Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Die Unterkunft und der Garten sind sehr schön gestaltet. Gutes Frühstück und im Sommer profitiert man sicher von den Pools. Wir waren allerdings im Winter dort. Mit Zimmer 2 waren wir zufrieden.
Unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer 1, wir haben Schimmelbefall in der Küche als Grund entdeckt. Zu kalt im Winter, insbesondere in Zimmer 1 hat das vorhandene Klima/Heizgerät nicht funktioniert und elektrische Heizgeräte konnten uns nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr spärlich!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Hôtel agréable avec un joli jardin. Nos chambres étaient un peu vieillot et insuffisamment chauffées mais les lits étaient confortables. l'espace cuisine et barbecue est un vrai plus. Personnel très agréable.
Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner car il était trop cher. Le prix pour une lessive est aussi clairement abusif mais nous en avions besoin. Les chambres sont à moderniser. La connexion internet est catastrophique. La climatisation réversible dans les chambres fonctionne mal et aurait besoin d'être remplacée par un système plus récent et plus performant.

One evening even a Kudu was strolling around. The apartment is very spacious, the bed comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean.

Wir wurden super nett empfangen und durch die gesamte Anlage geführt. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Für unser Abendessen konnten wir in der Nähe einen Supermarkt finden.

No hay nada en la zona mas que 2 restaurantes cercanos (alli comimos muy bien). El cierre del ventanal que es la puerta a la habitacion es muy pobre.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Ein ruhig gelegenes Gästehaus mit wunderschönem Garten und schönen Zimmern. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sollten wir wieder nach Addo kommen buchen wir wieder im Homestead.

Schöner Poolbereich und toller Garten. Guter Ausgangspunkt für den Addo Park, der über die Unterkunft gebucht werden kann. Sehr zu empfehlen auch der Schotia-Park. In 5 Minuten Entfernung leckere Restaurants, zum Beispiel Molo Lolo.

Die Anlage ist schön, mit Pool. und in guter Entfernung zum Elephant Park. Das Frühstück sah großartig aus, sehr liebevoll angerichtet und in den Räumlichkeiten sehr besonders.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Sehr schöne und liebevoll angelegte Anlage. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir gebraucht haben und war sauber. Safe ist keiner vorhanden, aber das war auch kein Problem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat wirklich lecker geschmeckt. Wir wurden vorab über mögliche Game Drives informiert und konnten diese vorab buchen, aber erst bei Abfahrt bezahlen. Wir haben drei Game Drives gebucht (1x Addo Early Morning Drive, 1x Schotia Private Game Reserve mit Abendessen und 1x Longhill Cheetah) und hatten immer Ronnie als Guide, der wirklich sehr nett war und für uns sehr verständliches Englisch gesprochen hat. Wir haben viel gelernt und viel gesehen.
Wir hatten Zimmer 11 und es war sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten damit aber kein Problem, daher haben wir uns nicht beschwert.

Room 5 would benefit from having an outside light at the braai area so that families can comfortably sit and spend time outside in the evening. In addition, it would be great to have a television with working channels such as news and sports. Providing a Smart TV or access to Netflix would also enhance the experience for guests who would like to relax and watch television.

We have gotten an "upgrade" into " Beyond Cui Bono?" We had 2 rooms. 1 was ok as on the pictures.The second one was older and not so nice. On the floor our toddler found few dead bugs so it could be cleaner. Kitchen was very old and in state "you do not want to use it". Creaky & squeaky bed. Water is not potable (in general everywhere around addo) and as we were there with small kids it was wery inconvinient to wash everything in water from a bottle..1 toilet flush was kinda broken with a paper guiding us, how to flush and not keep the water running. With small kids I would not recomend to stay there. Pool was very dirty, milky water. From the pictures and description I did not expect that.

Bad mit Schimmelproblemen, Pool so stark veralgt, dass er unbenutzbar war.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Accueil professionnel dans cet établissement dédié au parc Addo. Rien à dire sur les prestations, bonne literie, calme, disponibilité de l'hôte. Le flux de visiteurs est important, et la logistique est bien huilée. Une très bonne adresse.
Penser à prendre de l'anti moustique, même si il y en a à disposition dans l'appartement. Utiliser les coordonnées GPS car l'établissement est assez peu visible depuis la route.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit gutem Frühstück. Positiv überraschend war nach der Safari ein Lunchpaket der Anlage im Kühlschrank zu finden. Leider kam dieses zu spät. Am Morgen zur Safari hätten wir es gerne mitgenommen. Leider wurde dieser Service nicht kommentiert.
Es gab null internet.

Zimmer ist sehr einfach und müsste mal modernisiert werden. Vor allem das Bad war nicht mehr zeitgerecht.

Het weer had beter gekund, hadden hele dag regen tijdens de safari. Verder niets op aan te merken, behalve dan dat we naast de receptie zaten en het erg gehorig was.

La carretera para llegar está en obras y es bastante mala y larga, el pueblo es pequeño y como llegamos de noche nos costó encontrar el alojamiento. Aun así la dueña fue muy maja y estaba disponible para darnos indicaciones. Igualmente, id DE DÍA aun que sea la primera noche.

Also arranged our visit to the Addo National Park which was out of this world especially for our overseas guests. A pleasant experience overall and highly recommend.

Der gutes, liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstück wenn man sic nicht selber versorgen möchte, würden wir immer wieder buchen! Tolle Kombi Safari Addo und Schotia über die Unterkunft gebucht. Mit dem Guide Talent nur zu empfehlen, wir haben alles gesehen was es zu sehen gibt, er hat sich extrem viel Mühe gegeben und uns toll durch den Tag begleitet. 10 von 10 Punkten dafür, das war den Preis wert!
Die Dusche hat sich schlecht von der Temperatur regeln lassen, wenn ich etwas bemängeln möchte.
