Country based but with good road access plenty of parking period building with period features food good staff great
Bathrooms dated narrow baths with showers above. No lift
The staff is the only asset of this Hotel. I wish I could say more, the use of the hotel for a Bingo Loco event the night before my wife was playing an All Ireland Junior Final was not good. Police were called, even though we were in a quiet end of the hotel the noise was incredible. I heard some of our party got discounts for the hassle. We did not. I guess thats due to me not kicking up a fuss. As a couple who travel to Cork a lot for GAA we would not revisit unless we had garuantees there were no weddings or other such events.
As above
It had an old world charm and a very easy going, relaxed atmosphere! The staff were very pleasant and there was no stress involved in having my dog with me.
Nothing really. I think there should be a bin outdoors so pet owners can deposit their pets’ deposits
zeer vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt, goed restaurant
Like a old people's home strange dining facilities breakfast was just about edible
Needs complete over haul
So cute but felt grand!
Nothing loves it!!
Large room ,with very comfortable bed
How beautiful the house is and it surroundings.

Great location, perfect for where I was working. the building was very cool and staff were very friendly and helpful
The bed was very lumpy, the bathroom was in need of updating and maintenance. Shower was very poor and toilet didn't flush well at all :(
Very comfortable. Good breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food excellent. Rooms also excellent
Can’t find anything wrong really
Have stayed on a few occassion's previously. I use it because it is a good location for where I am visiting. The staff are always very welcoming and the food is good quality. The rooms are always clean and well presented.
The towels are on the small side and a little hard.
Lovely grounds and ideal location for a wedding.
2 single beds for couple. Room was very warm and couldn't open window fully.
very quiet nice location Big room very clean had everything you’d need
nothing
Rooms quite dated.
Location, original historic building, staff, grounds, facilities...
Accommodation in large extension about 40 years old tired in decor and many details needing attention such as poor repairs, bathroom bin rusty, bath and basin plug chains both broken, bedroom curtains difficult to slide and impossible to close fully, kettle poorly located and difficult to use...
Lovely hotel with old house character and helpful staff.
Good sized, comfortable room Friendly staff Lovely location with lots of parking
Overpriced Rooms dated - bathrooms need attention Breakfast is by order only - limited offering
We had dinner there, and the food was lovely. Breakfast the following morning was quick fresh and hot. The staff were very friendly and polite. The room was clean, and the public areas also appeared to be clean. The garden, which only seemed to be at the front of the property, was also clean and well looked after. Plenty of parking, and there were 3 disability parking places just to the side of the hotel.
It's an old building, but there are clear signs of wear and tear. The toilet roll holder fell off the wall when I went to get some tissue. The lid of the cistern rattles when you flush the toilet. We were given a ground floor room that felt like going to a basement as you had to go downstairs from reception – although the room was clean, it could do with some sheer curtains with the heavy ones for privacy, as people could walk by the window and look straight in which made changing a little awkward. A safety lock on the window would also be handy, as we were experiencing extremely hot weather, but because we were on the ground level, we could not leave the window open for security reasons.
Overall it was a lovely location with old world charm and with excellent staff. I had both Dinner and Breakfast both of which were very good. Will definitely come back.
Rooms were dated but I guess that's part of the charm

Excellant friendly staff .. beautiful rooms
The Setting, The Log Cabins, the surroundings. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. TV channels.
Room 11, alot of noise from corridor, sheets had make up or fake tan on them. Carpet needed a hoover.
Beautiful country style hotel. Staff very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Newly decorated. Would definitely return.
Jedno z nejlepších ubytování na našich cestách. Není co vytknout, vše dokonalé. Velké pokoje s pohodlnou postelí, úchvatné okolí, skvělá snídaně a vždy usměvavý personál. Děkujeme!
Das Personal war super freundlich, Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten Probleme bei der Toilettenspülung, die aber direkt behoben wurden, super Service.
Very quiet
Nice staff
Basic hotel in need of an upgrade
The little garden at the front was lovely. There were plenty on chairs and tables for everyone and large tree where we moved our table to sit under to hide from the sun. The food and drinks were lovely. The workers very friendly. They checked on us every few minutes to see if we wanted anything else. I loved that no place was out of bounds for my dog. Very pet friendly hotel! We felt very comfortable and very welcomed and it's the best pet friendly hotel I've stayed in! Very large parking area, no issues finding a spot at all. Lovely sitting area at the reception, comfortable sofas and a lovely bar right next to it.
When we arrived, the coffee cups in the room were clearly dirty so I needed to ask for clean ones, and the next morning after the room was serviced, the coffee cups were replaced but they were dirty again, so I had to ask for new ones again and we weren't given new bottles of water for the room. I didn't like the shower, the shower head was attached to the wall with no way to move it and a small glass shield at the side,so the water went all over the floor. There is no air conditioning in the room so with the heat wave, even though we were able to open the windows all the way, it was still exceptionally warm, so every 40mins we kept going downstairs and asking for a bucket of ice so we could keep somewhat cool and I kept using them for the dogs water bowl too.
Good food and friendly staf
Location good for our tour. Bar food good.
Bedroom and bathroom tired. Breakfast coffee tasted salty as if something hadn’t been rinsed correctly.
Ok
Nothing really
We arrived early not expecting to be able to check in, but there was no problem. The lady on the reception desk could not have been more friendly, accommodating or helpful. The breakfast was busy, but again the staff were so efficient and friendly and the food was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable and as it overlooked a field at the back, was super quiet even though a wedding was in full swing.
The room was ideal, the food was excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Quick and efficient.
Beautiful location, friendly staff. Lovely hotel.
The bed was very springy, Prefer a harder mattress. Nevertheless great sleep.
Very comfortable. Great food and lovely atmosphere
Charged extra for one of the two rooms I booked with Booking.com as they could only find the booking for one room (even though I showed them the email I had received confirming the booking for two rooms)

Good choices for breakfast. The Staff were lovely.
Window would not open in our bedroom.
Lovely rooms and building and the staff were very friendly
Nothing really only it was a bank holiday weekend so very busy with small parties and hard to get a seat in the bar area
Good location.
No lift between levels. Rooms are somewhat dated. Shower didn’t work.
The staff are friendly
I had booked a room with a ensuite/ private bathroom but was given a room with a shared bathroom which wasn't ideal.
All good
Dinner area in the bar could be revamped a bit!! Needs a freshen up.
Tout!
The hotel wax beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely and beds very comfortable.
Shower did not really work Location a bit isolated.
The staff were so lovely . Couldn’t be more helpful . Food v good , dinner and breakfast .
The room was lovely and spacious and clean
Does need some work internally
I felt at home. It was a beautiful quiet, location. The hotel itself was a country house style of hotel and with it a relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. I cannot wait until I have another opportunity to return. Well done to all the staff. You enhanced my mammy escape! God bless you. 🙏
I liked everything about this Hotel.
Beautiful setting.
all good
Staff were amazing they were all so helpful. The food in the restaurant was superb.
The only thing i didn't like was the rashers were a bit overcooked for the breakfast
Breakfast
Location
It’s a pity they didn’t use the fine grounds around the hotel
Staff were very friendly, the room was big. The breakfast was very nice.
Mattress and pillows were quite thin, very little pressure from the shower, plug sockets are very scarce in the room.
The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everyone had a great time.

Food in restaurant was lovely and would recommend this.
I stayed for three nights. The room was not a 4 star hotel room, but was quaint enough. Another person unlocked and began to enter my room am at 23.45 at night via a key. I had the door locked from the inside and they had a key to unlock the door while I was there. This raised a serious security issue for me both in terms of personal safety and for my belongings when I was not in the room. There was no phone in the room to alert the porter or reception, which increased the security deficit and my safety concerns. i needed to barricade the door with furniture and my case to offer some level of safety. When reported, I was informed by the manager they didn't know how this happened, its obvious the keys open multiple rooms or the person was given the key - either way it is unacceptable. The noise on the corridor i was staying was excessive, the banging only ceased at 01.30 am and resumed again at 06.00, I was informed the corridor had working people staying so they should have been in bed early - really. I was moved room the next day, however based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to any person travelling alone.
Good Breakfast
NA
Quiet and easy to park. Food in bar was ok.
In need of modernisation, no windows (there were 2 windows with limited opening into a brick wall, about 6-10” away. Beds were supposed to be double,, but really were just large singles
Beautiful location and fabulous building. Exceptional hotel!!
