B&B Alegría

Very nice room, clean and spacious. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. With the free bikes they gave us we were able to explore the town without our car. We would definitely stay there again...

Super Lage in Mechelen.

We loved everything about this property. The owner, Veerle, is the warmest and most welcoming host we could have wished for. Her home is beautiful and the service is beyond exceptional. We were able to use the washing machine and dryer, the back terrace and garden, and the front room for preparing our food. There are games for children. Everything was supplied and everything was clean and stylish. The location is perfect - a short walk from central Mechelen but quiet and leafy. We would come back again. Highly recommended.

Nothing.

Mooie kamer en lekker ontbijt.

The apartment is really nice and clean, the neighborhood is really calm and you get easy by walk to the city center. The owner was really nice and didn’t hesitate in helping.

We had such a lovely stay at B&B Alegria! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome, it truly felt warm, personal, and almost like staying with family. Everything in the house is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail, creating a very cozy yet stylish atmosphere. You can tell a lot of care and love has gone into every corner of the place. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated , the bed was super comfy, and it was the perfect place to relax after a long day. The whole property has a very calm and peaceful vibe, which we really appreciated. The host was also very helpful, giving us great tips and recommendations for things to do and places to visit. We would 100% recommend B&B Alegria.

Very cozy room and such a friendly and welcoming host :) Definitely recommend!!

Alles gut

niets

Heel vriendelijke mensen, lekker ontbijtje. Zekers een aanrader. 😁

Helpful owner and good breakfast

Super!

Eigenlijk niets

Gastvriendelijkheid, zeer verzorgde kamer met leuke extra's, goed ontbijt met ruime keuze.

De infrarood cabine

Ospitalità ottima, simpatia in tutti, ottima colazione e struttura confortevole.

Friendly and very helpful reception by the owner. Delicious breakfast. Very comfortable room

Veerle was such a wonderful and friendly host. Communication was excellent and she made sure we were very comfortable. Location was also very good - parking was available and we were just 10min away by foot from the center. The house and our rooms were cozy. We enjoyed the sun at the garden. The jacuzzi was an excellent bonus.

Location, host and very clean neat place.

Basically everything was but the extra services I found a bit overpriced. But hey, you don’t need to take them. The bathroom not fully separated but wasn’t a big issue the end.

Veerle was very accommodating, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed into the room early because we had come straight from the ferry, which was very welcomed as we were tired. There was good, easy parking outside the house on the drive. The room was clean, well equipped and well maintained . The shower was fabulous! Breakfast was freshly prepared and extensive with fruit, yogurt, meats, cheeses, salads, breads, cakes and freshly cooked eggs and bacon all beautifully presented. The location was perfect as it was far enough outside of the centre not to be disturbed by the noise (we were there during Maanrock), but still in easy walking distance. The air conditioning was welcomed!

We couldn't stay longer.

Really kind manager of the property. AC worked well.

The room is really really small. We were expecting a bigger flat according to the pictures. We had to share the apartment with other people and it wasn't clear on the description. No kitchen available. The biggest problem was that The toilet and the shower were inside the room without any door or wall to separate the toilet area from the bed. No intimacy at all, and we were 3 of us. Every item was expensive, starting from the parking to the coffee. We had to pay 8.5 euros per night just because we parked the car in front of the house. We wouldn't have to pay If we were parking literally 4 meters away. Sauna was not included and the property owner was asking 35 euros for every half hour. Breakfast was 20 euros, which is pretty expensive if you consider that a standard NH hotel is asking between 14 and 17euros for the limitless intercontinental breakfast. In general, we had to pay a lot for the room and we were paying for everything else.

The hostess is amazing. She's helpful and always in a good mood. She is willing to accommodate her guests in any way she can. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. The location is perfect, a very short distance from city center but it is very quiet at night.

We stayed in the Wellness Oase and enjoyed it very much! Lovely place, nice location, perfect host, ... we liked everything. Was even better than it looked online.

Everything was great > Keep going.

We loved the host. Veerle made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great.

Nothing

Good location, peaceful .The host was extremely kind and thoughtful.Took advantage of the back garden, very relaxing Thank you

Excellent place and excellent host. She is very accommodating! Tried two different rooms and one with an incredibly comfy bed with blackout mechanical shutters. The Wellness room is one to try as well! We only tried that room out for one night and would have loved to stay longer.

It was more of our own fault as guests reading the description and our lifestyle. I didn't think about not having a stove to utilize (a cooked breakfast by the host is available) my partner and I just love to cook.

Awesome stay. So friendly and accommodating, amazing facilities, comfy, cosy and cool during a hot summer. Good parking, lovely room, amazing breakfast, honour bar on offer. Would def recommend.

Faultless...awesome stay.

very friendly host nice room in a neighborhood area proximity to the city center

Perfect location, good facilities, clean couldn't fault anything would recommend.

Hospitality. We have not been welcomed in Europe like this until now. Ms.Veerle was very kind and understanding. My kids loved the place and its just because of the way they were treated.
