and brownies & enjoyed fresh fruit as a welcome gift. You really made our trip with our 2 little kids special!!!

A neighbouring property had an alarm going off during the night - both nights on several occasions- that ruined our nights sleep

Welcoming owners live downstairs so available to advise if necessary, superb views from the braai balcony and windows, very well equipped for self catering, comfortable beds, many treats for guests, garage parking, close to Struisbaai beach and Cape Aghulhas.

Driveway may look intimidating but parking in the garage means it’s possible to turn your car instead of trying to reverse.

Gorgeous! Great vacation! We really liked the very clean, beautiful and comfortable house. But most importantly, we met the best people, perhaps, for all our travels around the world! The owners of the house are extremely friendly, sociable and caring people! And they greeted us like old friends. Upon arrival, there were many surprises waiting for us - fruits, wine and a very delicious handmade cake! Throughout our rest, Louisa tried to serve us, and when she saw how many things we had, she gave us comfortable handbags. We highly recommend choosing this holiday home. We will definitely come back if we visit South Africa again.

Our host Louisa and Etienne are great human beings. Kind, social, friendly, open and communicative. A flat built with love and care to details. Super clean. Opening the door to the flat is like coming home. Little amenities like sweets, fruit platter, a bottle of wine completed the very positive impression. We will return, if only to see Louisa and Etienne.
