Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, Haken für Kleider waren toll, bequemes Bett., große Gemeinschaftsräume. Kurzer Weg in die Teefelder.

Dass der Abfluss nicht direkt bei der Dusche war, war etwas ungeschickt, aber nicht gravierend.

Strávili jsme jednu noc v příjemném pokoji. K dispozici je společná místnost a prostorná terasa. Personál byl milý. Možnost objednání večeře. Snídaně byla vynikající.

Trochu temnější pokoj, ale ničemu nevadilo.

Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt dat we kregen was lekker. Op het terras heb je een mooi uitzicht over de streek. Het is dichtbij het station, wat voor ons een pluspunt is! Rustige buurt. Prijs kwaliteit is dit in goed.

De kamer voelt wat vochtig aan. Dit is mogelijks te weiten aan de regenval die de dagen ervoor viel.

De eigenaren zijn super aardig, willen alles voor je doen, meedenken. Alles om je het beste verblijf te geven. In het dorpje zelf zit niet zoveel qua restaurantjes, de gastvrouw kan heerlijk koken. Boden ook biertjes aan. Hebben 2 dagen met de tuktuk driver van b rose activiteiten gedaan.

Het is wat gedateerd maar wel schoon. De warme douche was erg prettig gezien wij veel regen hadden.

L'hôte est super sympa, sa femme cuisine très bien et il nous a arranger le transport avec un super conducteur ! Le lit est confortable et tout est propre ! Je recommande !

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem ist das Zentrum gut erreichbar.

Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Einstieg der Pekoe Trail Stage 7 entfernt. Die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich sauber, das Essen frisch und richtig lecker. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herzliche Gastfreundschaft – ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt.

This was a special place near Hatton. We were hiking the Pekoe trail and our stay was very lovely. Great hosting couple and good food. Our room was great and loved the deck overlooking the town. Offered tea on our arrival and organised a tuk tuk for our next day to the trail. thank you!

I was more than satisfied with my stay. It’s important to understand that this accommodation is a kind of homestay, so the room is kept quite simple. However, it has everything you need and is very clean. The greatest advantage of this place is undoubtedly the host family. Not only do they prepare excellent breakfast and dinner, but they are also incredibly helpful in every other aspect. They organize excursions, arrange tuk-tuks, and truly go out of their way to fulfill every wish.

Great accommodation and friendly hosts. We arrived 2 hours early, but this was not a problem. The accommodation was very neat and the shared area is spacious. Ideal laundry service for a low price. Dinner was delicious and more than enough.

The included breakfast portion could be slightly larger than the served toast with egg and some fruit.

Very welcoming hosts, organised a great Tuk Tuk driver to take us to Adam’s Peak in the middle of the night & then explore Laxapana Waterfalls on the way home. Shower was warm & good pressure - best in Sri Lanka so far! Bed comfortable & mosquito nets available, quiet room. Communal balcony with lovely views ☺️

Location was great. Owners were lovely and helped us loads with times for busses and train, they had a friend whom did a good deal on the tuk tuk and took us rafting and a bit of sight seeing, lovely man. Breakfast was great and they even did our washing. Thank you for welcoming us to your home xx

Dark at night with no street lights but only 5 mins from train station.

There are 4 very clean, large and comfortable rooms. The rooms have everything we needed. There is a terrace with amazing views of the mountains and a very spacious living room area where we can sit, read and relax. The owners/hosts are so friendly and kind, attending to all our needs. We had dinner ordered, made by the host family. It was absolutely delicious home cooked meal. The breakfast was excellent too with strong coffee. And the WiFi was the best so far in Sri Lanka. It’s close to everything. Such a gem if you are on a budget or not.

Without doubt the best accommodation we stayed in Sri Lanka! This place is absolutely immaculate. Everything and everywhere is spotlessly clean and maintained to very high standard. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and the shower was beautiful and warm. There is a lovely lounge room and outdoor area to share with the other guest (4 rooms in total). The owners are very friendly and even made us breakfast at 6:15 so we could catch an early train. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the train station so you don’t need transport.

Stop #5 during our 15-day road trip through Sri Lanka, driving our own tuktuk. B.Rose House is a small family-owned accommodation with just a few rooms. Our tuktuk, we could park safely inside the gate. For us, it was perfect for a one-night stay on 22 March, right before catching the train to Ella. The place is only a few minutes away from the railway station, which was ideal because of the early (scheduled) leaving of the scenic train. Despite the early rise, the owners made sure to have breakfast available, which was highly appreciated with the long train ride ahead.

The couple was super nice and the tea they served was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed the shared balcony area.

We had a wonderful stay at B.Rose House! The room was nice, large and spotless with a cozy bed. The owners are super nice and welcoming, breakfast was also very tasty! Definitely recommend to stay here!

The house is close to the train tracks so you can hear the train passing, that might bother someone, but we were fine with it.

In spite of the cheap prices very, very hospitable and attentive hosts. They helped us with trying to book train tickets spontaneously, let us check in earlier and cooked us lunch after a long trip. Thanks a lot for everything!

Room is a bit dark

Everything. The host are supernice and helpful. Breakfast was ok. The view is wonderful. Room and common areas are vwry very clean and comfy. Our best stay in SriLanka by far.

Very clean and comfortable bed, hot water working fine

We followed the advice of the host to take a tuk tuk (of his friend) to the adam’s peak, who kept saying there was traffic and so the price was high. We didnt find a single car on the road, and travel time was longer than by bus. We felt a bit scammed, but still it was our choice to accept, not forced

We only stayed here for a day before climbing the Adams peak. The owners were sweet and since we didnt plan anything for Hatton they made some nice suggestions for a day trip, visiting Devon and St clairs falls and organised a tuk tuk, that also took us to Delhousie at the middle of the night. Since we werent there for breakfast, they made us sandwiches for the way and allowed us to leave our luggage until we returned. The common area is nice as well.

The mosquito net of the Double bed was too small to fit over the entire bed.

We stayed there for just one night, but we had a really good sleep, because it's really quiet at night. The bed was also comfortable. Good warm shower!!. We also could park our Tuktuk.

Hatton is an odd place

I rarely write reviews but this place was really lovely. Very convenient if you’re planning on doing Adam’s Peak. The host family is so helpful and the meals available are delicious.

Amazing food served at a really reasonable price. Facilities were some of the cleanest we've experienced in Sri Lanka so far. Owner and his wife were very hospitable and helpful and packed us sandwiches for our trip up to Adam's Peak. Overall, absolutely loved our stay!

"Hot" shower didn't seem to work well. Also, we thought it may be better to leave at 12am for the Adam's Peak hike, however at suggestion of the owner left at 1am. Due to crowds it probably would have been better to leave earlier as it may have been a smoother journey up to the top.

Very nice owner, helped us with the journey to Adam's Peak and got us an amazing driver who not only took us there at night, slept at the foot of the mountain while waiting for us but also showed us great places on the way back. The accommodation was very clean, delicious dinner and breakfast. We were very happy.

Spotlessly clean, the owners clearly take a great pride in their guesthouse. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. We left a purse in the room which they kept safe for us until we returned there to collect it. Although it was at the top of our (meagre) budget, I have no reservation in giving them a 10 rating.

they are nice people. Hot water. Tuk tuk to Adam's peak was very expensive -understandable since it's over 1 hour! . I came up with the idea to book a motorbike (very good option! cheaper and more fun) . They helped me to arrange it.

The breakfast was pretty bad... I don't understand the previous reviews saying that the food was good. I am really sorry, but breakfast is bad. The day I went to Adam's peak, they prepare me sandwiches with peaces of butter and jam. Next day, at the house, I had very oily rotti with the same jam and butter. It was bad and I didn't eat it. Dinner was ok. Location also very disappointing. Is very far from Adam's peak - over 1 hour. The town is not nice, and it did not seem safe to me. A kid showed up in from of my room in the morning and shouted me "F*you foreigner". I didn't like that. They charged me for the welcoming tea.... it was very cheap, but I have been 6 weeks in Sri Lanka in guests houses, and is the first time I got charge for the welcoming tea... Room is ok.

Beautiful space and great location. Very clean. You also have a balcony and living room shared with the 2-3 other guest rooms. The family is extremely nice.

The hosts are very helpful in offering you help to book things and if you want dinner/breakfast/tea, but it was a tad pushy. I would’ve loved a bit more time to decompress upon arriving.

Kind people and good food

Lovely family, cosy room, clean and nice balcony with great view. Home made food was delicious. 10min walk from the train station. They also organised me a good tuktuk driver for Adam's peak for a very reasonable price. Can strongly recommend this accomodation.

The mattress was comfortable in general, but a bit thin, we could feel the wooden boards below.

It was an amazing stay. Family was very nice. They even made us sandwiches instead of breakfast, due to early train. Besides our room, we also had the whole floor for ourselves (couches, terrace). Very clean. Hot water works.

The Owners was so kind and helpful. We ate there delicious dinner and spend great time. The owner’s daughter did amazing henna tattoo’s for me and my friend. Close to Railway Station
