המיקום מצוין. קרוב להכל. יש חניית בכחול לבן ברחוב הצימר. חנייה ציבורית במרחק של כמה דקות הליכה. החדר מעוצב מאוד יפה עד לפרטים הקטנים. נקי מאוד. שירותים ומקלחת במצב טוב, אבל לא גדולים במיוחד. יש חצר פנימת מאוד יפה, מוצלת עם מזרקה ופינות ישיבה שמאוד נעים לשבת בה. המארחת הייתה לבבית, ענתה מהר לכל בקשה וניסתה לעזור. מקום פסטורלי. מתאים לזוגות. סה"כ הייתה חוויה טובה והיינו חוזרים שוב.

בחדר אין טלפויזיה/מיקרוגל/ כריים וכו'- לא מתאים לבישול בתוך החדר. מגישים ארוחת בוקר בלבד וגם לא בשבת. לקראת השבת השאירו לנו ארוחת בוקר בתוך המקרר מיום שישי. ארוחות בוקר היו די צנועות ורחוקות ממה שאנחנו רגילים לקבל בצימר/בית מלון ישראלי. ביום שישי הוגשו רק 3 פנקייקים קטנים עם סירופ, יוגרט וסלט פרות. הכל בקטן. לאחר שהתלוננו למחרת בעלת הצימר קצת שיפרה את הארוחה בשבת.

The hostess thinks of all the details that make the stay an enjoyable and pampering experience. It also has a personalized touch that makes it like a VIP stay. The times for check-in and check out, the breakfast, and especially the amenities for those who observe the Shabbat.

There is nothing I didn't like.

Excellent stay, highly recommended. The place was excellent, clean, and very well maintained. The hosts stayed in touch with us even before our arrival and provided clear and helpful directions, which made it easy to find the property within the maze-like streets of the Old City. We received a wonderful welcome and were given great recommendations and assistance in getting oriented around the city. The breakfast was excellent and absolutely delicious. The property had a charming, peaceful atmosphere that made our stay especially enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future.

The whole setting was just delightful and the location is just superb. The staff were just amazing - they were friendly, respectful and did whatever they can to make our stay more enjoyable - including some Sefad touring tips and maps. The breakfast was beyond delicious! It was clean and really had everything we needed and more!

The property is gorgeous. It is a very relaxing environment with fabulous landscaping and units that are beautifully decorated. Our hosts, Joy and Evan, could not have been nicer and more solicitous. Clearly, their major interest was our comfort and our experience at the magnificent artist quarter guest house. I would highly recommend it.

We had an amazing, magical experience at this incredible historic and truly artistic place. The hostess is beyond wonderful and hospitable and made us a delicious breakfast. We also really enjoyed the garden and the roof views. We would love to come back for more than just one night.

Accueil très chaleureux. Un vrai havre de paix. Un endroit où on se sent bien comme à la maison. Tout est très soigné. Séjour très court qui nous a donné envie de revenir.

Excellent petit déjeuner, mais ce serait bien de pouvoir choisir ce qu'on mange. Une machine expresso et on serait au top

Charming room in a lovely setting with a pretty courtyard and rooftop. Great breakfast amd they were able to accommodate my vegan request. Good recommendations for places to check out in Tzfat.

The place was a little garden in paradise. Beautiful and peaceful!! The hosts were extremely hospitable, nice and welcoming.

A beautiful historic vaulted stone chamber was very evocative of ancient times, our host, Joy, was a delight and her breakfast was wonderful. The location was very convenient to old Sfat and the unusual local hasidic hippies! The courtyard was positively gorgeous.

The bathroom was serviceable but not particularly good showerhead.

It’s a beautiful property, run by the nicest couple. Great location , homemade breakfast . They speak English, which is very helpful.

Wish the size of the single bed was wider .

Lovely guest house in the old city. Very quiet and comfortable. Lovely courtyard and rooftop terrace to use. Room very atmospheric and plenty of space. Friendly hosts and delicious breakfast.

You can't change Tzfat! Access is on foot only so you have to park a short distance away. But if you're coming to Tzfat, you know this..

A wonderful room in the very center of Safed, with all modern amenities, despite the antiquity of the walls, with a very cozy courtyard, where a delicious and varied breakfast was served, prepared by the owners. The hostess Joy is very nice, welcoming, and did everything to make our stay in Safed pleasant, providing us with maps and information about interesting places. Each of our questions was answered exhaustively.

Every aspect of the Artist Quarter Guesthouse was outstanding. The rooms are beautifully restored from centuries ago which give the visitor an authentic Safed experience, yet with all the modern conveniences. Ancient and modern are perfectly blended. The accommodations are spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Joy and Evan are the ultimate hosts. They went out of their way to welcome us, provide us with useful information and recommendations, and to ensure a wonderful stay. In summary, a fantastic experience.

ג'וי המארחת כיוונה אותנו להגעה למתחם בדיוק רב ובשימת לב לפרטים. המקום עצמו מאד נעים ושקט, פינת חמד בעיר, וקרובה לרחובות הראשיים. החדר יפה מאד ופונקציונלי. הייתי באה שוב וממליצה על המקום.

Warm friendly historic B&B close to the artists quarter. Such lovely hosts who welcomed us and made my son and I feel special. The breakfast was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a truly feel good experience in this special city.

This place is like a little piece of Heaven. I went with a friend to celebrate my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. Easy to locate, beautifully (authentic) appointed rooms, and a look out at the top of a spiral staircase in the garden, (toward Har Merron) and stunning garden with a fountain, sooooo peaceful and gorgeous. The hosts Joy and Even could not have been any more helpful or nicer, and the whole trip had such a great vibe. The breakfast is home cooked (Shakshuka on day one, Omelettes on day 2 and shabbat brekkie on shabbat). All super delicious (also with salad, home grown olives, humus and juice and coffee). Quiet (no tv which I liked), easy to get to Jerusalem street for shopping, and close to the important religious sites. The rooms are airy, the bathroom has great hot water, and the kitchen was stocked with everything one would need. Joy & Even are really well set with information about whats going on in Tzfat and where things are etc.

I'm struggling to find a single thing I'd say could have been better. I would recommend 11/10 this stunning place and great hosts, and will most definitely be staying there again myself.

Every single detail is kosher oriented, the entire room and place lives in harmony. Spectacular view and great food.

That the war is driving business into bankrupcy

We had a delightful three-night stay at this listing in Safat. The hosts were exceptional, providing us with detailed and essential information to help us find the location, which is somewhat hidden—so be sure to follow their advice. Staying in this century-old stone house made our experience truly special. The accommodations were spacious and well-equipped with Shabbat facilities. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast each morning. Exploring the area was easy, and I recommend asking the hosts for synagogue recommendations. The room heater functioned exceptionally well, especially since we arrived during the coldest time of the year.

Be aware that if the weather is particularly cold, the hot water supply may be inconsistent, and it may take longer to heat up before your shower.

Everything! The suite was clean, spacious and the building beautiful! The food was amazing and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! The rooftop view was also treat!

Our charming and cozy room (one of two in the B&B), the setting, our hosts (filled with good suggestions about our stay in Sefad), the breakfast … everything. The courtyard is also beautiful; we ate our breakfast outdoors the second day. (Free parking, at a premium in some parts of Sefad, is available very close by). … This was our third stay over several years; we can't wait to return again.

The hospitality is phenomenal!

The BnB is excellently located within close walking distance of the Old City and the main shopping area. Joy and Evan Yisrael serve an absolutely fantastic (and voluminous!) breakfast and were a great resource for local sights and information. The studio is in a building hundreds of years old and has a great historical feel.

Everything was wonderful at the Artist Quarter Guesthouse. The one attribute that stands out is attention to detail. Everything one needs is supplied in the room. It is located in a charming and lovely authentic 18th century courtyard that has been renovated beautifully and in wonderful taste.

Everything was amazing

Exceptional hospitality from Joy and Evan. A cute, picturesque little corner of Safed with the guesthouse offering a quiet escape in beautiful surroundings. Joy and Evan really have the art of quality hospitality down pat, ready to chat, amazing breakfast (actually too much e.g. one of our nights was Friday night when no eateries/restaurants are open and Joy provides a pre-prepared breakfast on Friday for Saturday. There was so much for breakfast we ate our Friday night dinner from the breakfast and still had ample for the following morning). Rooms are air conditioned, have tea and coffee, fridge, hair dryer. If I could give more stars I would.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but I'm being pretty picky.

Main thing was the peaceful setting and charming garden area. Even more helpful was the supportive hosts friendly and welcoming and enthusiastic. Thanks especially to Evan who gave me guidance on what/where to visit.

Absolutely lovely venue, relaxing and serene

Breakfast was served by the host at a table just outside our comfortable room, and it was great! Fresh-baked bread, eggs, etc. Strong Turkish coffee (our preference) was freshly brewed.

Something other than stones for a headboard would have been nice. It was a longish walk, with our luggage, from where we had to park our car (but both Evan and Joy helped!).

Very good location in the Artists Quarter of Safed. Wonderfully sized room with great airco. The roof deck and the courtyard are both gorgeous. The place is truly like a secret garden. Very very attentive and kind hosts.

A real coffee maker/coffee rather than the instant would have been nice.

The Artist Quarter is a gorgeous guesthouse, with the magnificent Tzefat charm. The location is so well placed, quiet and serene yet so close to all synagogues and the center of town. We visited with children. Would definitely go back!! The food is delicious and served so Graciously. The rooftop view is magnificent. A real highlight of our trip!
