Reviewed Aug 26, 2026L'host è stata molto gentile ed accogliente, ha dato mappe e consigli utili su cosa visitare. Anche se non è presente nell'elenco dei servizi è stata offerta la colazione, che è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. La struttura offre il parcheggio ed è molto accogliente.
La posizione non era centralissima, ma con la macchina e il parcheggio messo a disposizione non è un problema.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Sheila is the most wonderful and gracious of hosts! And her whole house oozes with her good energy. The room was very comfortable, the so-called "light breakfast" was still a plethora of great options to choose from (oats, cereals, freshly baked croissants, all the coffee and tea in the world). We slept perfectly deep sleeps, the bathrooms are in great shape, and the big garden and veranda are perfect for some morning reading with a steaming cup of tea. Sheila was so knowledgeable and generous, making this 2-day pitstop amid our Irish cycling trip an absolute joy — thanks a million!
It is a little far outside of Sligo's city centre, but there are buses and Sheila even offered to drive us into town one night! The upside to its location is that it is relatively close to Strandhill and its gorgeous beaches, so this is not even a criticism, really :)

There was no TV in the bedroom nor communal area. It said breakfast included but no cooked breakfast available only cereal or you could make yourself toast. No kettle etc. in bedroom, so felt awkward going into the main kitchen to make tea/ coffee. Shared bathroom was a real problem especially with my husband's complex medical issues. Also feather duvet on bed may be a problem with allergy sufferers. The house on the whole was clean but the 'distressed' furniture in the room was filthy ( see photos) also a dirty dusty looking light shade. For over €100 it really was over priced!!

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Sehr gemütliches Zimmer. Badezimmer über den Gang jedoch reserviert nur für uns. Obwohl es kein Frühstück gibt, jedoch Selbstbedienung für Kaffee, Tee, Toast und Müsli haben wir frische Gipfeli und Schokoladebrötchen erlalten. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Sheila!

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Sheila und ihr Mann waren großartige Gastgeber, wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. :) Sie gab uns tolle Tipps fürs Abendessen und Pubs mit Live Musik, sodass wir dort eine tolle Zeit hatten. Zudem gab es ein gutes Frühstück und sie kaufte extra veganes Frühstück für uns ein. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles war gemütlich. Zudem konnten wir vor dem Haus parken. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! Wir kommen gerne wieder. 😊

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025The place is super quiet and out of town, but it is still close enough to travel back and forth very quickly. It's a big house with three rooms and a shared bathroom. Everything was clean and the breakfast was also delicious. The owner is really lovely and was very helpful in finding the right itinerary for the day we left the property.
The bedroom we stayed in was a bit small for my taste, but still cozy. Having to share the bathroom with the other two rooms was a bit annoying, but it is a known issue when you have to share the toilet.

Все же общая ванная комната не всегда удобно, особенно когда ваш график совпадает с графиком других гостей.

We were only there for 1 night, but she was a great host that picked us up from the train station to save us a cab ride, and then gave us so many tips for what to do in Sligo town for the night, and then recommendations for what to do the next day and rest of the weekend to make the most of our trip.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2025This was a lovely room in an established house. The owners are onsite and friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and cooked to perfection. The dining room was light and airy, but still felt homely and cosy.
The only thing I wasn't keen on was the shared bathroom, but it wasn't really an issue. It was only shared with the other guests, another couple.
