La atención fue excepcional Selyna es súper agradable y cercana. Le pedimos una cena y fue de 10 igual que el desayuno en la terraza con esas vistas. Al ser nuestra luna de miel tuvo el detalle de darnos una mejor habitación que estaba vacía,

Es una casa particular donde alquila las habitaciones, se encuentra un poco alejado del centro, como cualquiera que no esté en la avenida principal. Lo recomiendo

Estuvo todo perfecto. Al llegar me ofreció un vaso con limonada, al final me quedé en una habitación mejor que la que había reservado en un principio. La habitación estaba genial, estaba todo limpio, amplio cuarto de baño, cama cómoda y el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente. El desayuno fue abundante y estaba muy bueno, con buenas vistas. Personal fue muy agradable. Gracias por todo!!

Selyna ist eine hervorragende und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin, die leckers Frühstück auf der herrlichen Terasse und ein Frühstückspaket für unsere Wanderung gezaubert hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Selyna was an amazing host, we were greeted by her lovely smile and a delicious drink, even though we arrived late at night. The accommodation was everything you could want, clean, comfortable bed and a hot shower. Walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants, and her dog Ollie is absolutely gorgeous!

ホテルのロケーションがとても良かった。朝食は外で取ったが、気温も涼しく景色も味もよかった。そして飼い犬のオリがとても人懐っこく可愛かった。

Wir haben uns sofort herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt. Eine tolle und zuvorkommende Gastgeber Familie! Das Zimmer war genau wie beschrieben und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top! Das Frühstück war super lecker mit tollem Blick auf die Stadt.

A beautiful home stay in close proximity to the city. Selyna was a wonderful host and prepared a lovely breakfast each morning. I would recommend this stay to all my friends and family.

The view was stunning, and the property is in the most affluent neighbourhood in town. Selyna was very welcoming and helpful with everything that I wanted to know about the attractions and things to see and do in Kandy and on the way to Nurawa Eliya. The room and its bathroom were stylish and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and just perfect, with fruits, coffee, juice and omelette made with her special recipe. I can definitely recommend this property.

I ticked the box when searching for within 1 km of the town centre, but it's stretching the truth to say that it is. You need a tuk-tuk to get into town, as it's really too far to walk, unless you are happy to walk a couple of kilometres on a maze of windy hilly streets. I was awakened at midnight by a scratching sound above my room, and Selyna said at breakfast that it must have been bats. It was a bit alarming at the time though. With my room at least, it was probably not quite as pollished as the photos. However, despite these drawbacks, I'm still very glad that I found the place, as the property and Selyna really added to my stay in Kandy.

Alojamiento perfecto. Habitación como un hotel europeo,, baño con buena ducha y agua caliente, el aire acondicionado muy bueno, desayuno muy rico y Selyna encantadora y dispuesta a ayudarte en todo. Aunque esta en la colina se agradece que por la noche no se oye nada y puedes desconectar del caos del centro

Todo genial, lo único a tener en cuenta que esta en una especie de colina y vas a tener que usar tuk tuk sobretodo para subir ( usar uber, sale 70 céntimos de euro)

L’accueil est génial, le petit déjeuner délicieux. C’est un vrai plaisir de pouvoir discuter avec l’hôte. La chambre est confortable. La vue est très sympa. Le quartier est en hauteur de Kandy et est au calme, quelques minutes en Tuk tuk sufissent pour rejoindre le centre (ou 25 minutes à pied).

Super nette Gastgeberin, die uns ein leckeres Frühstück auf einer Terrasse mit umwerfender Aussicht zubereitet hat. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön oberhalb der Stadt Kandy, Restaurants sind fussläufig gut erreichbar.

We have absolutely loved our stay with Selyna. This was honestly one of our favourite stays in 1.5 years travelling around Asia. Selyna is so welcoming, and you feel right at home. We also loved Ollie, her beautiful dog, who was so sweet and loving! The room and en-suite were spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Selyna is an amazing chef and made a delicious breakfast every day (every day we had something different). She also has great recommendations on what to do/where to eat around the area. You can walk into town, but we usually went by tuk tuk which was very cheap and easy to book. This stay was the highlight of Kandy for us and we could have easily stayed longer, enjoying the terrace and watching the wildlife from there - it’s a beautiful, quiet spot! I highly recommend staying with Selyna if you come to Kandy!

A beautiful property in the hills away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Lovely host with good breakfasts on the patio overlooking the hillside. Room was very large with a comfortable bed.

Not a reflection on the property at all, but there is a 25 minute walk down the hill to see the main attractions. Need to get a tuktuk when you want to go back.

Gorgeous ceiling to floor windows with perfect view of the sunrise, the family running the property are the sweetest, kindest and most caring people! I really recommend!!!

La maison est très belle, la propriétaire très accueillante et flexible. J’ai été surclassée car il y avait peu de monde en raison du contexte géopolitique. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent et le petit déjeuner était le meilleur de mon séjour au Sri Lanka.

We had the best experience at Selyna Sky Terrace. Large room very clean and very comfortable matters. Breakfast on both mornings was exceptional. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Selyna, the host. She is the kindest and most helpful person I ever met in Sri Lanka and her dog Ollie was an absolute sweetheart.

A great home stay with an incredibly friendly and helpful host. The location is in the hills about a mile from the centre of Kandy which is great to escape the busy ness. The views are amazing. The host offered lots of ideas of things to see and do in Kandy. The room is slightly dated but nothing that would impact your stay.

Everything was perfect! Selyna was so friendly, the room was so clean and lovely. Perfect location too! And friendly dog Olly was a bonus too :)

We kregen een gratis upgrade. Een superruime kamer met een prachtig uitzicht op de stad en bergen. Fantastische badkamer met goede douche. Een uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd op het terras met uitzicht. Selyna en haar hond Olly maken van je verblijf een feestje (in deze volgorde)

We had a lovely one night stay! Selyna is very kind and the room is clean and comfortable. We also had a lovely breakfast on the terrace. The property is about 15 mins walk from central. It was nice to be out of the busy city but within easy reach of everything we needed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Selyna Sky Terrace in Kandy and felt at home from the very first moment. Selyna is an incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful host who truly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable. She organised a TukTuk for us with a great driver and gave us very helpful recommendations for our time in Kandy. The room was beautiful, very clean, modern, and offered breathtaking views. Everything was thoughtfully designed and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was phenomenal and one of the best we had during our trip. A special highlight was Ollie, Selyna’s adorable dog, who made our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Todo estuvo gestionado directamente por Selyna, quien se encargó de que no faltara nada y de que la estancia fuera lo más cómoda posible. Su cercanía y disposición marcan realmente la diferencia. Se respira mucha paz en todo el entorno y las vistas son espectaculares, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial. El lugar resulta acogedor y agradable, ideal para descansar. Selyna is the most caring host that we met. She is really sweat and full of recommandations based on your timing. The location is up to the hill far from the noise of the city (you can go down to the city by walk and come back with tuktuk) The breakfast on the terrace was lovely The bathroom is really clean with available products for washing

Selyna is an incredible host. The room was incredibly private with an exceptional view and very good air conditioning. We felt part of the family and loved meeting her dog, Ollie. Breakfast was fantastic.

Beautiful view, many lovely birds, trees and monkeys visible from the terrace where breakfast was served. Selyna was so kind and thoughtful. The room was stunning, and best of all she has the loveliest dog, Ollie. She had a last minute cancellation and gave us a room upgrade for free. Cannot recommend her enough. One of our best stays in Sri Lanka.

Deze accommodatie kan niet anders dan een 10 krijgen. De eigenaresse, haar familie en enorm lieve hond geven je een gevoel van thuis! Een warmer welkom kan je niet krijgen. De accommodatie is schoon, ruim. Het terras heeft een fantastisch mooi uitzicht en het ontbijt is met liefde gemaakt. Dit verblijf kan ik absoluut aanraden aan iedereen, en wij zouden er zeker weer terug komen!!

Selyna Sky Terrace is a stunning place! From the initial contact to leaving, the experience was so warm and wonderful! I arrived late on the first night after a delayed flight and Selyna’a husband welcomed me. I planned to stay 1 or 2 nights but ended up staying 3 nights as it was so nice and also fit with my 2 day knuckles trek really well. Selyna is so warm, kind and welcoming. She really goes over and above and looked after me (as a solo traveller) incredibly well. The accommodation is great: very clean and stylish Sri Lanka vibes. I stayed in the upstairs room which was spacious and had a nice en suite and everything you could need. No view from the window, but that’s fine as the terrace has an exceptional view! The most stunning place to enjoy breakfast while enjoying nature. The breakfasts are fantastic: all home made, varies each day and delicious. Selyna was a joy to talk with - a smart, interesting and very caring lady. She also helped me arrange a driver to the south and arranged dinner for me when I briefly lost my wallet. Her family is also very lovely and welcoming - and Ollie the dog is very sweet and likes a good head ruffle. The location is great if you want to be chilled with great view, but within reach of Kandy. While there’s not much in the immediate vicinity it’s easy to arrange tuk tuks into Kandy (Uber or Pickme apps or through Sylena). There also a cool restaurant/bar with delicious food and good view 12 mins walk - it’s called Marinate. There’s also bigger apartment downstairs which looks great for a couple. Highly recommended!

La vue du logement est incroyable et la dame qui s’occupe du logement a être adorable, elle nous a donné des conseils et même préparer le dîner à deux reprises.

Bel accueil, belle vue au calme, bon petit déjeuner, chambre confortable. On peut descendre au centre à pied en 20’ ou aller à la grande tete de Buddha.

Un alojamiento increíble, por un precio más que asequible para el entorno en el que se encuentra. La limpieza de la habitación, la mejor que hemos tenido en Sri Lanka. Agua caliente y buena presión de agua. Las vistas no pueden ser más increíbles, te sientes en plena naturaleza. El mejor desayuno que hemos tenido durante nuestra estancia. Obviamente, no podemos olvidar a su perrito Ollie. A nosotros que nos encantan los animales, fue maravilloso tenerla. Muchísimas gracias Selyna por acogernos y por lo que has creado en tu hogar.

La signora Selyna è stata da subito accogliente e disponibile, la casa è stupenda arredata con gusto e accogliente, il bagno comodo e tutto pulito. La posizione seppur scomoda da un punto di vista logistico, offre una vista sulle colline di Kandy che compensa appieno i minuti di auto spesi per arrivarci. Per finire la Colazione incredibile buonissima varia e abbondante Dulcis in fundo Olly il cagnolino della signora Selyna è una bomba di simpatia

Amazing view, amazing host, amazing breakfast. The room is very comfortable, with big terrace from which you can with a bit of a luck observe the local wildlife - various birds, squirels, monkeys, or fruitbats. Selyna is very attentive host, yet not intrusive, and with her little helper Oli she was always so helpful with everything. Every day we were able to taste different meal she prepared for breakfast. We felt very welcomed.

Selyna is a fantastic host, who manages this place with all her heart. And Ollie, her friendly dog, is so sweet.

Este alojamiento es el que más nos ha gustado en nuestra ruta por Sri Lanka, tanto por el trato de Selyna y su perro, como por la comodidad de la habitación y por el delicioso desayuno. Selyna es una mujer encantadora y nos recibió con mucha amabilidad. Nos recomendó un lugar para cenar que nos gustó mucho. La habitación es espaciosa y el lavabo es nuevo, lo que se agradece sobre todo a la hora de ducharse. El desayuno fue delicioso con unas vistas espectaculares. En definitiva, nos encantó este lugar.

Selyna fue muy amable un trato excelente,el desayuno muy bueno y variado,las vistas desde el alojamiento son únicas nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitáramos lo recomendamos mucho .

We stayed for one night, arriving late afternoon on the train from Ella. Selyna was a wonderful host and very helpful to ensure we made the most of our time there. The property is in a tranquil location in the hills, so cooler and pleasant away from the city. Olly the dog was good fun and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. We would definitely recommend Selyna's place.

Bij aankomst werder we gelijk heel fijn door de host en haar hond ontvangen. We voelden ons gelijk welkom! We kregen bij aankomst gelijk allemaal tips voor waar we konden eten en hoe we het beste een wandelroute konden afleggen. Heel fijn want zo konden we snel kandy gaan verkennen. Verder ook echt een hele fijne ruime kamer met een super lekkere warme douche. Ik zou deze stay zeker aanraden!
