The property has 3 or 4 rooms on the same landing - one drunken resident woke the whole house by banging on the windows and doors at 3am because they couldn’t find their keys , then he entered my room !!!!!

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Très propre et calme. Accès facile à la salle de bain même si on la partage avec les autres occupants. Pas trop loin du centre-ville. Il faut être à l’aise de croiser l’hôte dans la maison, car très présente (c’est chez elle).
Personne sur place à l’arrivée. On sonne à multiples reprises et on fait le tour de la maison. Personne à l’intérieur, on décide de quitter. Finalement, elle nous dit qu’elle était sur place. Aucune explication à la situation. Ça s’est bien résolu. Ça semblait exceptionnel.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026So friendly hosts, Celene and George helped me in many ways and we had some nice conversations. Celene gave me good recommendations. The house was beautifully decorated and there was the best shower in the whole trip. The surrounding was so quiet and I slept so well in the comfartable bed. The room was large and there was enough space for clothes.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026De eigenaars waren zeer hulpvaardig. Tranquility ligt in een rustige wijk. Vanuit mijn raam had ik uitzicht op Sligo. Waar ik ook blij mee was, dat de Celine eraan gedacht had om de gordijnen van te voren dicht te laten, zodat het niet te warm was op de kamer.
De locatie is op zich niet te ver van het stadscentrum van Sligo, maar je moet daarvoor wel een heel drukke straat passeren en de stoplichten voor voetgangers duren heel lang.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The house is just a 12-minute walk from the town centre, yet it is located in a peaceful and quiet area. Celene was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Celine war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns viele Tipps für Sligo gegeben und mehrmals gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, uns warm genug ist, etwas fehlt etc. Am Abreisetag hat es geregnet und ihr Mann hat uns sogar zum Bahnhof gefahren. Sehr lieb!
Die Hausregeln sind sehr speziell, z.B. durften wir nicht zu zweit im Bad unsere Zähne putzen, sondern nur nacheinander. Bei 4 Apartments und einem Bad hat das an einem Tag sogar dazu geführt, dass wir uns im Zeitstress nicht fertig machen konnten, sonst hätten wir unseren Bus verpasst. Einzelne fragwürdige Regeln sollten vielleicht angepasst oder verworfen werden, macht keinen Sinn... Außerdem ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis echt heftig, das war die mit Abstand teuerste Unterkunft unserer Irland-Reise, obwohl sie vergleichbar mit allen anderen war...

To be very quiet after 11pm when floor, doors and bed were very noisy. No option to bring food with you into your bed when there is no kitchen or living room.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026We only stayed for one night but the beds were extremely comfortable and there was a generous supply of tea and coffee in our room along with a kettle for making our own beverages. The shared bathroom was spotless. Our hostess Celene was very friendly and gave us good information about the local area. The property is conveniently situated near the main Sligo bus route which is just 5 minutes walk away and provides easy access to the city sights and the beautiful beaches nearby.
We liked everything but we found it difficult to open the front door with the key provided but fortunately Celene was there to let us in.

Staff knocking my door at 8:00 when the check out was at 10:00 because they had a workers changing windows, this should be informed when I booked the room not when I arrived, workers being very noisy in the morning when I was sleeping, knocking my door to wake me up because the needed change the window in the toilets and bedroom, I wouldn't back there tbh, white blankets with yellow patches, staff asking in the morning what time we back last night, night before asking if we drink or smoke, absolutely innecesary questions

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The room was very comfortable and cosy and we had a great sleep and the location is lovely and quiet too. Celene and Charles are very welcoming and friendly, really lovely people. It's only a short walk into the city too.
We didn't like that it's a shared bathroom. Both my partner and I were dying to go to the loo but had to wait for others to finish showering/washing. I also would've liked to have had the option of breakfast the following morning.

Celene and Charles were wonderful w lots of good chat and advice, and some of the other guests helped me out regarding how best to travel to my next destination. I would stay here again!

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025So homely!! Warm, clean, comfy, great staff, great location. The lady who runs the place is an angel. She’s a lovely lady. She went out of her way to help us constantly. I would recommend this place 100%. I felt so at home the whole time, comfy beds too, nicely decorated. Great value too.
Everything was fantastic, only thing that may be a downside for someone else is no eating hot food upstairs, although me and my friend didn’t mind. We enjoyed eating in the dining room, no issues. No complaints at all.
