Situated on the corner of two roads, one extremely busy. Not realised this from search! Very narrow small bathroom!

Chambre petite ( rien pour poser et manque de cintres dans l’armoire) difficile de se tourner dans la salle de bain ( manque tablette au dessus lavabo, wc bruyant ainsi que la tuyauterie). Manque insonorisation chambres, toiles araignées fenêtre. Mauvais rapport qualité prix

Staff were fabulous. Parking was easy and location was great. It has all the pre-requisites to be great.

The room is dated, old fashioned and noisy (floors, stairs creaking all around and noise from outside - students) - it's still in the 1980's with very limited space and access to ensuite is for a small person. Also when I booked it said breakfast was €15 extra - when I arrived - they said it was included ?

Great location. Very welcoming staff. Parking was straightforward. Comfortable bed and excellent shower with lots of hot water. Perfect for a single night stay after an event in the city.

Room decor is a bit dated and the floor felt a bit sticky but overall it was scrupulously clean

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel, mit überaus freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeitern! Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück in schönem Ambiente, direkt am Wasser, das keine Wünsche offen lässt!

The location was perfect for me as a student at UCC. Friendly efficient staff, comfy bed, delicious breakfast, good coffee.

With the window open, a bit noisy, but perfectly quiet with the window closed.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Bushaltestelle in nächster Nähe. Vermieter sehr nett. Grundsätzlich ein nettes Guesthouse.

Das "Doppelzimmer" unterm Dach ist für zwei erwachsene Personen sehr klein und durch die schrägen Wände sehr beengt. Das Bett ist zu schmal. Das Badezimmer bietet so gut wie keine Ablagefläche und hat kein Fenster und keine Abluft. Also Sitzgelegenheiten nur einen Hocker.

Sehr tolle Lage, ein schönes Zimmer und ein modernes, tolles - wenn auch sehr kleines Bad. Frühstück war sehr gut und die Bedienung beim Frühstück war sehr nett. Es waren alle Angestellten im Haus sehr nett.

Prima Lage etwas außerhalb von Cork, aber fußläufig schnell zu erreichen und Bus fährt auch vor der Tür ab, hatten Zimmer mit Badewanne, Frühstück war lecker, abends auch Möglichkeit für Drink und Tapas, Terrasse am Fluss ist nett zum erholen nach dem Stadtrundgang

Shandon Bells is spread across two lovely Victorian houses just by the gates of University College Cork. The houses are very beautiful and the location is convenient for both UCC and the city centre. Shandon Bells appears to be run by hosts who do not live on site and a range of staff operate the B&B - from those who check you in to the wonderful woman who cooks breakfast (seemingly single handedly!) The rooms are comfortable if sparse and Shandon Bells gives the feeling of a business based upon profit and turnover rather than a family run B&B where the focus is on the end to end visitor experience.

The rooms feel a bit 'cheap and cheerful' despite the lovely architecture all around. The woman who cooks breakfast deserves a medal as she seems to run the busy (and very lovely) breakfast room by herself.

Staff are amazing, breakfast was really good, lovely Riverside setting, right beside UCC, walking distance to city centre.

I didn’t mind the very small room. What I minded was the cost of the very small room. And there was no chair to sit on, just a bed.

Ausblick vom Zimmer war nicht so toll. Bett war schon sehr schmal.

Staff were helpful and did attend to our needs. Breakfast was reasonable. Location was superb, just beside the University and near parks. It was walking distance from the city centre.

Room a little on the small side and the shower (in a bath) was tricky to access and exit.

The towels were changed on our second day. There was free parking (ours was at a secure location 2 doors down) good breakfast

Felt like it needed updating. Was tired in places. No mirror to dry hair etc in the bedroom. Had to kneel on the bed as only one behind the headboard

Chambre très très humide, odeur de renfermé, chambre située au rez-de-chaussée en face de la porte donc très bruyant, cher pour la qualité

The location was convenient for exploring the city on foot. What contact we had with the staff was pleasant.

Our room, #1 was very damp and smelled excessively of mildew. The hallway did not have an odour, however once in the room, the smell was very strong. Our clothing had picked up the mildew smell too.

Camera sottotetto piccola ma lo sapevo già, soltanto non mi aspettavo che per arrivare all’ultimo piano le scale fossero molto strette e non c’era l’ascensore e il letto matrimoniale era davvero piccolo, mentre il bagno aveva tutto ed era fatto bene pur essendo piccolino

Stanza comoda e pulita, doccia confortevole con un ottimo getto d'acqua. Disponibilità di comodo parcheggio privato e in circa 15 minuti a piedi si è in centro. Simpatica e disponibile la ragazza che ci ha accolti!

Colazione nella norma, con poche informazioni fornite dallo staff presente e poca attenzione (a differenza della persona che ci ha accolti che quando usciva dalla cucina ti faceva sentire a proprio agio)

Salle de bain avec lavabo collé à la vitre de la douche. Jus d'orange remplacé par de l'eau aromatisée. Oreillers plats non confortables.

Špatně tekoucí voda. V pokoji 10 sprcha ve které se dalo blbě sprchovat protože se tam člověk nevešel.

The location and setting are great, we loved sitting outside and having breakfast or a drink. The staff was great, food was really good.

Not sure this was the best place for us. We are older and this place has a lot of narrow stairs. Rooms were small and awkward. Better suited for some one younger or more agile then us.

Bett war nicht sehr bequem. Wir hatten wohl das kleinste Zimmer.

La ubicación , pero solo para una noche o dos xomo mucho. La disponibilidad de hervidor, café y té Cama bastante cómoda.

Se trata de un edificio antiguo con todas su desventajas. En nuestro caso concreto, el mobiliario era anticuado y avejentado y del baño salia un olor desagradable. Después el hecho que la ventana solo se pueda abrir unos pocos centímetros, da un poco sensación de claustrofobia. Nuestra habitacion estaba en la planta baja y se oia a otros turistas bajar la escalera desde temprano. Tambien nos venia olor fuerte a comida desde las 7 hrs por lo que tuvimos que cerrar la ventana. El desayuno: relación calidad/precio mala .Se aprovrchan de la conveniencia, pero no merece la pena si se encuentra una alternativa por los alrededores.

Room and bathroom was enough comfortable. The bed wasn't so flat, maybe a spring? Top-notch service, very good breakfast, excellent hotel location, 1100 m from the center!

The mattress probably needs to be replaced, but you can still rest comfortably.

Lage zur Innenstadt etwa 10Min zu Fuss. Frühstück mit guter Auswahl an warmen Speisen. Personal sehr Freundlich. Parkplatz war zugewiesen.

Zimmer mit spärlicher Ausstattung nur ein Stuhl und kein Tisch.

Adatta come appoggio per una notte. Posizione buona e staff cordiale. La presenza del parcheggio è stata davvero utile.

Camera mansardata per cui in alcuni punti ci si doveva inchinare. Doccia davvero scomoda. In generale adatta come appoggio per una notte.

Schöne alte Stadtvilla in unmittelbarer Nähe des Uni-Campus. Alles in die Jahre gekommen, deshalb sehr gemütlich. Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist einfach herrlich. 10 min. zu Fuß und ich war mitten im Stadtzentrum.

Fenster lassen sich nur ein wenig anklappen.

Es un hotel con mucho encanto, en una casa antigua de tipología local pero adaptada como hotel. Aunque mi habitación no era muy grande (era individual), era confortable y suficiente. Lo que más me gustó fue el desayuno, donde tengo que destacar tanto la calidad, servicio del personal y especialmente el espacio donde se hace, es una zona muy agradable que da al rio.

Quizás que hubiese una zona para poder trabajar.

1 nuit passée à Cork, au Shandon Bells Guest House, où nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre, le bar sont très bien avec une terrasse sur la rivière très agréable. L'hôtel est situé à moins de 30' à pied du centre ville.

Shandon Bells combines old-fashioned guesthouse charm (the house itself) with a modern approach to hospitality. The breakfast was excellent, location ideal for me and the staff very polite and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower water pressure excellent. The patio on the river was a quiet place for reading. The place was very clean. My bedroom floor was wood (not carpeted) and this helped to give the room a very clean look.

I can't mention anything I didn't like, because the overall experience was very positive. It's not as soundproofed as a modern hotel building would be, but this is because it is an authentic traditional building with wooden floors and doors.

La stanza è carina, Simpatica la zona colazione, con una bella area esterna. Bene il parcheggio privato. Posizione discreta a 15' dal centro a piedi

Il bagno un po' piccolo, lavandino scomodo

El comedor del desayuno es muy agradable, tiene una terraza con flores y preciosas vistas al río, donde llegamos a ver una garza pescando. El desayuno está muy bien y el personal es muy amable y eficiente. La casa es muy bonita y se puede aparcar.

La habitación para tres personas es muy pequeña y el baño diminuto e incómodo. El mobiliario está gastado.

Staff gentile e disponibile

Nel c'era odore di fogna ( probabilmente per tubature vecchie e non manutentate) ma con un bagno piccolo e senza finestra non si poteva aprire la porta per fare girare l'aria. La signorina della reception ha gentilmente cercato di migliorare la situazione con del sapone profumato, ma il risultato non è cambiato molto. Consiglio, stante le dimensioni della camera e del bagno (stanza n. 4), di far controllare l'impianto.

Buona la posizione, il centro raggiungibile a piedi, location bellissima lungo fiume, personale super gentile, colazione ottima e abbondante, la camera era quella economica ma comunque abbastanza spaziosa e pulita, c'è anche disponibilità del parcheggio recintato, ci tornerei.

Letto più piccolo di un matrimoniale alla francese, bagno ampio ma water non fissato al pavimento. Colazione scadente e insufficiente. Rapporto qualità-prezzo pessimo. Per far colazione si doveva uscire dalla struttura ed entrare in un edificio a fianco.

La ubicación perfecta porque estaba al lado de la Universidad. Zona muy tranquila
