Shlomo and his wife were the nicest hosts!! they made sure every last detail was taken care of!! Shlomo even set up our hotplate for shabbos. he made sure everything was perfect! We couldn't have come to a better place!!!!
Impeccable and intentional choices of everything in the property and room. Very clean. Beautiful views. One of the best places ever stayed in Israel. Highly recommend the hosts and the stay. Great value for the price.
Nothing it was perfect! BH
I’ve stayed at many nice places, but the Azamra Inn is in a different category. This is a special place. There are only two rooms and both are very private. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time with the beautiful stone walls and vaulted ceilings. The room has all the modern amenities in a setting befitting the history of the city. The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to the old part of town and many of the historic sites, synagogues and art shops as well as the newer part of town with the restaurants. The most special part of this stay was the owner. He visited with me for about a half an hour when I first arrived. He explained the history of the inn and of his family’s journey to the region. This is definitely not the front desk clerk experience you might be used to no matter how pleasant the clerk was. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely stay here again when I return.
Special people . So warm and nice making sure it's the best for us!
Host was very accommodating to all the needs. Made us feel very comfortable.
Charming and sweet
Liked everything
Our stay at Azamra Inn was absolutely wonderful. Shlomo and his wife were exceptional hosts, always available for any questions and genuinely thoughtful about every little detail. From having milk ready for our coffee to fresh fruit waiting for us, they truly went above and beyond. The place itself was immaculate and beautifully kept. The pictures honestly do not do it justice. It was even better in person. We felt completely comfortable and cared for throughout our stay and would absolutely recommend Azamra Inn to anyone looking for a top notch experience.
Shlomo & his wife go out of the way to please their guest. Nothing was missing from the coffee sugar milk hot water urn... Shabbos table accesories. Bathroom facilities including white terry robes. Clean fresh
Nice and clean. And beautiful, it was very nice, we had a very nice day
Outstanding place to stay. Beautiful room, excellent location. Shlomo and Talia are wonderful hosts.
If I would try to describe our stay in azamra "the time will end but the excitement wouldn't" Starting with the phenomenal hosts shlomo and his wife, special people which you don't find today's days!! The apartment was spotless!!! It smelled super fresh!!! Anything we needed was there ready for us!! And the location was awesome!!!

This place is housed in a beautifully renovated centuries-old stone home in the heart of the old city of Safed. The owners went out of their way to highlight the original charm and character of the historic structure while adding a tasteful modern touch, so you truly get the best of both worlds. It doesn’t feel like an old, musty house with a coat of paint, it feels fresh, bright, and clean, while still letting you soak in the mystical atmosphere that only Tzfas can offer. The space was meticulously clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything from condiments to personal care items. And above all, the hosts, Shlomo and his wife, are rare, special people. Pure Tzfas. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and completely taken care of, while still giving you full privacy. One of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had.
Nothing
Wonderful small hotel
To say this place is special is an understatement. Unique, authentic, one-of-a- kind are some other words that come to mind. Incredible attention to detail in design. The owners are very special and warm loving people. I would give this place seven stars out of five if I could! You will need to traverse stairs down from the street level but that's all part of the intrigue for when you finally open the gate and realize you have arrived inside something a little like a fairy tale. Just bring one suitcase not two or three! I have visited well over 100 Airbnb's all over the world. I've stayed in probably close to a thousand hotels rooms. This place and these hosts are nothing like I have ever encountered.
The property is stunning, like pulled from an issue Architectural Digest. The owners converted a stone home into a stunning courtyard guesthouse with all the modern amenities. It has high ceilings that make it expansive and airy. It’s beautifully decorated, with fresh flowers, warm textiles and small touches that enhance the original stone structure. They really thought of every single detail to make our stay comfortable. The bedding and linens are top quality, perfect for a good night’s rest after a day of sightseeing and there’s plenty of hot water and great pressure in the shower. The suite is equipped with a small kitchenette for eating easy meals. Again, anything you can want or need, they thought of it already. The courtyard is magical, with a centerpiece leafy olive tree that they planted themselves. Large pots with geraniums and other flowers surround a seating area, making for a lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. The upstairs terrace looks onto a breathtaking view of the mountains. This place is magical.
This place is 10 out of 10!!! It is the best place we have ever stayed in. Clean, neat, well-designed, BEAUTIFUL, with many details all thought out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of pillows, Everything is new and in great condition. HOTEL-LEVEL room, right in the middle of the Old City of Tzfat. The bathroom is gorgeous. The lighting is perfect. There is an amazingly beautiful courtyard just outside of the room that you can sit in with tables and chairs. It is a shared area with the other room, but since there are only 2 rooms for guests . .to stay in, the courtyard was usually empty when we were there. A winding staircase leads to a a nice deck, with an incredible view of the surrounding area. Besides all of that, the hosts are amazingly special people: kind, friendly, helpful, available, and a pleasure to be around. For Shabbos there is a plata, clocks, tablecloth, candles, , etc. Everything you need,, even everything for havdalah. Location is great, too, close to everything you need. On the higher side of the Old City , not the middle or lower part. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY HERE IN THIS WONDERFUL PLACE. We will definitely be going back.
NOTHING! THE PEOPLE AND THE PLACE WERE AMAZING!!!!
Shlomo and his wife have created a truly beautiful oasis in the Holy city of Tzfat. The property is beautiful and immaculate, with all one could need for a soul-refreshing stay. It's location is central to the old city of Tzfat, within a short walk to the artist galleries and many local restaurants and shops. My time there was relaxing and deeply restorative.
Our host met us outside to make sure we knew where to park. The courtyard was shaded by a beautiful olive tree and had a spiral staircase to a porch overlooking the glorious mountains of Tzfat. The room was spotless and so tastefully designed, the shower had great pressure and everything smelled so fresh and clean. Breakfast was made with love and organic ingredients. Our host were attentive and warm, we left feeling like family.
No Breakfast. It is a particularly nice place for religious people. Everything you need to make Shabbat is there.
No Breakfast. Parking was a block away, limited parking closer on the street. It was hard to handle our bags on the stairs and cobblestone paths. Price was expensive, considering there was no breakfast included.
. This place is tucked away in the artist quarter and is owned by an awesome couple. The energy is felt from the moment you walk in. It’s peaceful and the decor is very warm and inviting. It had everything we needed and more! I would highly recommend this place. .
Beautiful property. The parking is a little bit of a distance from the property. If Shlomo didn’t help us with her luggage, it would’ve been difficult. The location is excellent Shlomo his wife are wonderful people. I highly recommend this property.
The place looks amazing and designed in the spirit of old Safed. I really enjoyed getting to know the owners of the place, they were super kind and lovely! They have thought of anything you'll need during your vacation. The apartment is close to all the interesting places in Safed. I am so happy that I chose this apartment. I had a spectacular and magical experience, HIGHLY recommended! A truly 10/10 experience!
We had an amazing stay. I would recommend for anyone who wants to be in Safed. Clean, central and great host.
It was a beautiful, unique and cool space. The space was immaculate. The hosts were most accommodating and helpful. The room was stocked with everything we could possibly need, especially for Shabbat observers. The view on the rooftop porch was amazing.
The only issue we had was the room had a musty smell, even though after being inside for awhile it dissipated. The wifi was also spotty, but the host made very effort to improve it.
If I could give a 10 I would. Shlomo and Talia were the most gracious hosts, and the room itself was spectacular. The personal touch seems to be out of reach these days but Azamra is where it reappears. We met another propietor who said Azamra is without a doubt the best place to stay in the city.
The Azamra Inn is located in the old city, on a beautiful property. It is exceptionally kept, well decorated, and very clean! The room had everything we could possibly need for Shabbat and more. The best part of our stay though, were the hosts, Shlomo and Talia. They made us feel so at home and made our stay in Tzfat truly unforgettable. They are very special people, and it was a pleasure to meet and get to know them. I can’t recommend the Azamra Inn enough.

This was the most unique and beautiful lodging my wife and I have ever stayed in. It was peaceful and tranquil. The hosts were warm and very helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay at Azamara Inn! It was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated- both in the rooms, and the courtyard and rooftop outdoors. Everything we needed for Shabbos was provided-hot plate, hot water urn, candlesticks, tablecloths... The hosts went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We are recommending all of our family and friends looking to visit Tzefat to stay at Azamra Inn, and we would definitely stay again! Thank you R Sholmo and Talia for providing us with such a pleasant and uplifting experience!
Shlomo and Talia are wonderful hosts. They are so kind, thoughtful, and eager to make my stay comfortable. Azamra is in a beautiful location. It is a real treat to soak in the ancient and mystical energy of the place. I could get lost just staying in the room and wondering at how it was created. The architecture and beauty of the place is so awe inspiring!
Beautiful room, very well equipped. The owner greeted us and was very spiritual. It was a special stay
it was clean and nice great view the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful
Azamra is an absolutely perfect location for a couple to have the Tzfas experience. The facilities are incredibly clean, the owners are above and beyond nice, probably the most accomodating people I have ever met, with a joy for life and a desire to please! They thought of EVERYTHING, from large to small details...they literally did not miss a beat. The tzimmer wa impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, not to mention quite large and private. I would highly and unequivocally recommend and will be sure to go back!
Nothing was missed!
We had a most memorable and pleasant stay at Azamra Inn!!! The room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The owners are a very special couple who were available to help us with anything we needed. Azamra Inn is like an oasis in the middle of the city. We enjoyed the sun terrace with the breathtaking views. In short - a paradise!!! We hope to be back soon!!!
Azamra Inn in Tzfat is a five star inn because of its holy hosts, Shlomo and Talia. The care and prayer that goes into each guest is evident by everything you experience during your stay. Crisp, clean sheets, immaculate modern quarters, fruit and breakfast foods, thick, clean bath towels, a beautifully appointed courtyard and a literal rooftop experience only a few feet away. Every detail is thoroughly thought out. Shlomo was very willing to work with my husband to make my 60th birthday very special. He even picked up flowers and ordered a private driver to complete our visit. My favorite part of the inn was the conversations with the hosts, Shlomo and his wife. I promise you they are in another spiritual realm. The kindness and care they gave us made our trip to Tzfat one of the most memorable trips ever. Yes, when we go back to Tzfat, we will be at the Azamra Inn with Shlomo and Talia.
The property was amazing. It was decorated beautifully and was immaculately clean! The location was also outstanding, as were the hosts! We cant wait to go back!
The hosts were very gracious and kind. The rim was one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed. Very nicely decorated with lots of small touches and well kept. The neighborhood is densely packed so you do hear families and in the early morning men chanting/singing. During Shabbat it is brighter and noisier with the celebration— and it was something that I was happy to witness.
The host is an extremely warm person and the place is kept in mint condition. There is a private garden with a rooftop that provides a beautiful view. The host though of every detail.
I loved everything about this property! The style and interior design is beautiful and modern, while having the backdrop of a stunning historic space. The outdoor spaces, including the courtyard and rooftop patio, are just beautiful. The hosts are incredibly lovely people and help with whatever you need.
gorgeous design. modern furnishings in a beautifully restored old building. Very high taste level. Warm helpful owners, Shlomo and Talia who welcomed us and even helped out with our laundry. We loved the beautiful courtyard and the comfortable upper terrace for sunset views and evening relaxation.
There was not any housekeeping services.
I cannot say enough about the physical and spiritual beauty of the Azamra Inn. The proprietors are holy people who care about their guests in a phenomenal way.
The owner and his wife. Did everything to make sure that we are happy. They are the most special peaple. Just to see the owner reb shlomos smile again. I would come back.
Everything was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!
Amazing peaceful. Host very helpful.
This place is lovely! The patio is very magical, with cosy sitting places. The room is shine and clean, with lots of accessories, to the details. The hosts are very kind and pleasant. This place is actually prettier in reality than in photos!
The room was very beautifully appointed, spacious, immaculate and easy to access. The most amazing, warm, kind hosts who helped make our entire experience thoroughly enjoyable. We can't wait to go back.
loved everything location, ambiance, most friendly and holy hosts
The weekend exceeded our expectations in all areas. The host's put alot of effort in making sure we had all that one needs. The amenities were top of the line. I definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a clean, friendly and an uplifting stay.
This property is questessentially charming, meticulously maintained and a design gurus dream. No detail was overlooked. The owner is exceptionally hospitable and readily available. Even nicer in person. We recommend this Inn with the highest endorsement.
Great host. Fantastic accommodation. Location was good and close to Jerusalem Street and Artist Colony. Highly recommend this property.
Absolutely stunning small Inn. From the stone wall covered bedroom to the charming courtyard surrounding the rooms, to the modern, elegant decoration of the bedroom. Also Shlomo and Talia were very friendly and helpfull. Definitely recommend this Inn
Azamra capture’s local spirit very well, nicely renovated and decorated, and the owner is a very nice person too. Warm and welcoming. We highly recommend this place!
Azamra Inn is the most beautiful, little, enchanting place I have ever been. The minute you walk through the gate, you are just enveloped with positive energy and a feeling of serenity and peace. The stillness in the air feels invigorating and the minute you meet Shlomo you will feel like this is your home. He is the most welcoming, soft spoken, gifted man I have ever met. Meeting him is a true gift and his spiritual enlightenment will feed your soul. He and Talia take so much pride in their inn and your stay will be unforgettable.
Azamra Inn is one of the loveliest places where my wife and I ever staid. Our room is part of an ancient building. It is newly renovated and has all modern features you need and want as a guest including coffee, tea, milk etc. It is tastefully furnished and very clean. The owners put a lot of thought into it. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Every place of interest is in walking distance. We used Safed as base for upper Galilee and Golan. It is a very nice retreat.
