Onacceptabele stank in huisje nummer 5 met rieten dak. De stank van impregneerschemicaliën bemoeilijkt de ademhaling. Wij hebben de hele nacht gehoest. Wij hebben geprobeerd het huis te luchten en airco aangezet maar het hielp niet. Zelfs onze kleding stinkt omdat onze koffers open waren. Wij hebben bij de receptie aangegeven dat de vloer bezaaid was met oude geplakte insecten. De vrouw zei: " it is nature". De nachtkampen deden het niet. Het is belangrijk om aan te geven dat het kraanwater zeer smerig was. Het rook vies en het was troebel. Het stillstaand water heeft duidelijk te lang in het opslagtank gezeten. Het is mogelijk dat het besmet is met salmonella ( veteranenziekte). Wij kregen te horen dat het water uit de kraan niet drinkbaar is maar na het douchen rookte onze huid vies. Kluis zit los in de kast en werkt niet. Slot van deur werkt niet goed. Denderende vrachtwagens direct achter de accommodatie. Geen prettig verblijf bij Addo Wildlife!

The location is fantastic, just a short drive to the Addo National Park. I love that there are Springboks living on the property too! The highlight was actually Addo Wildlife hotel’s own safari drive, the absolute best!

حجزت غرفة على اساس انو فيها مطبخ ولما وصلت ماحصلت مطبخ وغيرو لي الغرفة بس كانت سيئة جداً وماهي نظيفة بس اضطريت عشان معاي أطفال احتاج اطبخ لهم وماكان متوفر مطاعم حلال ، لكن اكتشفنا بعدين انو المطعم في محمية Addo يقدم دجاج حلال 😅، دخل عصفور في الغرفة وبالقوة طلع سبب لنا رعب.

Well located for a trip to Addo Elephant Park and surrounds, and the animal rehab centre is a nice touch for the children.

The customer experience could be so much better with some attention to detail and hands-on management. The accommodation is good but not four-star in my view, and the space in the lodge is under-utilised (resembling instead the lobby of an exhibition hall). None of which would have troubled me had the service in the restaurant not been so shockingly poor. I was one of several guests who had to send food back to the kitchen as it was served cold, and that was after a 45 minute wait. We were seated at 07:40 the following morning for breakfast, and it eventually arrived at 08:30 and - again - cold. That evening we returned for dinner, and I had to ask a waitress to turn down the volume on her video call which had shattered the silence of a dining room which doesn't appear to have a sound system. Happily, our breakfast arrived in good time the following morning, but the table alongside had no such luck, needing to head off on their scheduled game drive on an empty stomach. I'm sure, like us, they would have raised their concerns with management had anyone bothered to ask if we were enjoying our stays. Overall, what could have been a very good experience was spoiled by poor management and customer relations.

Location was good, facilities okay.

No hot water, fan stuck on the ‘on’ position, toilet was used before we entered. We had a complimentary upgrade which I appreciated but with not hot water and a broken fan that stayed on it was a poor evening

Really nice houses with nice views and springboks roaming around. Also we liked the small animal park they have on the premises.

The breakfast was not great and the dinner took a long time to get ready.

Staff and facilities were excellent. Restaurant offers a variety of choices.

The booking was made for 4 adults but was only registered for 2. We were then given a family unit, which was great, except that it wasn't quite ready. Dishes were still in dishwasher and some remotes didn't work and there were insufficient towels.

Zimmer sehr schön und sehr sauber, alles in kleinen Chalets in einem parkähnlichen Garten mit Springböcken die den Rasen kurz halten und im Garten herumtollen. Die Rezeption ist außergewöhnlich kompetent und sehr freundlich sowie hilfsbereit.

Wir waren in einem wunderschönen Chalet auf dem Gelände von Addo Wildlife. Von der Terasse aus hatte man einen direkten Blick auf die Zitronenplantage. Das Chalet war sauber und man hatte viel Platz, sowie seine Privatsphäre. Das absolute Highlight waren die Game Drives im privaten Reservat von Addo Wildlife, sowie die Tour in den Addo Park. Unser Tour Guide Richard hat uns sehr viele interessante Einblicke in die Natur-und Tierwelt der Region gegeben und war sehr aufmerksam und bemüht uns möglichst viele Tiere zu zeigen. Die Zeit bei Addo Wildlife werden wir für immer wertschätzen und sind froh, dass wir dort einige Tage verbringen konnten.

Das einzige was zu bemängeln wäre ist der fehlende Föhn im Bad, sowie das Frühstück. Der Toast war sehr hart und es wäre schön gewesen noch etwas mehr Auswahl zu haben.

Restaurant breakfast cold had to keep asking them to bring warm food. New managers have lot to learn and should check on presentation and make sure guest have received their food before they take their breaks while we waiting for omelet that takes 20min. Food was tasteless Pastries tasted old. Pizza disguised 🥸

Très grand lodges, avec de grandes baies vitrées donnant sur le parc, salle de bain spacieuse, logement de très bonne qualité, avec une très belle vue. Bon restaurant et bon petit déjeuner avec le restaurant avec une belle terrasse.

Eine tolle Unterkunft. Wir waren von den freilaufenden Springböcken rund um die Häuser total begeistert. Schön gelegener sauberer Pool.

Das keine Tür zwischen Schlafzimmer und Dusche ist und es somit im Zimmer etwas stinkt. Der Kühlschrank war nachts sehr laut.

Der hauseigene Wildlife Park und der Game Drive mit Richard waren der Höhepunkt!

Teilweise etwas etwas abgewohnte Unterkunft, Essen gar nicht gut😟

The accommodation it self was really nice, I can't really. talk about any facilities as it was raining while we were there. They didn't even mention a pool to us, I haven't seen it but it was probably there.

The food in the restaurant is really not good, but the staff itself is lovely. I asked for my food to be well done as I am pregnant but they still gave it medium rare.

Wir waren hier schon das 3.mal und es ist immer wieder ausergewöhnlich. Beste Unterkunft hier in der Nähe. Extrem sauber, viel Platz, sehr ruhig, sehr nettes Personal, sensationelles Fruhstück

Echt geweldig! - De game drive in hun private reserve was echt fantastisch! - De huisjes zijn ruim en hebben alles wat je nodig hebt. - De extra faciliteiten zijn geweldig, vooral de kinderen vonden het te gek! - Het ligt dichtbij het park.

Twee kleine puntjes: 1) Er is geen afsluiting tussen badkamer en slaapkamer, waardoor het erg vroeg licht werd in de ochtend door het gebrek aan gordijnen in de badkamer. 2) wij zijn vegan en het eten hier is, ondanks de moeite van het personeel, absoluut niet vegan friendly. En dat gold eigenlijk voor alle maaltijden, zelfs na herhaaldelijk overleg was het nog niet best, terwijl we dit vooraf en tijdens hadden besproken.

Diese Lodge ist wunderschön. Die Bungalows sind sehr geräumig und toll ausgestattet und von der Terrasse kann man Antilopen sehen. Darüber hinaus gibt es auf der Lodge einen kleinen Zoo. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Lodge ist nur zehn Autominuten vom Nordeingang des Addo Elephant Nationalpark entfernt. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen. Alles war perfekt!

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, große Zimmer/Suite, Parkplatz direkt am Haus, eigene Terasse, sehr gepflegte Anlage und Park, gute Restaurant Qualität, der eigene Tierpark ist auf jeden Fall ein Muss.

Das Frühstück war nicht so reichhaltig und hätte besser sein können, insbesondere die Temperatur der warmen Speisen. Während der 3 Tage unseres Aufenthaltes war die Qualität und die Vielfalt des Frühstücks sehr unterschiedlich.

Die beiden jungen Damen an der Rezeption waren super freundlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben am späten Nachmittag einen Gamedrive durch den privaten Park gemacht. Hier haben wir Löwen, Giraffen und super viele andere Tiere gesehen. Unser Fahrer Richard hat uns super viel erklärt und gezeigt. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir einen Gamedrive im ADDO Nationalpark gemacht. Wir haben hunderte Elefanten gesehen. Wir mussten vor dem Gamedrive auschecken, durften dann aber wieder kommen und den Pool noch benutzen. Wir haben sogar noch Poolhandtücher bekommen.

Buon ristorante interno che ci ha dato la possibilità di cenare poco prima della chiusura, giochi per bambini nei pressi dello stesso, staff cortese, parcheggio comodo. Molto buono per ingresso al parco Addo e posizione vicino a supermercato

Das Personal war extrem freundlich. Die Lage ist top und Safaris werden von der Unterkunft aus angeboten.

Das Gesamtensemble mit den kleinen Chalets und dem Haupthaus ist wunderschön.

Ventilator ist ausgefallen und wurde trotz Hinweis nicht repariert. Klimaanlage ist zu laut. So haben wir in unserer Verzweiflung die Tür geöffnet und wurden dann leider von Moskitos überfallen.

Beds exceptionally comfortable. Air conditioning an absolute bonus for keeping room warm and comfortable. Food was simple but quite adequate.

At breakfast the plates were cold so food from the buffet breakfast was instantly cold. Request to have the plates warmed up was happily fulfilled. The coffee/tea cups too were icy cold, so by the time a cup of tea was made it too was ice cold.

Our stay at Addo Wildlife Lodge was nothing short of outstanding. The staff are, without exaggeration, some of the best I have ever encountered in all my travels. Every single person was incredibly polite, proactive, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. They consistently went above and beyond, checking in with us, anticipating our needs, and making us feel completely comfortable and at home. The lodges themselves are top-notch. Beautifully designed, modern, and immaculately maintained, they are among the best cabins I have ever stayed in. Everything inside felt thoughtful, luxurious, and perfectly finished. The game drive was a fantastic experience as well — fun, engaging, and well organised. It added a wonderful sense of adventure to the stay. The highlight of the evenings was the buffet dinner, which was simply magical. The chef deserves special praise for his warmth and flexibility. My aunt showed him a recipe, and he went out of his way to prepare it from scratch just for us. If that isn’t going the extra mile, I honestly don’t know what is. This lodge sets a very high standard for hospitality, comfort, and care. I only wish we had stayed longer — and I would return in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended!

Wat een mooie locatie. Voor je huisje zie je de springbokjes voorbij springen. Personeel is erg behulpzaam en de gastvrijheid voelt persoonlijk aan. De gamedrives waren fantastisch.

The room was extremely clean and very modern, our stay was wonderfull. The bar tenders was an absolute treat they made our stay memorable and gave us the best service and were absolutely exceptional!!!!

The breakfast was not great there was not a variety of breakfast and we had to ask for glasses and bowls to start dicing up. And the eggs were cold and there was not enough for me and my partner.

Friendly service, lovely restaurant, excellent safaris with very knowledgeable guide. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Rooms were a little dated though that’s reflected in the price and unimportant as time is spent out and about.

Wir haben uns in der gebuchten Suite sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Springböcke und der Pool sind ein Highlite. Auch das Restaurant können wir guten Gewissens empfehlen.

The property had all the facilities that you would need for small kids. It was beautiful waking up in the morning with the spring buck right outside your cottage.

Unfortunately the security gate on the lounge area on our cottage could not open as a previous guest had broken the key off in the door.

Tolle Lage Nähe Addo, schöne Häuser , grosser Park mit Wildlife und Pool.

Viele Käfige sind viel zu klein und den Tieren nicht würdig im Mini-Zoo was zur Anlage gehört. Sehr schade.

Der Guide beim Game Drives war sehr informativ und hat uns gut auf die, nicht Elefanten beinhaltende, Fahrt vorbereitet. Das Buschessen war sehr gut.

Die Lage sollte von der Schnellstraße besser abgeschirmt werden. Die Infos zu den verschiedenen Game Touren war sehr schlecht. Es wurde nicht vermittelt das die Safari nicht in Addo Nationalpark geht sondern in den Hauseigenen Park. Der Pool war winzig, die 2 vorhandenen Poolliegen hatten keine Auflagen. Die einzel stehenden Häuser stehen auf der grűnen Wiese, ohne Bewuchs. Sehr ungütliche Bebauung. Wer Elephanten sehen will ist im hauseigenem Park falsch.

For us, this accommodation was perfect. Very nice and big and clean family cottage. The garden and pool is nice, great playground and the entrance for the animal sanctuary is for free and right next door. Food was also good at the restaurant for us.

All was good
