We absolutely loved our stay! We were welcomed by two little donkeys at the front of the cottage. We loved the bar by the wood burning stove , it's a magical place to stay.

The cottage was better than expected verry spacious and comfortable. The donkeys were friendly and loved by everyone

If there was a shop a bit nearer it would have been perfect

The cottage is really nice and well able to fit 10 people with no trouble. Would definitely recommend this place.

The house is so lovely. Rooms are big comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bar in the front room is such a wonderful quirky idea. There is everything you might need supplied in the kitchen. We can’t wait to book it again.

Nothing! It’s perfect!!

This was the best stay we have had in a long time. The property was so clean and welcoming. The host was lovely and so accommodating. We loved the little bar area and sat up half the night chatting and laughing. Great time away to make memories with the family. The cottage was also perfectly located to lots of little bars and restaurants, we had a lovely dinner in town on night one! The donkeys really sealed the deal! Two beautiful girls and so friendly. Can't wait to get back!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

This is an absolutely beautiful cottage. It is so well organised such a wonderful space to be in for both fun and relaxing. The space both indoors and out was fantastic. Every possibility was thought of from cotton buds, dishwasher tablets, charging cables to some milk. Polly and Pixie are amazing and definitely made the stay for all of us. Margaret was a very helpful host who responded quickly with any question, the details given before our arrival was perfect.

Very clean cottage , we loved the whole place , especially Polly and Pixie , any questions needing answers the owner was only a text away or a phone call away to help us , would recommend to anyone that wants to stay in the heart of ireland out in the country, we will definitely be back

What we didn't like is that we didn't book for longer

We had an amazing stay at Stone Cottage. The house was spotless and Margaret has thought of everything in the house, including a lovely welcome basket! The house is really spacious and comfortable. Lots of outdoor areas too. The kids loved feeding Pixie and Polly, the donkeys. Margaret was a pleasure to deal with and hopefully we can come back to stay again

Everything exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We spent a lot of time outside, there is a great BBQ provided. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen is big and fully stocked. The pub in the house is a quirky addition and really makes the stay feel more special. The communication before and during the stay was perfect.

Property had everything you needed for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely decor and picturesque.

I had a lovely weekend was pleasantly surprised with our basket of goodies. I would really recommend this house for its comfort and relaxing time.

The place was in nature and quiet with enough places to walk. The house had enough room for what we wanted.

No place to put the food. All the kitchen cupboards were filled with plates, cups and glasses and no place to put the groceries.

Lovely clean cosy and quite house with everything you need already at the property the host was lovely and check in was really easy

Really well kitted out- had everything we needed and standard of finish and furnishing is excellent. 4 very good sized bedrooms so plenty of room for all the family. Loved that it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. And the bar was a real bonus. Communication from hosts was excellent.

Eating area is a little tight- but I’d imagine that’s not an issue during the summer as there are plenty of outdoor areas to eat outdoors.

Hidden gem! Spent Christmas here with my husband, 4 kids, mum & sister and has the loveliest time. The house is immaculate and the hosts were so helpful. There's so much space and the bar is an added bonus. Very safe for kids too to walk out and see the donkeys and walk around the house. Very rural area, really enjoyed the peace. Will definitely be back!

Nothing to dislike

Perfect hide-out space for a few days - An Ideal Farmhouse with all facilities - The top attraction was the bar counter 😃 We could not even believe all these facilities inside this tiny house (outside look). The heating was on at the time we arrived at the stay and it was super helpful. We even enjoyed the chocolate box, a welcome gift. Pixie and Polly added more fun to the stay.

The property was just lovely. Beautiful stone cottage with modern extension in a gorgeous part of Tipperary. It was clean and comfortable. We also arrived early and Margaret was so accommodating despite her still cleaning the cottage after the previous stay.

Breakfast was not included But all the Facilities were on site to cook for our selves

Few too many Flys

This home was absolutely spectacular. We rented it for a group of 6, as we were attending a wedding nearby. We almost skipped the wedding because we didn’t want to leave! A peaceful haven off the main roads, and really in the heart of the Tipperary countryside. We could have spent the day outside on the covered patio. There were even cows over the ditch! The building itself appears newly renovated, but oozing with the traditional build and the extension is nothing short of a journey! Natural light flowing all day. I’d imagine a super place for a group of 8-10 people for a quiet getaway or small, family/friends celebration. We are deciding our excuse to return! Margaret was super to deal with, besides not meeting her, we felt very much welcomed and at home! Thanks a million!

Stone Cottage is in a lovely quiet area and an ideal location for our group of 7. The house had everything we needed, a lovely big kitchen, two indoor seating areas and we also had a few outdoor areas for sitting out in which was lovely as the weather was perfect. The house itself was immaculate. Extremely tidy, fresh clean bedding and lovely soft fluffy towels. You can tell the hosts had put a lot of thought into little touches throughout, we especially enjoyed the gift basket and ice in the freezer! The rooms are a great size and perfect with two of them being en suite. There was also another larger bathroom off the kitchen. The hosts were very responsive and friendly when I contacted them at any point. All in all we had a fab time and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for everything.

The property is quite charming and feels like a quintessential Irish cottage. The house had more that what we needed, where every bedroom had a bath, the kitchen was well equipped, and the washer and dryer were a much needed amenity after traveling for over a week. There were two white donkeys in a fenced in areas on the property which were a lovely addition and made the location feel more special.

The bedding could have been a bit higher quality. After long days of travel a super-comfortable bed always feels great. The dining room had two couches for seating around the table. Chairs would be been easier to navigate and maybe more comfortable.

The property and its owner are outstanding. During an overnight stay with family and friends we couldn't have been happier! The bar is located in the original cottage, where we sat around till the wee hours chatting & having the craic in front of the log fire. The Guinness was incredible, we had arranged a keg which the host kindly set up ahead of our stay. Loved the floorplan, which allowed children to sleep undisturbed by our laughter. Travel cot, high chair and stair gate made our stay so much easier. The attention to detail is second to none, with everything being taken into consideration. We had our morning coffee outdoors in the newly built gazebo while the children ran around. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside, so peaceful and relaxing. Cannot wait to return!

I didn't meet Margaret this time, as another of our party got there before me, but I know, from staying here that Margaret must be a perfectionist. The house was perfectly clean, cosy and comfortable. Will be back without a doubt.
