Recommended a fantastic pub just down the road called the Springhill....I think. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious..... thank you Catherine
The building and facilities are in need of some attention but that's understandable considering it's age. Enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026We were greeted with a friendly smile and welcomed in true Irish fashion. This was a stop on our way back to Rosslare and suited us well. Breakfast was good and just what we needed to get us on our way in the morning. Unfortunately, the toilet had water pressure issues, which no doubt would have been sorted after we left, after letting our host know about it. Luckily, we used the room next doors as no one was in there. So, no issues.

La trop grande proximité de la route et surtout des lumières allumées toute la nuit dehors avec des rideaux pas vraiment opaques.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026The hospitality was outstanding! The hostess even offered to take us and pick us up from the hotel down the road after having dinner there. The breakfast was AMAZING with a great variety of food. Everything was so fresh!! The beds were comfortable and slept great with the country fresh air! I highly recommend this place even if you have to drive a little out of the way. I highly recommend this B&B!

La struttura è un po’ datata. Sicuramente da rivedere le camere e i bagni. Non era proprio pulitissima.

Mattress comfortable but bed creaked every time we moved in bed which kept us awake. Cobwebs on ceiling and window sills were dirty. Hostess was very helpful. Breakfast was ok but bread was stale and eggs hard.

Bathrooms needed updating, shower was old, The bedlinen could also do with a refresh. Although the linen was very clean there where a few marks which indicated time for some new covers. The road was quite noisy from the bedroom. Tv was very small.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2024My sister and I really enjoyed our stay! It was a last minute booking because we couldn't find anything in Cork, but it couldn't have worked out better. We were so well received, had lovely cups of tea and biscuits when we arrived, a perfect breakfast and the hosts were so friendly and helpful telling us about the history, recommending an old abbey nearby and they gave us some great advice about some sites along our journey that we would have never known about. It helped make our trip in Ireland so special!

Reviewed May 4, 2024Catherine, the host, was very friendly and helpful. We arrived in the rain on our motorcycles and she greeted us with a nice cup of tea and some scones. A very welcome feeling. Rooms were sufficient, certainly considering the price. Everything worked accordingly and we had a toilet and shower in our room no. 1. Catherine even gave us a lift to and from a nearby hotel/restaurant to have diner.lovely fresh cooked breakfast.

Reviewed Feb 7, 2024Well if i said at 1 initial point I had to think; was I visiting with family. Because that how it felt and good family at that ! Tea and scones on arrival then was invited to join them with their visitors and more tea and Toasted sandwiches. And before I left the following morning the offer of tea again. Nothing is too much for the Lady of the Tower.
Was happy with everything - ONLY that I had to leave - for my next destination.
