The rooms are too close to each other with no sound proof . If you don’t have considerate neighbours you can hear their conversations- worse when you have a group that’s drinking and making noise at 2AM ! I did not sleep :( Bread we had requested as early breakfast was stale . Definitely not going to try it again

Leider kann ich die vergangenen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Die "kleinen" Zimmer sind im Laufe der Zeit ziemlich runtergerockt und nicht mehr modernisiert worden. Die Handtücher waren alt und rochen schlecht, sodass wir unsere eigenen Handtücher benutzten. Zudem gibt es kaum Privatsphäre, da andere Gäste über die Terrasse und somit an den Zimmern vorbeigehen müssen, um ihr Zimmer zu erreichen. Im Gegensatz zu dem Eigentümer war die Dame beim Frühstück eher unfreundlich und weniger motiviert. Die Unterkunft verfügt über keine AC und ein Lüften der Wohnung war aufgrund der ganzen Mücken nicht möglich.

Reviewed Oct 15, 2025Bij aankomst wordt je ontvangen door een vriendelijke jongeman die je helpt met het verplaatsen van je bagage naar je kamer. Je krijgt dan de sleutel van de poort en van je kamer. De kamer zelf is prachtig met een heerlijk bed. Je hebt genoeg ruimte om je koffers neer te leggen. De massagedouche was een extra toevoeging aan de badkamer die echt mega fijn was. Uitzicht vanuit de kamer was ook prachtig. Het ontbijt was super lekker. Je hebt volgens mij wel meerdere keuzes, maar wij waren bij het Engelse ontbijt al om. Drinken kon je zelf pakken en hierbij lagen ook kleine lekkernijen!

The bathroom leaked badly when it rained. They had to use a bucket to catch the water. The corner of the ceiling was rotten and hence the water coming through. Apart from this it was great.

Reviewed Feb 17, 2025I was given a choice between two rooms with alternative views. The pool is so clean and blue and an ideal temperature. The bed was huge and comfortable. Big walk in shower, fridge, microwave and kettle. My most valued facility was the cold water dispenser next to the bar, which I used frequently. The main area's furnishings are very tasteful. Cassie is kind, friendly, chatty and accomodating of any needs. The three staff are very efficient, kind and helped with carrying luggage and some fruit when I missed breakfast one day. It's a very safe and peaceful location.
Perhaps some flexibility, which I would have paid for in the breakfast window. On holiday I want to get up later than my work life. I am trying to be healthier in my food choices, so try to avoid sugars or refined grains and eat organic. So, perhaps plain organic yoghurt, no added sugars, rye or wholegrain toast, only butter no margarine, organic eggs, organic sausages and bacon. I always miss mango, paw paw, papaya, real fruit juice and good avocados in the UK, so I look forward to them here and on the lookout. The breakfast was very substantial, filled me up until the evening. The fridge in the room could have benefitted from a couple of ice trays and bottled water so that I could top up during the night. I drank a lot of water as it was so hot, so I was lucky there was an ice cold water dispenser next to the bar inside. Perhaps a beach towel, so that bathroom towels aren't used sand and seawater. However, this place is brilliant and would be my first choice on every trip to East London. Ps, uber is safe and fantastic and cheap.
