Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Linda was een fantastische gastvrouw, bij aankomst hadden we een kleinere kamer met 2 bedden zonder uitzicht geboekt, maar daar we meerdere nachten zouden blijven, kregen we een upgrade met een dubbelbed en uitzicht op Benbulben. Alles super netjes, zalig bed. Heel wat ontbijtmogelijkheden, in een aangename omgeving. Parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Levendige ambiance, heel veel tips gekregen voor activiteiten in de buurt (en dat zijn er heel veel), Linda zorgde ook voor de brochures, wandelkaarten en het weerbericht...
Op de badkamer was er weinig licht, maar echt storen heeft het niet gedaan...

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026La casa era preciosa, con un jardín exterior muy cuidado con un un entorno que era una maravilla. Las habitaciones cómodas y confortables. La dueña fue muy amable. Le gustó mucho a nuestro grupo de 10. El desayuno variado y casero.
La dueña nos informó de un problema en una de las habitaciones triples y nos ofreció como alternativa una doble con cama supletoria pero no fue un problema para nosotros. En nuestro baño que era adaptado a personas con movilidad reducida no había tapa en el WC y las persianas de la habitación que eran de madera tenían un pelín de polvo pero quitando ese mínimo detalle todo estaba muy limpio.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Absolutely gorgeous setting with amazing views. Everything was comfortable and clean my room was beautiful. Linda welcomed me with a much needed ice cold bottle of water, incredibly thoughtful. Lissadell Lodge has become a firm favourite for somewhere to stay in Ireland!

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Linda was the perfect hostess, very welcoming, chatty, and ensuring all was as it should be for our stay. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well appointed. The breakfast choices were numerous, covered all options, and the coffee was just lovely. We ate at Davis's, , approx 7/8 mins down the road, for our evening meal and can highly recommend there too.
Cannot think of anything to dislike....apart from the weather !

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026The Lady Hostess was a very friendly lady, very helpful and had great knowledge of the area. Which was very helpful to us. As we had never been to Sligo before. Room was spotless. And our breakfast was lovely. We both enjoyed our stay and would reture again in the future.
There was nothing that we could find fault with and would recommend to others.

Das Zimmer war hell, freundlich, top sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gab ein sehr leckeres frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Wir empfehlen diese Lodge uneingeschränkt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

She has a beautiful home set in lush countryside which is also very close to the main road which easily connects to everything in the surrounding area.The room was comfortable, quite and spotless. The breakfast was absolutely first class and would put many a hotel to shame.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und sehr gut. Im Zimmer war alles vorhanden was man braucht und das Bett war sehr bequem. Ich habe wunderbar geschlafen. Das Bad war sehr schön und sauber mit Duschgel, Schampon und Conditioner luxusmäßig ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist eine freundliche, aufgeschlossene und herzliche Dame, die sich sehr um mein Wohlergehen bemüht hat. Ich habe von ihr auch viele Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Wanderwege erhalten. Das Haus liegt zwar etwas entlegen, aber nachdem ich die Ruhe schätze, würde ich es wieder buchen.

Reviewed May 22, 2026Die lodge liegt irgendwo im Grünen mit Bergblick auf Ben Bulben. Super ruhig und toll. Empfang war sehr herzlich. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Badezimmer eher klein, aber sauber. Bett war bequem. Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Frühstück war sehr lecker mit verschiedener, frischer Auswahl. Wir würden wiederkommen bei einem erneuten Irland Besuch 😊

The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the countryside. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though we arrived late, she kindly waited for us until 10 PM and made us feel at home immediately. In the morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast for us with great care and attention. We truly appreciated her hospitality and warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and cozy stay in Ireland!
